Chinchilla Sand
The sand is great, even for degus. I mix it with a bit of bird sand because it’s very fine. But it doesn’t create dust and is easy to sift through, so it lasts longer. The price is unbeatable too.

Bags are always full of holes.
The sand is flawless in terms of quality; the only issue is that the bags are always punctured.
As a result, the sand spreads throughout the entire box, meaning there’s naturally less content left in the bag...

Gerbils
I've been using this sand for my gerbils for quite a while now and I have to say, I'm very satisfied. The fact that it clumps quickly is particularly practical, as it means the sand can be reused multiple times if you sift it.
Additionally, I mix it with a bit of bird sand to combat odours. Because of this and the fact that the sand is, in my opinion, a bit too fine, I would actually only give it 4 stars. But at this price, you really can't complain. The price-performance ratio is definitely spot on!

Sand
I've been using this sand for my degus for 4 years now – they absolutely love it.
The price is also very good. Unfortunately, the packaging is often a bit damaged, which is why I've deducted a star.

The BEST!
After trying out so many different types of sand, I’ve finally settled on this one. It doesn’t create dust (unlike some cheap sand from the DIY store) and is unbeatable in terms of price! I order quite a lot of it for my gerbils and dwarf hamsters, who absolutely love it! ;-)

Not suitable for chinchillas!!!
This is quartz sand... It ruins the fur of chinchillas!!! It becomes greasy and brittle! Stay away if you want this sand for chinchillas!

Absolutely not recommended!
When the package arrived, there was the first surprise: the bag of sand had lots of small holes and was already half empty. When I offered the sand to my gerbils, I had to change it twice a day because it clumped immediately after they used it once. On top of that, it smelled awful afterwards. After a week, my gerbils looked completely scruffy, and their fur looked terrible overall. Additionally, the sand is far too fine and quickly gets into their lungs, which can cause serious damage. I would never buy this sand again!

Very popular with degus
I love bathing in it, and it's easy to remove fallen bedding or similar debris.

Perfect for gerbils
My two gerbils, Puma and Shay, love bathing. The sand makes their fur shine, and they’re in great spirits. The price and quality of this product are just spot on.

NOT suitable for CHINCHILLAS
Quartz sand is too coarse-grained, so the very fine fur of chinchillas gets literally ground down. The hair tips break off. So please only give your sweet chinchillas Attapulgus (= Attapulgite) sand!

Not so good
The only thing I find great is the price for this quantity. Ever since I put the sand in the rodent toilet, my guinea pigs have turned into little pigs again and are messing outside of it! Unfortunately, it somehow can't be undone anymore.

Super Bathing Sand
I think this sand is great, and so do my 8 dwarf hamsters – their fur has become beautifully shiny thanks to this sand. I’ve bought sand from other shops before that was definitely not suitable for fur care. So, brilliant sand at a brilliant price!

No chinchilla sand
Hi to all chinchilla newcomers. This is not chinchilla sand, please don’t buy it—for the sake of your pets! Instead, go for Attapulgite sand or Attapulgus sand, which is also available here and is much better (way better) suited for chinchillas.

Very satisfied
My gerbils really like the sand, and it doesn’t smell either. I’m very happy with it (and so are my gerbils^^).

Perfect for gerbils
The sand is nice and fine and lasts about a week with my four gerbils. Their fur looks great too.
I don’t understand why it says it’s for chinchillas now, as it’s clearly not chinchilla sand. Even a blind person could see that. Gerbil sand or hamster sand would be a better name.

My chinchilla likes the sand
My chinchilla "Otti" likes this sand; he immediately comes to bathe when he hears the sound of the sand trickling in, and he also enjoys being sprinkled with it. His fur is soft and, in my opinion, hasn't suffered any damage, and I've been using this sand for over 2 years. The only thing that bothers me is when Otti does his business in it—after a short time, it starts to smell like urine. Still, I think the sand is good.

We Five!!!
The sand is great, keeps our fur in good condition, and is very fine! Since the sand is in a large corner litter box, we get it replaced once a week!!

Smells bad and causes split ends
I can't judge how it is with other animals, but when hamsters have it in their toilet, it develops a terrible stench and doesn't clump properly either. So, it's unsuitable as toilet sand.
And since it's quartz sand, it's also useless for fur care, as it damages the animals' fur!
