The best toy rod I’ve found for me and my four-legged friends <3
I’ve got the hang of it with my little ones, and it’s such a blast playing with them.
When they’ve latched onto it :D I just wait a bit, and voilà, the feathers are free and, most importantly, still intact.
I especially love the long handle, which I initially thought would snap quickly... but nope! Instead, they’ve managed to snatch the rod right out of my hand <3

Not particularly durable!!
After about 2 minutes, the feather attachment fell off for the first time, and after 20 minutes of playing with our 4-month-old kitten, the thing was beyond saving! The feathers kept falling out and couldn’t be securely reattached. Such a shame because those 20 minutes of play really brought him a lot of joy.

Brief pleasure
The cats are absolutely thrilled with the flying feathers – and they react accordingly. The thing was caught in no time and the attachment ripped off – after several repairs, it was done for after just 2 days. The thing is now completely destroyed and beyond repair – now I understand why these come in packs of three. All the feathers plucked out, the holder demolished, only the stick is still intact. Such a shame.

Best "hunting game"!
My two "hunters" absolutely love their "bird" on the wand. If you handle the wand skilfully, it lasts longer... ours has already lasted 3 weeks with twice-daily play sessions. During all this time, only a couple of feathers have fallen out (been plucked)... in those instances, I was too slow ;-). If a feather does fall out, I just stick it back in firmly and the game continues.

Not sturdy enough
My Bengal cat loves these toys. However, since they never last longer than 5 minutes, I don't think the price-performance ratio is right. He bites through the string very quickly, and the feathers come off too easily.
That's why these fishing rods are more of a special treat rather than an everyday toy.

always loved
The fishing rods are great, but unfortunately, they break very quickly – one evening and the fun is over, as the springs and the plastic tube come off. The workmanship could be better. Luckily, the rod is still usable; you can wrap some tape around the end, and it works like an insect again – the cats love it. I don’t know of any toy that gives the cats more enjoyment, so I’m sticking with the 5 stars.

Suitable for Maine Coons!!!
I have two fully grown Maine Coon tomcats who absolutely love this play wand. Despite their strength, the wand has already lasted a week, whereas others usually only survive two play sessions before falling apart.
This one has held up brilliantly so far and is a big hit!
Highly recommended!!!

Pure ecstasy
As already mentioned by previous reviewers, this is the most popular toy ever. Simply secure the springs again with duct tape or something similar before the first use, and the durability is significantly improved.
The only tricky part is finding an unreachable hiding spot for the rod when it’s not playtime, as my two even climb onto cupboards to get to it :P

Well...
Overall, my cats had a lot of fun with it, but the first feathers started coming off during playtime after a short while... other than that, I'm satisfied with it. ;)

Short-lived fun
After the first wand lasted only two hours, I decided to order the 3-pack for my next purchase. The first one lasted a day, the second didn’t even make it 10 minutes. Unfortunately. The craftsmanship is just terrible. For the feather part, they simply stuck four feathers on one side and a small metal ring, which is tied to the string, on the other side into a plastic tube, and then shrank it using heat. This is how the feathers and string are held together – but only until a playful cat catches the "prey" and grabs one of the feathers. Once one feather is missing, the remaining feathers lose their hold and almost fall out on their own shortly after. Such a shame, because all my cats actually enjoy playing with the wand.

I can highly recommend it.
Both of my indoor cats start "chattering" as soon as they see this toy. One of my cats leaps into the air, including somersaults, up to 1.50 metres high. Both of them, even the calmer one, get really excited and absolutely love playing with this toy.
We have several fishing rod toys at home, but this one is their absolute favourite—I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The only downside is that you can't buy just the attachment on its own.

Super
This is Puschel's favourite toy rod, and even the big sister loves playing with it – but Puschel only has to hear the swooshing sound (that the rod makes when it whizzes through the air) and she comes running. Unlike other rods, both of them like to hold onto this one between their paws and chew on it, which is why we're already on our third and now only buy them in packs of three. The fun the little one has with it is more than worth it to me.

Cats love it - but it's not very sturdy.
The feathers shimmer and move during flight, mimicking a bird both visually and through the sound – really great.
Unfortunately, after just five minutes of normal play, all the feathers came off.
It's best to glue the quills of the feathers down before the first play. Since then, they've held up brilliantly.

My cats love them!
This fishing rod gets played with every day. Unfortunately, the feathers only last 2-3 play sessions unless you intervene. However, I’ve sewn one of them back on with the plastic sleeve, and for another, I tied a large fabric bow (made from wide gift ribbon) to it, which definitely doesn’t reduce the fun factor, as the claws can grip onto it nicely.
Just be a bit creative and don’t throw the rod away straight away!
1 star deducted due to the short lifespan.

The best toy ever
My cat and I are absolutely thrilled with this wand toy. Since my cat is very picky when it comes to toys (I’ve bought loads before – ended up giving them all away!), I didn’t have high hopes, but my cat is completely crazy about this wand toy. A fantastic purchase at a very good price.
I’d also like to mention the speedy delivery – ordered yesterday, in my hands today. Thank you!

Short-lived fun
Great, long fishing rod. Unfortunately, the rod doesn’t last more than three play sessions with my Coonies. But for the price, it’s fine!

The fishing rod is simply brilliant.
My Bengals love this wand toy. The feathers came off after the first play session, but they love the feathers even without the wand, and I simply tied one of the "Egypt mice" (which are also available here) to the wand. Since the wand is nice and long, you can use it brilliantly to encourage them to hunt. It's an absolute favourite for both of them :-)
I deducted a point because the wand as a whole broke quickly due to the feathers coming loose.

Number 1 so far
Got this toy today and tested it straight away... she's never played with anything for this long before :-) It's a shame the durability isn't very high, but for the price, I'm ordering another three-pack right now.

Stab sticks out uncomfortably.
Unfortunately, the fishing rod is only a short-lived source of fun, even though my two rascals are really into it. The last one tore at the connection between the feathers and the string within two minutes. It was similar with the first one. What's unpleasant is that at the connection point of the rods, one of them frays, which leads to itchy tiny plastic fibres on the skin. If it already makes me itch so much, what happens if the cats swallow it?

Popular toy with short durability
My two lady cats are absolutely crazy about this feather wand. Unfortunately, we've already had to buy it again three times, as no wand manages to keep the feathers intact for more than 2-3 intense play sessions... Such a shame!!
