Mushed up pellets
I normally use original cats best but tried the pellets last time to see if it helped with tracking with my long haired cats. Which it did. I now receive 2 large packs in this delivery and they are only about 30/40 % complete pellets the rest is crumbed pellets and dust which will be worse for tracking than the original cats best. Both packets are affected. The extra cost makes this very disappointing.

Quality deterioration
I have been buying this litter lately because it wasn't tracking as badly as the previous sort. But the quality has deteriorated and it quickly breaks up into tiny crumbs which make an awful mess. I won't be buying again.

Excellent cat litter - if you learn how to use it
This cat litter is fab. It's flushable, lasts ages and doesn't track.
You have to learn how to use it though and it's slightly more complicated than regular litter. You'll need a shifting litter tray; check out Youtube for videos that explain how to use them properly.

Crumbles leaving soiled litter behind
Always purchased the Cat's Best Smart Pellets because there was little or no smell, when first put out very woodsy smell, clumped very well, easy to scoop up taking everything soiled. Now something has changed and urine spots crumble on contact with the scooper making it very difficult to collect all the bits. Using a lot more litter and cleaning out the litter box far more frequently. Please return to the old smart pellets - please.

Poor quality of pellets
My last purchase consisted of mainly dust and tiny pieces - it was also a lot darker in colour. I hope this is a one -off as previously it was a great product but this last bag I ended up throwing most away and the rest was all over my floor!

Great for low tracking
Probably the best overall. Very low tracking and no dust. 'Cat's Best Original' tracking is what nightmares are made of! The smart pellets are good with clumping but I purchase because its low tracking. More expansive than most but it lasts a month with my two cats.

Constant ripping bags
I love this product and there is no better litter on the market but something has changed with the bags. I am tired of every single one ripping, the last 5 I have bought have all been the same. One split and was left outside by the delivery driver is only to get rained on. You can imagine the mess. Please solve your issues with your bags.

I was a little sceptical, but it’s amazing
My groomer and good friend recommended I try the Cats Best Smart Pellets, rather than using standard wood pellets for my two cats.
I gave this a go, and a month later, I have cancelled my multiple bag ‘subscribe and save’ order for wood pellets, and will be getting one (possibly one-and-a-half) bags of these Smart pellets a month.
They are amazing, and there is so little waste. Love them, thanks for the heads up Nina..!

Not the same anymore! Tiny pieces tracking everywhere and dusty! :(
I’ve used this litter happily for a few years but the quality has just totally crashed. The litter pieces are now much smaller and fragile to break into smaller pieces which then track all over the entire home… and I’ve encountered something for the first time with this litter which is the dreaded dusty paw prints! This product used to have essentially no dust and only minimal tracking of a few pieces outside the litter box… now it is the opposite.
I’m now on the search for a better option.

Great Litter!
My Norwegian Forest cat is very messy in the litter tray and having such fluffy paws, she tracks the litter not only out of the room the tray is in but also into other rooms. I have found this litter is excellent at clumping, very effective with odour control and there is hardly any tracking which, frankly, amazed me. I think it’s worth the cost so would highly recommend it.

Great product but burst bag in undamaged box
I love this cat litter. It’s the best one I’ve ever purchased for my two Maine coon boys. It clumps fantastically and also doesn’t stick to their paws. Next to no smell either. I had a delivery today and they had put a burst bag of litter into the delivery box and sealed it. Thankfully the DPD delivery driver was very helpful and contained the leak. He gave me a delivery box to keep so I didn’t lose all of the litter.

Best cat litter for indoor cats
I’ve tried lots of different brands of litter, and this is by far the best. Masks a lot of the odours (obviously not all). Just take out the clumps regularly, and the rest is still good. Not sharp on the cats feet. They are comfortable using it. Maybe expensive but it’s well worth the money. I definitely would not back to using a cheaper brand. I probably use 1 per month between 3 litter trays. Just keep your trays clean and you can top up with new litter.

Cat likes it but most of all we do as none of it sticks to his paws so no need to vacuum everytime the cat goes in the tray!

Clumps well, no smell, lasts ages
This litter clumps well into a big ball that is easily picked out. The tray doesn’t smell, you can’t even notice it is there. I have a ragdoll and the tracking is very minimal. Whatever he does track, his Mat catches it so no need to hoover multiple times per day. This is flushable so very handy with no need for bin bags to throw the waste litter out.
MUCH worse than the original, no odour control
We’ve been using cat’s best original, the red band but decided we have had enough of the terrible tracking. Was recommended this but biggest mistake ever. THIS PRODUCT HAS NO ODOUR CONTROL. Literally none. We’ve only been using it for a week and the whole flat stinks and won’t go away even after daily scooping. It tracks less than the original but you waste so much more as well, scooping is so inefficient, and with the nonexistent odour control I would recommend staying away from this one!

Brilliant
The best feature of this litter is the clumping. So easy to lift soiled litter out in one lump, leaving the rest of the train clean, which means one bag lasts ages. I barely have to top it up. Also, it doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray, so cleaning is very easy. Only downside compared with Cats Best Universal is it tracks a bit more, but the fact it lasts so long and clumps well means I much prefer it, and it is better value despite the apparently high price per bag. Odour control great.

I am trialling this in just one of 3 litter boxes. What it is good: it seems to track very little.
The clumping is useless. The nature of the pellets I think it may take quite a while to clump successfully. If you have a cat that digs then it is scattered about the tray and hard to remove.
Cats not using it as much as their current litter possibly due to pellet texture under their paws.

Best litter ever!
After 14 years with my Izzy: for us, this is the best cat litter! We've tried a lot and, shocked by the government-induced inflation, saw how everything—especially in the pet sector—suddenly doubled in price! After using ultra litter and 'normal' clumping litter that spreads all over the flat (just one room) and gets stuck between the little toes, these wood pellets are simply THE BEST. Excellent but too expensive
One of the best cat litters I've ever tried, maybe even the best. Quality has really gone downhill
