Exactly as descibed
It's a hay rack and a platform - perfect

Poor fixings and a bit flimsy
This looks good but in theory it's poorly made. When you put the hooks in it just tilts forward so the rabbits can't sit on it, you have to move the hooks off the batten and put them in the back to get it to sit straight. Can't be bothered to send it back so will have to make do!

Hayrack with Roof
The hayrack looks nice, but it's made from very cheap wood and poorly finished.

Excellent
This is ideal in my Skyline XXL cage for my two Guineas. Its the best rack I've tried

Too flimsy
My rabbits broke the lid off within a couple of days. It's not strong enough for purpose

Good product, durable and serves its purpose.
I hung the hay rack in a weather-protected area of the outdoor stable, attaching it to aviary wire. Since it tilted too far forward due to the hooks (as mentioned in other reviews), I simply pushed the hooks through the wire and horizontally placed a finger-thick stick through the hooks. It’s stable, hangs straight, and worked brilliantly. Now, after 5 years, the big one has chewed the lid so much that I need to replace the rack – I’ve bought the exact same one again.

need to move the hooks
the holes for the hooks are in the wrong place. they are at the front of the wooden strip so when hung in a cage it doesn't sit flat as the top hangs forward. you need to put the hooks at the top of the wooden strip then it sits perfectly. it's a great size aswel.

Flimsy balsa wood
I bought one of these for my rabbits and they managed to destroy it in 2 days. The poles are flimsy balsa wood and they chewed on them while getting to the hay and they disintegrated.

Just what I was looking for!
Lots of similar items to this on amazon with really bad reviews so was pleased to find this with good reviews. The quality is great. The rabbits have used it and the hay stayed dry whilst it was raining. Very good value for money.

Quite good
Slightly small capacity, needs to be refilled several times a day if you don't have an additional rack. Otherwise, great.

Saved on materials
I bought 12 pieces and am rather dissatisfied with the quality. The small screws don’t hold the lid in place. As a result, 5 lids were already off when I unpacked them. In the end, I removed all of them because adhesive residue is left behind when you take off the advertisement on top.
I coated the racks with epoxy resin and screwed them to the wall. Now they’re great! For the price, it’s okay.

Super!
Super hayrack, my rabbits love it. The lid is easy to lift off, but then my rabbits just sit inside and munch away.
Good material.

The lid is good, but the rabbits don't eat from the rack.
I chose this hay rack because it has a lid, which prevents the rabbits from jumping in and getting hurt. Unfortunately, my two didn’t like the rack very much; every time I filled it, they pulled all the hay out and only ate it off the floor afterwards.

Super crumb catcher ;)
Honestly, really great. Since there’s unfortunately always this crumbly hay that’s chopped up so small it falls through all the other hay racks, I’m really satisfied with this one. It can only fall out at the front, so it doesn’t mess up the whole flat. Plus, my fluffballs love using the spot as a lookout point ;)
A small "drawback": My hungry rabbits have already gnawed quite a bit off the lid, and after not even half a year, I’ll soon need a new one. But I think that’s okay... they are rodents, after all ;) The price is fair too.

Heurafe difficult to attach
The hay rack looks nice, but it can't be secured with the two hooks as it ends up hanging crookedly and no animal will sit on it. Additionally, it can't be attached to the cage because the long wooden beams get in the way of the bars and don't fit. I wouldn't buy it again and it's not recommendable!

Rabbit-proof, practical, but poor hanging mechanism!
A hay rack with a wooden board as a cover is definitely safer for rabbits that like to jump into racks and could injure themselves, and the additional seating area is a nice idea. However, unfortunately, the manufacturer has only stapled the wooden rail, to which the two hooks for hanging are attached. As a result, it broke off after a short time. Screwing it in would have been better. We ended up fixing it that way ourselves afterwards. I think two screws wouldn’t have made much of a difference, and the manufacturer should improve this. Otherwise, my rabbits and I are happy with the rack. Definitely better and safer for rabbits than those foldable racks for standing!

Best hay rack with lid
Very affordable and easy to attach to wooden back panels. The hayrack is mounted next to a platform. Thanks to the foldable lid, it’s easy to fill. The guinea pigs like to use the lid as a raised lookout point without dirtying the hay.

Good, but the screws don't hold.
We painted the hayrack with a toy-safe varnish after receiving it and then used it outdoors, exposed to wind and weather. The lid is great for keeping the hay dry, and the animals love sitting on it. However, the screws didn’t last long for us; at some point, the hinges just came off. We then screwed in new screws, and since then, the rack has held up well. It’s been hanging outside in the enclosure for several years now.
