Highly recommended!
This fishing rod is THE toy for these two cats here. The little one is more excited than ever before – we have to be careful that he doesn’t completely exhaust himself or injure himself in his enthusiasm, because in his hunting frenzy, he jumps three metres further than the rod and doesn’t pay attention to whether there’s something in the way or not.
Alright, the rod isn’t incredibly sturdy, and the feathers come off after just one day (but they can be reattached) – however, I bought it as part of a 3-pack deal, and for the price, it’s okay if one gets a bit battered.
For us, it’s the BEST toy we’ve ever had, and we finally have completely happy cats again.

Highly recommended!
My three love their new wand toy. Cookie usually NEVER plays, but he makes an exception for the wand. Every now and then a feather comes loose, but so far I’ve always been able to stick it back in, and it’s held up!

Feather toy
Hello everyone, I bought the toy in three versions, and it’s very nice. It’s my cats’ favourite toy. Unfortunately, it shows signs of wear quite quickly when we play like crazy. Totally recommend it!! :-))

Beautifully animated, but poorly made...
Unfortunately, after just a bit of waving it around, the first feathers already started falling out... Even for a cheap €1.99, a cat can expect a bit more! Such a shame, because my cat was really into it. Maybe someone should let the manufacturer know that feathers attached with heat shrink tubing make no sense for a toy meant for a little rascal...

Absolutely brilliant
This thing is absolutely amazing! 😍
My two cats (3 years old) went so wild with it that I was genuinely worried my Pumi was about to die a hero’s death! She just lay there, panting and gasping, and I really got scared for a moment. But even then, she didn’t want to stop chasing and jumping after it. The toy moves just like a little bird or a big insect when you swing it back and forth – absolutely brilliant. Even my chubby Gizmo bear (7 years old) jumped after it, and that’s saying something, haha.
I reckon this could even get a couch potato up and moving. I’ve got loads of toys lying around here, but I’ve honestly never seen anything like this before...
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of leaving the toy on the floor after the play session. Result: The little ones completely shredded the "birdie," and now I’ve got to pull out the next wand so the fun can continue. I immediately ordered a bunch of new ones 😊. So, here’s a tip: Put it away properly after playing, otherwise it won’t last long 😅.
Absolutely recommend it!

30 seconds of fun
Our young cat found the toy very appealing, as did our chubby tomcat. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few moments before the feathers came apart. The craftsmanship is very poor; with some DIY gluing, you might get a few more play sessions out of it, but not much. In my opinion, the toy is only suitable for very small, not very strong kittens.

He completely freaks out - but it's broken in 3 minutes.
This fishing rod is a hit, but unfortunately, the quality is extremely poor – within 3 minutes, the feathers came off. Even after gluing them back on, it doesn’t last long.
We modified the rod and tied one of his toy mice to it instead. That’s great too, but the feathers were better.

Best fishing rod for games
We’ve now ordered the fishing rod directly in a pack of three. We’ve tried quite a few play rods for our picky cat, with rattles, mice, and other gimmicks, but her favourite is definitely this one with the feathers. However, since we have a little “Sister Rabiata,” I must admit it doesn’t take her long to tear it apart. Still, it’s worth every penny! Highly recommended!

Encourages the cats, poorly made
I’ve just received the cat wand and have never seen our tomcat play like this before. He was completely out of breath.
Unfortunately, it broke within 2 minutes. The feathers are simply inserted and can be easily pulled out by our wild cats!
The toy actually deserves top marks, but I have to deduct points for the workmanship.

Makes tired tomcats lively...
My two tomcats go absolutely wild when they see us reaching for the wand toy.
Even the older one can’t contain his hunting instincts anymore. For us, the big difference is a) the flying motion and b) the sounds the wand makes when it’s swung. To be on the safe side, we immediately ordered a spare, even though the feathers are still completely intact and holding up surprisingly well, despite the fact that both of them have been going at the toy daily for the past two weeks without holding back :-) . We can wholeheartedly recommend the Bird cat wand to everyone!!!

The idea is absolutely brilliant, but...
...unfortunately, the craftsmanship is so poor that the first of three rods fell apart into its individual components within seconds. The feathers aren’t even tied; they’ve simply been stuck into the plastic holder. And the holder itself is only very loosely connected to the "attachment" of the fishing line, which has also just been inserted there. One tug, one swipe of a paw, and the cat has separated the feathers from the rest of the rod. Really a shame, because all my cats are absolutely crazy about it. My tomcat even fetches the rod from the top of the cupboard where it’s supposed to be stored... it would be really great if the quality of this toy could be improved! Because it would definitely be worth it!

Simply brilliant...
Got this play wand today and unpacked it straight away. After a quick sniff, I couldn’t get my two chubby ones (British Shorthairs) away from it. They’re hunting like crazy, even the older one is jumping after it and has become really active again. Not even panting stops them from continuing to chase it. I only ordered one to start with and already regret it – I’ll be adding a three-pack of these wands to my next order. So far, the toy is still intact, but even if it only lasts a week, watching them hunt, jump, etc. is totally worth it. Highly recommended!!! :-)

Top-notch!!!!!
My white Persian/Angora mix is definitely not one of the hunters, but with this toy, it's a whole different story. He chases after it, leaps into the air :-000000, truly unbelievable, and even when he's completely worn out, the little bird flies by again, and he just can't resist!!!! This toy is absolutely brilliant, good thing I ordered three of them straight away. Even after constant active use, it's still like new at an amazing price. We simply say brilliant and a big thank you to Zooplus.

Goes down really well
Both cats go absolutely crazy when they see me grab the fishing rod, and then it's hunting like there's no tomorrow!

Great toy
Our three boys love it, and they play with it a lot. It’s a great way to tire them out properly.
When you bring out this fishing rod, no cat will stay lazily lying in the corner for sure.

Amazing!
The best thing I’ve tried so far!!!
Even my lazy outdoor cat totally reacted to it and played like crazy – I’ve never seen her like that before. Absolutely recommendable. You don’t have to move much yourself and can get the cat to perform at its best. The Bird is brilliant! I don’t mind having to reassemble it now and then. Thumbs up – I immediately ordered another three-pack.

Super good at EVERYTHING!
I already left a review on the day of delivery (2/9/11). But now, two days later, it’s still not broken, and the threading of the string is holding up well. I don’t know the original, but I can’t imagine it being better than this one from zooplus. You always have to keep in mind that a cat with a natural hunting instinct is playing with this toy and all the wear and tear it has to endure—respect for that, especially at this price. Thank you, says my cat!

Perfect for hunters, but wears out quickly.
My cat loved it straight away, chasing after the "little bird", but unfortunately, one of the guinea fowl feathers (?) came off during the very first use.
The long rod is excellent!

Cat toy Bird
Hello to all cats and their lovers!
Today, or rather my cat (10 months old), received this toy. We were immediately thrilled. This toy is excellent for the price and holds up really well against the strength a cat develops while playing.
My cat even fell asleep during play, with the prey between her front legs.
I've never seen anything like that before.
We're both absolutely delighted.
Price and craftsmanship: TOP!

Great toy – just not very durable ;)
Our cats (1 Maine Coon & 2 kittens) went absolutely crazy for the toy wand. Especially our Maine Coon immediately pounced on it and took it to safety... (Our tomcat doesn’t retrieve, he adopts *LOL*)
As soon as I got the wand out, he was already jumping on me... Unfortunately, the feathers quickly fell victim to his intense tugging, though that’s probably more down to the cat than the wand itself... He’s quite rough... *g*
A TOP toy, especially the buzzing sound it makes as it flies through the air drives the cats absolutely wild...
I’ll definitely be buying it again!
