I've used MANY different types of litters, my favourite was always Catsan, but this beats them all. Fantastic odour control (even with 4 house cats), very easy to removed soiled litter and the cats got used to it quite quickly (mixed with old litter first). Only downside is it does track, but so do all the others (This it the only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5). I certainly won't change and I won't be tempted with cheaper ones either,not now I have found one that doesn't stink!

We bought this litter for the rabbit hutch because it was recommended to us for that purpose at a trade fair. Up until now, we had been using silica litter as a base layer with wood shavings on top. We had hoped this "Cat's Best Nature Gold" litter would make things easier, but it falls far short of its promises. It binds odour and moisture inadequately and gets carried out of the hutch far more than the wood shavings we used before. The wet stuff sticks to the paws and ends up spread around the hutch and the house. You’d probably have to replace it every single day. Used it twice – threw the rest away.

I bought the litter based on a recommendation. After a few hours, I removed it again. It’s incredibly dusty. One of my tomcats went to the toilet outside because he didn’t want to step on the litter. Just as much litter gets carried out of the box as with clumping litter. I expected more!

Unfortunately, the quality has suddenly deteriorated. The comment before mine says it all.

I've been using this litter for well over a year now and I'm more than satisfied! (I have 2 long-haired cats) It binds urine odours brilliantly, clumps perfectly, and hardly gets tracked out of the litter box. I tried clumping litter made from other materials in between, but I wasn't happy with it.

I’ve been buying this litter for 2 years, and up until now, it was the best I could find. But this time, it’s full of dust, and instead of clumping, I’m finding a wet layer at the bottom that crumbles and doesn’t hold together. Such a shame.

I bought this litter because I assumed it would produce little dust and there would be less litter scattered around the flat from the cats' paws. But: Unfortunately, this litter is extremely dusty. There's wood dust everywhere—on the furniture, in your nose, and in your eyes. It's impossible to estimate how much of it the cats inhale when they dig. :( Such a shame! As for the claim "Doesn't stick to paws," I can only say that's definitely not true. The pellets are scattered everywhere within a few metres. I won't be buying or recommending this litter again.

Since the litter is very light and sticks easily to the fur, I could vacuum after every toilet visit – an extreme mess, as the litter gets spread everywhere. Additionally, the odour control is very poor. Despite regularly removing the clumps, which unfortunately sometimes fall apart, the litter box smells very strong after just a few days. This might work for neutered animals, but with my intact tomcat, the litter would need to be completely replaced constantly. Conclusion: In my opinion, this litter is at best suitable for raising kittens.

I initially got the normal cat's best litter and find it awful...tracking everywhere, doesn't clump particularly well etc. But this litter, for not very much more is the complete opposite....clumps well and doesn't track half as much and has the added advantage of looking a bit nicer.

I have two cats who absolutely love this litter. It smells like wood no matter what messes they leave behind. It's great for parquet flooring and hardly gets carried out of the litter box, even with longer fur. Efficiency: Two litter boxes only need a complete clean every 5-6 weeks with 10 litres of Cat's Best. Value for money: absolutely fine! Five paw stars for this litter.

After reading the reviews on this product I thought I would give it a go. It's awful! It smells of sawdust, doesn't stop the cat odour from the tray and doesn't clump well enough to remove lumps. This will work out really expensive as I will have to change the tray completely after only 3 days! The other clumping litters at the high price end are far better - the tray only needs changing completely once a week. I'll be sticking with Extreme Classic from now on!

The litter is just great. My two Maine Coons love it, and you no longer have litter scattered all over the flat. I can only recommend it!

My cat has medium long hair, she usually pees a lot especially when pregnant which left me completely changing her litter 3 times a day, this litter is good because it absorbs and expands and I rarely change the lot (only when disinfecting) Doesn't smell, unless the cat does a no2. I get quite a lot of trailing with her and wet litter sometimes gets stuck to her tail. Packaging is fine but delivery not - one of my bags was completely ripped due to something else piercing it and another had a hole in it.

We’ve tried many cat litters, but none are as good as Cat’s Best Nature Gold. At last, we’ve found the right cat litter for our Kucki (Maine Coon).

We have two Persian cats and initially tried out several brands of cat litter. However, with every single one, we found litter remnants all over the flat. With this litter, though, it’s much more manageable (max. 1–2 metres around the cat litter box). The clumping is also very good, as is its efficiency.

Now I’ve got big crumbs next to the litter box because my cat is always digging for gold. It doesn’t clump very well, and due to the large gaps, it needs more pellets. It was worth a try, but we’ll stick with Porta after all.

We've been using Cat's Best Nature Gold for 2 years now and are very disappointed with the declining quality recently. Before, it was always an excellent cat litter with no alternatives! The texture is increasingly reminiscent of Öko Plus and no longer has much in common with the nice large pellets. The result: it gets carried around the flat just like Öko Plus. Such a shame... we won't be using it anymore from now on!

After nearly 20 years of owning cats and just as long searching for the "perfect" cat litter, I’ve finally found it! Some time ago, I came across "Cat's Best Öko Plus" and was already very satisfied with it. The only "downside" so far was that the litter is very lightweight and often gets carried out of the toilet, ending up scattered around the flat. This problem has now been solved thanks to "Cat's Best Nature Gold Cat Litter"! A very efficient litter that is definitely worth its price. The perfectly shaped pellets stay where they belong: in the cat toilet. And that’s not just an advantage for long-haired cats :-) The litter clumps very well, is economical, and prevents unpleasant odours. It’s exactly what I’ve been searching for all these years...

When you first look at this product you think it's expensive, but it works out great value as it lasts so song in the litter tray. It clumps so well you can just scoop out what you need to and not have mess or urine in the litter tray, top it up when it gets a little low. Other cat litters say they are abosbant or clumping but this amazing. It has good odour control too. I have tried other litters but this one has to be the best, I have a Maine coon and 3 domestic cats and it is great for them all, esp the long hair, no mess.

I have a Maine Coon mix tomcat. I've tried lots of different cat litters, but none are as good and clumping as this one, especially since nothing sticks to the animal. Simply brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!
