Brilliant...
...but the packaging is way too small!!! Where's the 40-litre bag???

extravagant
Due to the large pieces, very wasteful; it does clump, but it's difficult to clean as a regular sieve can't be used. The toilet got clogged because of the large clumps. The only advantage: no more spreading around the flat, hence 2 points instead of 1.

Clumps perfectly, lasts a long time
I am very satisfied with this litter – I can’t understand the negative reviews. The litter doesn’t produce nearly as much dust as all the bentonite clumping litter types, and the clumps are very solid and compact. A litter tray filling CBNG lasts at least 3 weeks without any odours, etc.

You need to know what you want...
I’ve tried out a lot of different litters, and so far, I’m most satisfied with this one because it definitely stays in the litter box. That was the most important thing for me! I have two young cats, and both got used to it quickly and continue to use the litter box without any issues. You no longer have to vacuum every day to clean up scattered litter.

Constantly changing quality
I think this litter is one of the best, BUT ONLY if you get a good batch. The quality fluctuates so much, it's really annoying. That's why only 3 stars. Sometimes the packaging is slightly damaged, and the litter has already absorbed moisture, or you just get crumbly leftovers, which makes a huge mess in the loo. But when you do get a good pack, the litter is super efficient and really delivers on its promises...

Smells bad and doesn't suck
Never again for us. We weren’t convinced by the litter. We might as well have used our wood pellets! Smelly! Doesn’t clump! Hard to clean! A clear NO. We’re sticking with BioCats Fresh Compact! With that, you can cleanly remove the clumps and don’t have to replace the litter every other day.

This one really good product
I have never written a review before but after using others' people reviews to choose this product I think it is only fair to pass the message on myself - we have two cats and Cat's Best Nature Gold helped us to get rid of the constant smell and it is so easy to clean. I always make sure I order well in advance as I don't want to end up using anything else but Best Nature Gold.

Super!
I think this litter is the best we've tried so far. It clumps really well (I don’t understand why so many people say it doesn’t clump properly), making it easy to remove. It immediately neutralises odours and doesn’t get spread around the house (we have two long-haired cats). I’ve never noticed any dust when pouring it in, at least compared to everything we’ve used before, which was much dustier and created a proper cloud. The natural wood scent is pleasant, and personally, I prefer it to artificial fragrances – I mean, does baby powder scent exist in nature?

Mediocre
My cat doesn’t really like the large pellets and sometimes avoids burying her droppings – stinky stinky. The litter clumps very well, but into huge clumps – I use the Litter Locker II for disposal, and it’s already completely full after just three days. However, hardly any litter gets tracked out of the toilet.

The first time and never again
When my cats go to the toilet, I need a gas mask. I’m never buying this litter again.
I’ll stick to my old cat litter (with baby powder).

Ongoing topic: Cat litter
Ah, I'll never understand comments about cat litter! How is it possible that the same litter gets such wildly different reviews??? From "clumps perfectly" to "doesn't clump at all," from "smells great" to "stinks terribly," it's all there. Oh well.
I've worked my way through Cat's Best Öko Plus, Professional Classic Cat Litter with Odour Absorber, Extreme Classic, and now to Cat's Best Nature Gold. None of them have made me truly happy.
But Cat's Best Nature Gold has two key advantages: It really doesn't spread around the flat. There's a bit in front of the litter box, and occasionally a single pellet ends up 5 metres away. Otherwise, the flat is now litter-free. With the others, I even found litter in my bed. Ew! So, big plus for that.
The other advantage is the corners of the litter box. My cats are passionate corner pee-ers, and with bentonite and clay litters, the corners always got horribly stuck and it was a real struggle to clean them. Plus, there was always a nasty smear on the walls of the litter box. So, another point in its favour.
However, it really doesn't clump very well. Only with a lot of "liquid impact" does it form a decent clump. Otherwise, smaller clumps tend to fall apart easily, and it's not always clear what's clean and what's not. This means the consumption is significantly higher, so it's not exactly cost-effective.
Odours are well contained, though, the cats' paws stay super clean (which was a big issue with Extreme Classic), and I just find wood litter more appealing.
Conclusion: I'll stick with it for now. But I'm still hoping for major breakthroughs in cat litter research!

Quality is getting worse and worse!
At first, it was one of the best cat litters ever... especially as an alternative to Öko Plus, which tends to get spread all over the flat.
Then, after two years, the quality suddenly started to decline. The pellets became smaller and, as a result, this cat litter also began to get scattered around the flat more and more... its texture started to resemble Öko Plus more and more.
In recent months, the pellets have become slightly larger again, but now there's a lot of dust, the clumping effect is almost non-existent (the clumps fall apart immediately), and it sticks and turns into a horrible mess. This cat litter is therefore NO longer recommended!

Super
Clumps brilliantly, produces very little dust. No odours, doesn’t stick to the fur. I use it in combination with maize litter (Green Cat or Fressnapf BioPlan?) and I’m a thousand times happier than with all the bentonite litter types I’ve tested.

Dusts like crazy and sticks to the paws.
Such a shame, I had high hopes (I previously used the green product). The pellets were slightly larger, clumped well, and were easy to dispose of in the toilet. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. This stuff crumbles at the slightest touch, and my asthmatic Thai cat ends up with dusty paws up to his knees. That’s just not acceptable. He has to groom himself for hours, and whether that’s healthy is another question entirely. Alternatively, I have to shake him off, which isn’t always possible—and let’s be honest, what cat enjoys that? The entire bathroom is covered in dust. A complete disaster... I won’t be buying the green litter anymore either, as it’s just far too dusty. I’m very disappointed with this product.

Satisfied, but...
Overall, I’ve been quite satisfied with Cat’s Best Nature Gold for years now. I’d be really happy if larger packages were finally available to buy!

best cat litter ever
best cat litter ive ever used, clumps, lasts ages, doesnt track much and best of all its flushable. It also seems to really reduce the smell from the tray, with other litters you usually get the 'pong' as soon as the cat has done its stuff.....with this you just dont. Ive used other flushable cat litters but found a lot of them were dusty and i ended up with dusty paw prints all over my navy blue sofas..with this no dust no paddy paw prints everywhere. Its also a good price if fact I cant recommend it highly enough!!!

best I've come across
This litter is great. It's a natural product, lasts a long time, doesn't smell and the clumps can be quickly disposed of in the loo instead of wasting plastic bags.

Used to be great - now rubbish!
After two years of satisfaction, suddenly a bitter disappointment: The quality has suddenly dropped drastically and is absolutely no longer acceptable.
The pellets crumble into wood dust at the slightest touch, which clumps poorly and sticks as a sticky mess in the cats' fur! - What on earth happened?!? This is no longer usable!

Very good cat litter
I’ve tried several cat litters, including the Öko Plus, but I think this one is simply the best for our cat because it’s just coarser. Nothing sticks to her paws anymore. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Superb, simply brilliant!
I have a Persian mix, he loves this cat litter and it doesn’t stick to his long fur, I can only recommend it.
