need to move the hooks
the holes for the hooks are in the wrong place. they are at the front of the wooden strip so when hung in a cage it doesn't sit flat as the top hangs forward. you need to put the hooks at the top of the wooden strip then it sits perfectly. it's a great size aswel.

Quite good
Slightly small capacity, needs to be refilled several times a day if you don't have an additional rack. Otherwise, great.

Rabbit-proof, practical, but poor hanging mechanism!
A hay rack with a wooden board as a cover is definitely safer for rabbits that like to jump into racks and could injure themselves, and the additional seating area is a nice idea. However, unfortunately, the manufacturer has only stapled the wooden rail, to which the two hooks for hanging are attached. As a result, it broke off after a short time. Screwing it in would have been better. We ended up fixing it that way ourselves afterwards. I think two screws wouldn’t have made much of a difference, and the manufacturer should improve this. Otherwise, my rabbits and I are happy with the rack. Definitely better and safer for rabbits than those foldable racks for standing!

Good, but the screws don't hold.
We painted the hayrack with a toy-safe varnish after receiving it and then used it outdoors, exposed to wind and weather. The lid is great for keeping the hay dry, and the animals love sitting on it. However, the screws didn’t last long for us; at some point, the hinges just came off. We then screwed in new screws, and since then, the rack has held up well. It’s been hanging outside in the enclosure for several years now.

Difficult to Attach
My guinea pigs live in our former garden shed (which we lined with pond liner). We still needed a hay rack, and since the standard hay racks have to be attached to a cage grid, I decided to buy this one. The mounting materials were included, but unfortunately, they were designed for a cage grid again. So, I had to attach it to the wall with screws, which turned out to be quite complicated. But now it serves its purpose and even looks nice :)

Price is great, workmanship could be improved.
My guinea pigs have two of these hay racks hanging in their enclosure. However, I would definitely recommend adding a screw to the top left and right corners at the front. One of the racks once fell apart when I stuffed hay into it quite forcefully. With the added screws, everything holds up perfectly.
Other than that, you can't complain about the quality for the price.

hay rack
another good idea, however unless you have wide wire on your run this won't fit properly. had to attach extra wire at back to enable it to fit. Rabbit enjoys climbing onto the top. This is only suitable for small/dwarf rabbits as the top isn't very big. All said, would recommend product.

"Absolutely adorable"
I think the hay rack itself is very good. Attaching it was a bit fiddly, but it was easy. My little ones literally loved it to bits. They completely chewed through all the bars. Now it’s only used as a seating area.

Good for guinea pigs
I got the hayrack for my rescue guinea pigs, and it’s been well received.
It’s well-made and poses far fewer risks than a metal hayrack.

For guinea pigs it's fine - but not for dwarf lop rabbits
The only thing to criticise is the size. This hay rack should be offered in different sizes. For guinea pigs, it's still OK, I think.

Superb observation tower
Offers a great view - but it's crooked - needs a bit of adjustment.

It's ok
I have two of these hay racks in the enclosure and I'm very satisfied. My guinea pigs took to the racks straight away, and they definitely look better than the metal ones. I've had bad experiences with those before, so I'm really happy to have finally found one that's both functional and pretty.

Best hayrack I know
I ordered two of these hay racks for my small animals straight away. One is in the guinea pig enclosure, the other in the rabbit pen. The rabbits jump on it a lot and sometimes sit on the platform for a while. However, the seating board is clearly too small for slightly larger rabbits. With the guinea pigs, I think it's great because they can no longer pull the rack down and the hay stays clean. The workmanship is simple, but nails, etc., didn’t stick out.

It works!!!
When I had the hay rack in my hand, the small hinge at the top immediately fell off (a pin is missing to hold it together), no problem though, the hardware store is just around the corner!!
Otherwise, I think the idea with the seating board isn’t a bad one, let’s see what my guinea pigs have to say about it.

Once they're up, they're perfect.
Attaching the hay racks to the tightly meshed wire in the outdoor enclosure isn’t so straightforward, as the whole setup is too wobbly. The first bunny (and it wasn’t even the heaviest one) immediately toppled over along with the rack. After we used different, longer hooks and secured them properly to the racks, the three racks are now hanging securely and are being enthusiastically and frequently used by all 10 bunnies as vantage points and resting spots.
Thanks to the lids, the hay stays clean and dry.

Beautiful, popular, but the workmanship isn't great.
Got a hayrack for our two dwarf rabbits, and it's really good... However, as some previous reviewers have already mentioned, the workmanship isn't the best. But it's very popular, and the two have to work harder to pull the hay out. That said, two of these hayracks work better for dwarf rabbits than just one.

She's alright.
The hay rack is fine. I use it for my rabbits' enclosure, and it works really well there. However, I found it difficult to attach because there were only two hooks on the back. But the product itself is great!

I'm satisfied.
I ordered this hay rack for my guinea pigs and rabbits, and I'm actually quite satisfied. The rabbits really like using the platform, and the guinea pigs love emptying the hay rack and spreading it around – though to be fair, they used to do the same with the old rack too ;-)
