Cat's Best Smart Pellets Cat litter

A friend recommended this cat litter and I saw a lot of good reviews, but unfortunately my two cats refuse to use it, so it's been wasted money! Great packaging from zooplus though, hence the 4 stars

I definitely better than the one in supermarkets, no odor, is come together, no messy...I heard was even better before... I will buy again unless is starting proven isn't worthy..

Probably the best overall. Very low tracking and no dust. 'Cat's Best Original' tracking is what nightmares are made of! The smart pellets are good with clumping but I purchase because its low tracking. More expansive than most but it lasts a month with my two cats.

I love this cat litter. It’s the best one I’ve ever purchased for my two Maine coon boys. It clumps fantastically and also doesn’t stick to their paws. Next to no smell either. I had a delivery today and they had put a burst bag of litter into the delivery box and sealed it. Thankfully the DPD delivery driver was very helpful and contained the leak. He gave me a delivery box to keep so I didn’t lose all of the litter.

I have a Maine Coon plus 2 other long haired cats and 5 short haired cats and this litter is fab. Doesn't stick to my long hairs, doesn't smell and has been in the tray for 4 weeks. Doesn't track which is why after trying 5 different litters recently this is now my go too. Only downside is it's expensive but you get what you pay for.

Cat litter for semi long-haired cats. I have used this product with my semi long-haired cats for years and it is to date the best..I have tried other brands and other varieties over the years, this tracks far less. I occasionally mix in a scoop of worlds best original ( which is a fine litter) ) This gets even better results but the final letter does track. It is just finding the best thing that works for you and your cats.

Been using for 5 years, selected favourite after much trial and error. However The formula seems to have changed and it is no longer clumping as before. Please change it back!

have 2 ragdoll cats. Have used Cats best nature gold for a long while and am happy with it, There is no tracking and contains odours well but it doesn't seem to clump very well. will continue to use it as its the best for no tracking. Has it changed and why?

Have been using this litter for about 3 years and all of a sudden the clumps are not holding together anymore! Just the last few months something seems to have been changed in the formula. Has anybody else noticed same? It's not the same as before at all. Always used to be so easy to remove the clumps but not now, a bit of a nightmare to catch all the bits that fall off, sometimes the clump disintegrates altogether! I'm at a point of starting to look for another litter now. Still gave this 4 starts as it keeps tracking and smells down to a minimum.

Good clumping, smell control is ok (average). Main plus is that this does not track round the house! Even for short haired cats, this is great. The light colour makes it easy to find the bits to remove and the clumping is good. Overall very good, would give 5 stars if smell control was perfect.

I switched over to Nature Gold from Catsan Hygiene as it seemed kitties don't like the idea of wee staying in their box! Haven't had any accidents in the house since switching and it's great not having to do a complete litter change twice a week. I have , however, had to purchase a big Catit litter scoop as the clumps are absolutely huge! Shame as I think a lot of litter is wasted due to the size of the clumps. The clumps seem to crumble a bit sometimes as well. The odour control isn't as good as Catsan Hygiene, but a few strategically placed Neutradol room fresheners seems to have done the trick!

I've used MANY different types of litters, my favourite was always Catsan, but this beats them all. Fantastic odour control (even with 4 house cats), very easy to removed soiled litter and the cats got used to it quite quickly (mixed with old litter first). Only downside is it does track, but so do all the others (This it the only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5). I certainly won't change and I won't be tempted with cheaper ones either,not now I have found one that doesn't stink!

I initially got the normal cat's best litter and find it awful...tracking everywhere, doesn't clump particularly well etc. But this litter, for not very much more is the complete opposite....clumps well and doesn't track half as much and has the added advantage of looking a bit nicer.

My cat has medium long hair, she usually pees a lot especially when pregnant which left me completely changing her litter 3 times a day, this litter is good because it absorbs and expands and I rarely change the lot (only when disinfecting) Doesn't smell, unless the cat does a no2. I get quite a lot of trailing with her and wet litter sometimes gets stuck to her tail. Packaging is fine but delivery not - one of my bags was completely ripped due to something else piercing it and another had a hole in it.

Oko's Best is still the best, (no smell, lasts for ages, great clumping, flushable!) BUT, as far as not tracking, I can say that it still gets stuck to the cat's paws and can be found everywhere, maybe a bit less than the original version, but still everywhere. Also, the pellets are bigger in size than the original Oko litter, and hurt more when trodden on barefooted! So, I will keep on buying the original, slightly cheaper, and overall better.

Great for eco-friendly people and easy to scoop(but not sure how eco-friendly the production method is to make it clump when wet??). Much easier to handle than non-clumping wood based litter. My cat does seem to get it everywhere but at least it tracks in pellet form and not sawdust everywhere like the non-clumping wood pellets. I have a long haired cat and it doesn't stick in his fur like the Oko-Plus flakes.

I have eight cats and they love this litter including 2 Persians. But do not follow the advice that it can be disposed of down the toilet - at least not with a multi cat household as I have had to clear my drain. I also wish it was in stock when I need it.

Especially for long-haired cats, it's an excellent product. Very little tracking. Absorbs moisture well. No litter box smell. Even with 5 cats (multiple trays). I've been using it for years and I'm happy with it.

Warning: 20L (as listed on the website) is actually 10kg (what I received). And if you choose the recommended option, be careful, you end up with 10L, so 5kg. Not very clear. Anyway, apart from that, good product.

Our favourite, but the quality, size, and colour have gone downhill. Such a shame.

My little kitties have dust allergies. So, this litter is excellent except that after a week or two I notice that dust starts to build up at the bottom of the tray. That’s a bit of a problem for mine. Other than that, it’s fantastic! No smell at all, doesn’t get spread around the house, and it’s easy to clean the tray.

It clumps satisfactorily. There are better pellets for clumping, but they're more expensive! I buy it because it has good quality and price, especially for a home with lots of rescued cats. A good alternative if you don't want bentonite.

It doesn’t get tracked around as much as the red type and it’s much less dusty. It’s good against odours and lasts a long time. I tried the tofu litters, but even with daily cleaning they became unbearably smelly within a week. One downside is that it doesn’t clump well, the clumps often fall apart, so cleaning is a bit more of a hassle.

In an apartment with 3 cats, it’s brilliant—no litter everywhere, not too dusty and it really keeps the smells in. I gave it 4 stars because often when you clean, the pee clump breaks apart, but nothing’s perfect 😊

Great cat litter

One of the best cat litters I’ve bought for my kitty. It does get tracked on her paws, not too much compared to others, but still a bit. If I don’t sweep right away, it builds up a little over the day. As for clumping, you need to wait about 30 minutes after peeing for the clump to harden. If you try to remove it immediately, the litter breaks into tiny pieces that fall through the scoop holes.

I’m very satisfied, it doesn’t create dust and the cats hardly bring anything out of the litter box anymore. Before, I only used Cats Best Original and there was always a lot of litter in front of the box, but now it’s just a few pellets, which you can easily pick up by hand. It also encourages scratching—our cat never used to cover her business, but now she does. The odour control isn’t quite as good as with the Original, probably because it’s so coarse, but it’s okay.

It doesn’t give off any dust, so it’s perfect for my brachycephalic kitten. It doesn’t have a strong scent, just a mild, natural woody smell. It absorbs well, clumps quickly, and is really easy to keep clean. It lasts a long time if you maintain it daily. It’s also great because hardly any of it sticks to my kitten’s paws, even though he’s long-haired.

I’ve been using litter from this company for years (previously Cat’s Best Original). I’ll stick with it, because it not only smells good, but is also quite economical to use (a complete change is only needed after 6 weeks, XXL litter tray, one cat). I also really like that you can dispose of the individual clumps in the toilet. I can’t confirm that the pellets get scattered around the flat less than the previous litter, though.
