The first Bird cat wands I ordered were great. The cats loved them. Naturally, the feathers eventually come off, so I ordered new ones. Apparently, the string on the new ones has been changed, because it now curls up immediately. So instead of 30 cm of string, it shrinks down to 5 cm. On top of that, it quickly wrapped itself around our tomcat's front paw. Unfortunately, I can't upload photos here to better illustrate what I mean.

I used to be very satisfied, but now the fishing line keeps curling up, and it's really annoying. SUCH A SHAME, I'll have to look for another one.

We ordered the fishing rod again, as we have done several times before. Our cats absolutely love it. And since you used to be able to order a set of three, we wanted to stock up: Now we've received 12 (!!!) individual rods. The fun for humans wears off quickly too, as the string gets tangled up, and you end up spending all your time untangling it instead of playing. The stock is definitely going back. Such a shame. The model has been completely "redesigned" to its disadvantage. No longer a recommendation to buy!

Unfortunately, the feather part is now attached to the rod with a carabiner, which means the feathers no longer spin as they used to, and the rod itself is also heavier than before. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have ordered it again.

My tomcat loves this feather wand. Personally, I’m bothered by the clasp and the fact that the string is so thin.

I ordered this fishing rod back in August and received one with a metal connection, which rotated freely without the string twisting and tangling. Now I've ordered it again and have to agree with the other reviews – it's extremely annoying during play. Apart from that, it's a fantastic toy, as the cat absolutely loves it and goes completely wild for it.

This is the second time I’ve bought this item. The last time I purchased a cat wand, the quality was very good, but this time the new version was very disappointing. Its strings soon shortened by twisting around each other. I had to stop frequently to untangle the knotted strings.

Unfortunately, the new plastic closure constantly twists the cord. I hope this gets reversed.

I’ve bought the fishing rod several times already. Unfortunately, it’s been changed. Previously, you could play with the cats for a long time without any issues. Now, the band keeps twisting constantly and has to be untangled and turned back the other way first. Really a shame. The feather attachment still "flies" very well and keeps the cats interested for longer than other attachments.

Super length. Lovely feathers. I can only recommend it.

The good thing is that both my cats had loads of fun. The bad thing is it really only lasted a short while before all the feathers were plucked out.

In the new version, you get a thread that twists. This happens so severely that the strap is only a few centimetres long after a short time. Absolutely unusable.

My cats love the Bird Wand. Unfortunately, it has been changed recently – instead of beads, it now has loops above the feathers, which is theoretically a good idea as you’d only need to replace the feather part rather than the whole wand. But... in practice, the string gets tangled and twisted so quickly and so much that after just a few swings, I have to stop and untangle everything again. This really disrupts the fun and flow of play and... ends up causing more frustration than enjoyment.

The cats love this wand toy, However, the most recently delivered ones had a new feature that I don’t find quite as ideal. Instead of the small ball chain, the feather attachment is now fastened to the string with a plastic hook. As a result, the string gets completely twisted during play, like an old telephone cord, and you have to untangle it again after a very short time. In my opinion, this is a change for the worse. I hope it gets reverted.

My tomcat absolutely loves it and enjoys playing with it immensely.

I ordered this product twice. - The first wand was fantastic! The string is very long, and my lazy cat really came to life! She didn’t want to stop playing at all. - With the second wand, the connection between the string and the feathers was different—a plastic hook. The wand got so twisted after two minutes that the string was only a few centimetres long, and I spent more time untangling the whole thing than actually playing with the cats.

My kitty loves it! He goes absolutely crazy, it's almost impossible to stop him. I’ll have to order some more straight away in case he breaks it!
