I bought these for the rescue I volunteer for. The feathers were pulled out in seconds by kittens (circa 3-4 months old). Hopeless and a waste of money.

It doesn't have rotating parts, so it gets all tangled after seconds of use! Do not get it, it doesn't work as intended.

The new design without the metal piece cannot rotate freely, which causes the springs to immediately get tangled in the cord, leaving it hopelessly knotted in no time.

My cats loved the toy wand, but unfortunately, it fell apart right after the first play session, so only one star.

Unfortunately, you can't play with the fishing rod for long because the string quickly wraps around the feathers, and then the rod has to be untangled again first!

Tangles within seconds, the clip design needs to be able to spin to stop the string coiling around it. Really terrible so disappointing

Terrible quality, the line gets completely tangled, the rod tends to fall apart easily. Not recommended. Such a shame. Please fix this or have it fixed.

Twists very quickly, the attachment used to be better.

Previously, the whole thing with the ball chain didn’t get twisted like this. With the plastic part, it’s become really bad.

This fishing rod used to be really fun. Ever since the spring suspension was replaced with plastic, it's become useless.

Since the change to the holder with the rubber part, the cord keeps twisting all the time. No longer usable! Such a shame, our British Shorthair used to love playing with it 😔

These cat wands are completely useless now that it's just the rubber thing at the bottom. Please bring back the old ones.

The fishing rod used to be much, much better. There used to be a small metal chain part attached, and the line didn’t always get tangled. Now it’s barely usable.

The cord twists constantly and after a short time is only 5 cm long... making it absolutely unusable. When I buy a product, I don’t want to have to buy an additional accessory; I want it to work as it is. Not well thought out, sorry.

No word of a lie this toy broke within seconds of my young cat playing with it. 3 of the 4 feathers fell off. Length of stick is good.

These fishing rods used to be a big hit with my cats for a long time – but recently, the string keeps twisting permanently and shortening to the point where it’s only about 5cm long, making play almost impossible. Untangling it is hardly successful and quite frustrating. On top of that, the assembled rod falls apart quickly. When the rod first arrived in this "unplayable" state, I thought, "Hey, maybe it’s just a bad production week," but they’re all this bad.

Unfortunately, the design of the play fishing rod has been changed, making it unusable. Thankfully, there was a comment from "Bettina" (many thanks at this point). She gave the tip to buy a "SWIVEL FROM FISHING SUPPLIES" (comment further down). I followed her advice, and now the rod is ready for use again. However, the old solution was still a bit better.

This fishing rod was the best toy. However, the new version is completely useless and should no longer be sold. The line gets tangled within seconds, and the rod becomes unusable. Such a shame! I can't understand how a product can be made so much worse in the name of improvement.

This becomes unusable after just two swings because the string gets so tangled that you can’t play with it anymore. Since the feathers seem heavier than in the old version, I think that might be the reason. Really a shame, my cat was crazy about the toy.

The band curls up so much that after a short time you have to painstakingly untangle everything again. Wouldn't buy the rod again.
