That really gets the hunting instinct going.
The fishing rod is a big hit with my cat. I initially ordered just one to see how long it would last. My cat starts meowing as soon as I go to the cupboard where the rod is kept. Then we practise hunting in wild play sessions. The rod did lose one feather at the beginning, but the rest are firmly attached, even though the feathers get thoroughly chewed and kicked when caught. Since it’s such a success, I’ve gone ahead and ordered the 3-pack again.

Have fun
The fishing rod is brilliant. We've had it for a good 3 months now, and my two are still absolutely crazy about it. Even my chubby one shows surprising agility when trying to catch the "bird" ,-)
1 point deducted because the feathers come out very quickly, and you constantly have to put them back in.

Class.
Our two absolutely love them. They go crazy for them.
We’ve had the rods since today, and Kira already nicked one.
Even though they probably won’t last long, the fun they’re having is totally worth it, and they’re definitely having loads of it :)

My cat loves it.
My little kitty gets all excited as soon as she notices this cat wand being taken out of the drawer. The feathers spin in the air and are surprisingly light and easy to control.
You just have to be careful not to reward the cat with it too often, otherwise the feathers break quite quickly. But since it’s a natural product, it still gets a full 5 stars from me.

Super
My cats absolutely love this toy wand! It seems to look like a bird to them... at least they show clear hunting behaviour followed by securing their "prey" when we play with it. I can only recommend the wand. If you store it safely out of the cats' reach after playing, it lasts quite a while. Otherwise, it ends up (at least in my case) being torn into individual feathers within a day.

Super
The fishing rod is simply amazing. My red girl is usually very calm, but with this rod, she jumps into the air, does flips, somersaults, and just can't get enough of it. And when she can't chase it anymore, I take the feathers off the string, and then she keeps playing with them and grooming them. My other girl likes it too, but she doesn't stand a chance when her sister is playing.

Favourite toy
The cats absolutely love this wand (and not just the cats – we can’t stop laughing at the moves they pull off).
Even when the cats are asleep, if you so much as touch the wand, they spring up and want to play (and ideally, you should never stop moving the wand). Highly recommended!!

Alright
My tomcat is absolutely crazy about this thing. He plays and romps around wildly and is clearly having fun. One point deducted because the quality isn’t great. On the very first day, I had to glue the feathers back on because he had already managed to pull them all apart. It’s not durable. But the fun is worth it. The only question is whether I’d buy it again at the current price. I got it cheaply on offer.

doesn't last a minute
Despite the bad reviews, I ordered it because it was on offer, and I’m bitterly disappointed.
My kittens are only 16 weeks old, but after the first catch, half the feathers were already gone. After it got stuck and we tried to play more carefully, the entire rubber piece where the feathers are attached (the connection to the stick) came off.
I would have only given it one star, but since my boys absolutely love it, I gave it two. Such a shame!!!!

Doesn't last long
Our Samson tore the "bird" apart in no time, even though he's certainly not the fastest and just a small cat weighing 3.5 kg. I'd rather invest my money in a "Da Bird"! That one lasts!

Bird substitute
The ultimate toy. My kittens are absolutely crazy about it and even do loops for it. Despite some intense biting attacks, it's still intact. I've ordered another one as a backup.

THE toy par excellence :-)!!
The Bird is amazing! Our cats go absolutely crazy as soon as they even suspect we’re about to bring it out :-).
You never see such athletic performances from them as when they’re playing with the Bird and chasing it :-) I’m completely thrilled!!!
The only downside is that it breaks so quickly (the feathers are always ripped out very fast and should be attached much more securely). That’s why we always buy the Bird in multipacks.

Breaks quickly
The feathers fell out completely during the first game. Now I have to come up with a way to reattach them. I hope I can manage it without having to use toxic glue or sharp wire.

My furry friend's favourite toy
For the past three days, I’ve been playing and laughing at my cat as she tries to catch the bird with increasingly daring acrobatic moves. Absolutely hilarious. The Zooplus Bird is the budget-friendly alternative to the daBird – and under supervision, it’s great fun to play with. Five stars for a well-thought-out concept, loads of playtime fun, and great value for money. The only downside: the feathers are a bit loose. On the first day, one flew off, and after three days, my cat managed to grab the whole tuft of fur – luckily, they can be easily reattached, and with a bit of DIY (cable ties, etc.), they can be secured more firmly. All in all, it’s quickly become my cat’s new favourite toy. I’ve never seen her chase a toy for so long at a stretch, and I’d definitely buy this wand again ;O)!

My furry friend's absolute favourite toy
5 stars for the fact that this feather wand (as far as I can tell, an imitation of the more expensive daBird feather wand often recommended in cat forums) immediately became my cat's favourite toy, is really well thought out in concept, and even manages to get rather lazy cats to play. The price-performance ratio seems okay. If you want to encourage your indoor tiger to perform acrobatic feats or really tire them out, this wand is the right choice. However, after the first 15 minutes of play, it did lose a feather, which I was able to simply stick back in. If I could have given four and a half stars, I would have, as I think the feather attachment could be improved.
That said, I’ve rarely laughed so much while playing with my cat, who performed circus-worthy jumps while chasing the bird. Highly recommended!!

Our 5 indoor cats took to it straight away.
...but unfortunately, the "lifespan" is very, very short. Such a shame.

Great, but it doesn't hold up against playful tomcats.
Our little gang absolutely loved playing with the feather wand.
Unfortunately, most of the feathers were gone by the first evening—simply played off within 15 minutes of alternating chasing.
With only one feather left, the toy doesn’t fly nicely anymore either. Great idea for a game, but the craftsmanship isn’t cat-proof.
Such a shame.

Wears out very quickly
My cat Emil loved the fishing rod and the feather spinner attached to it. Unfortunately, the rod was done for after just 2 minutes.
Such a shame. Despite multiple attempts to put it back together, there was no saving it. After half a day, its final destination was the bin.

My chunky cat is playing!!!!!
Wow!!! I’m absolutely thrilled!!! My tomcat has become very overweight and unathletic due to his special food (because of illness). He hardly moves at all... but this toy rod is amazing – he loves it and runs after it for hours! His owner is already out of breath!! He jumps up, runs around, and you’re always laughing because sometimes he tumbles over or falls off the sofa... I can only recommend this toy rod for such a small price! Both the owner and the cat have so much fun!!!

Super!!!
The third delivery has finally arrived, and my two little rascals have already managed to break one or two of these absolutely amazing fishing rods, but that’s not a problem—it doesn’t take away from the fun of the game. They’re absolutely crazy about them! Today, they even pounced on the packaged rod! I can only recommend them!!
