Finally found something good
I’ve been looking for a product to help little kittens settle in for ages! We’ve honestly tried everything, and I was dissatisfied! Either the kittens liked to nibble on it, it got scattered everywhere, or you could smell urine very quickly.
The pellets are lovely, small, and delicate, and they form clumps. TOP!

For us, the best cat litter.
I only discovered this great pellet-shaped litter a few weeks ago. I’m so glad there’s a cat litter that doesn’t get spread all over the flat. Only a few small pieces end up right in front of the litter box. I’m happy to pay more for the luxury of not having to vacuum all the time. Our cats adapted to it straight away. It wasn’t an issue, even though the litter is quite coarse. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet found a suitable scoop that works well for sifting.

Great litter!
We’re really happy with it! The litter controls odour brilliantly. You only smell poo if someone was too lazy to bury it. 😂 The pellets are a good size and don’t get stuck in the fur of our Nevas. It was accepted without any issues.

Not bad, not great
Thought I would try something different, I usually get Greenwood’s plant fibre green clumping litter, and I much prefer Greenwood’s. This didn’t seem to clump quite as well as the Greenwood’s option, and I found it didn’t disguise the smell as well. Overall, it’s not bad & and it works but is a bit messy. Incase anyone is wondering if to try either!

Not very long-lasting
Yes, there's noticeably less litter flying out of the box (my tomcat has a box where he jumps in and out from the top), but that's about the only positive thing. While "Cat's Best Original" lasts a good 6-8 weeks, with the Smart Pellets there was already too little material in the box after just 3 weeks. The odour control isn't as good either, which is mainly because my tomcat hardly or doesn't cover his landmines with the pellets. That doesn't happen with the "Original".

Very good wood pellets.
Absorbs odours well, easy to use and little tracking.

Finally, no more litter in the flat
This litter has convinced us and our two Birmans for several reasons:
- Hardly spreads around the flat. Most of it stays on the litter mat.
- The clumping is very good. The pellets can be quickly sifted out with a slotted scoop.
- The litter is much lighter and more environmentally friendly than bentonite litter.
- Pleasant wood scent.
- The price is too high depending on the supplier. However, at around €1/l, this litter offers very good value for money.

We have been your customers for two years.
I don’t understand why people are sending complaints about this, but this is the best I’ve found for a cat litter box. It doesn’t smell, you can flush it down the toilet, it absorbs the urine where the cat has peed, lasts for three months for one cat, and there’s hardly anything left on the floor after the cat’s done its business... I really don’t get all these complaints. The price and quality meet expectations!

Worth it!
I used to use Catsan but it made such a mess, since swapping to this my cats seem much more happier and theres less mess as its chunkier and it also smells more natural and absorbs well making it easy to dispose of!

Best litter for long-haired furry paws!
Despite the many negative reviews, I still decided to give this litter a try, and I’m more than thrilled 😁👍🏻. Not only does it clump really well, making it super economical, but it also doesn’t get tracked around the flat 😊. I’ve been searching forever for suitable litter for my Sacred Birman and Ragdoll cats 🐱. It doesn’t smell and can be easily disposed of in the toilet 👍🏻. All my tomcats accepted it straight away, and I’ll never buy another litter again!

Okay
Used this litter for ages and liked it, however the price has gone up so much!
It clumps well but does track a fair amount. I changed to the corn litter and am so much happier with it!
Good product but not worth the amount it costs.

Once again: The quality is no longer up to scratch!
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other comments: the quality has really gone downhill. I tried out another organic litter in the meantime to maybe save some money, but that was a complete waste of time, so I switched back... And now? The litter falls apart more quickly because the fibres are somehow coarser, it smells worse... I honestly don’t know what wood litter I should use now :-(

What happened to the pellets?
I used to be very satisfied. For about a year now, I’ve been extremely disappointed. The litter has deteriorated massively. It clumps poorly, which leads to much higher consumption. The litter is dark and has completely changed for the worse. Such a shame, as it used to be the best and is now among the worst.

Quality has changed
We've used this product for years, unfortunately in the last few months the product has changed and it's now terrible. The original smart pellets were fantastic, now we're stuck with not having any decent liter. I thought I was going a bit mad until I saw all the other reviews corroborating what I thought! It's now very dusty, small and poor quality.

Clumping to weak
Smart pellets work, almost no tracking at all but, and it is a big but;
-you pay for this smart clumping but the absorption is so slow making the urine go through to the bottom of the litter tray making pointless the clumping as it won't shape or bond in a way to scoop it out. I'm afraid the previous reviews are honest.

Quality has unfortunately declined.
I’ve been using this litter for several years now and can only agree with the negative reviews. After asking the manufacturer why the colour has suddenly become so dark, the response was that it’s a natural product. Yes, but it was a natural product before as well... It’s true, it’s also dustier than it was about a year ago... Unfortunately, I haven’t found a better product yet, otherwise I’d switch immediately.

The price is right. Quality no longer is!!!
I used to be very satisfied with the litter until recently. I also found the price justified! It absorbed odours well, and the pellets that ended up outside the litter box were easy to clean up. Plus, it was extremely low in dust.
At first, only occasional deliveries were crumbly and dusty, with no trace of pellets!
Now, almost every delivery is like that!
I’m very disappointed and miss the old quality.

What on earth has happened to the quality?!?
We've been using it for over 5 years now. We never let the high price deter us because it was simply the best (we have two tomcats).
But what has happened in the last half to three-quarters of a year is beyond comprehension. The price has been raised weekly, while the quality has completely gone downhill. It’s extremely dusty, no proper pellets anymore like before, and neither odour nor urine binding works.
We’re willing to pay the now exorbitantly high price, but not for this quality.

Quality has deteriorated significantly.
I've been using this litter for 3 years and was always satisfied, even recommending it to others. But for the past 6/7 months, it's been nothing but bad. Either the entire 20-litre bag is made up of small pieces that usually only appear towards the end, or a bag doesn't clump at all. This means I have an extremely high consumption because the litter box stays damp. I'm currently looking for alternatives since the price has gone up significantly while the quality has dropped drastically. Such a shame.

Good wood shavings
I was looking for a wood-based litter because the fine stones in the flat always annoyed me when the cat had them stuck in her paws 😄. Then I came across this litter and ordered it for the first time. At first, I had doubts because I had read many negative comments saying it doesn’t clump, etc.
I can’t confirm that—I’m really impressed 🤩. It clumps well, hardly any smell, and finally no annoying little stones in the flat. I already love it!
