Great
I can’t understand the previous reviews saying the sand smells bad at all. My gerbils have taken to it very well.

Bathing beach
The sand is, all in all, a fine thing, but one downside is that it quickly starts to smell (urine), so only four stars.

For dwarf hamsters - not chinchillas
If you value the fur coat-like appearance of chinchilla fur, under no circumstances should you use quartz sand—only the one made from attapulgite (so not this one). However, in nature, chinchillas probably don’t find attapulgite—what do they use for rolling around there?
Since most people care deeply about the fur, the manufacturer should rename this sand to "dwarf hamster sand." For them, attapulgite sand is completely unsuitable, as they tend to store parts of their food in the sand and unintentionally ingest some of it. Attapulgite forms fibres similar to asbestos. I don’t think that’s suitable for consumption.
Bird sand is absolutely unsuitable for dwarves, as they can injure their skin on the sharp shell fragments. This sand, however, is wonderfully fine and soft—it almost makes me want to be a dwarf hamster! At least mine loves bathing in it :)

no "Chinchilla" sand
This sand might be suitable for less sensitive fur or as bird sand, but not for chinchillas. Please only use quartz-free sand for these animals! It should really be prohibited to call this "chinchilla" sand. Zooplus should remove it from their range.

Smells
I find this sand not as good compared to other types I’ve tried before. In the past, I could leave the tray in the cage over the weekend in case of emergencies when I was away, as my family only took care of feeding and letting the pets out during that time—they never paid attention to the sand.
With this sand, I have to clean the litter tray several times a day with the same amount. Instead of clumping, it just absorbs everything. The result: the cage smells. On top of that, it feels more like bird sand rather than chinchilla sand.
Kind regards

My Rennies love it.
My guinea pigs love THIS SAND. I've tried different ones, but none were as good except for this one. Plus, it's very affordable. Really highly recommended!

Great sand for cacti ....
...completely unsuitable for chinchillas. Quartz sand damages the fur significantly, leading to matted fur, broken fur, skin irritations, etc. To all chinchilla owners: please stay away from this—for the sake of your animals. To the manufacturer: labelling it as bird sand, degu sand, gerbil sand, etc. would make more sense, as it benefits these species and does not harm them.

Cuddly soft!
The sand is great, really fine and perfect for my dwarf hamsters. Top-notch!

Unfortunately, a downside for Zooplus
I find it incomprehensible that the manufacturer sells pure quartz sand as chinchilla sand, and unfortunately, it's also baffling that the Zooplus team hasn't removed it from their product range long ago.
WHAT A SHAME!!!

Smells very quickly
I got the sand for my gerbils; it's nice and soft and great for their fur, but unfortunately, it starts to smell awful after just 2-3 days. Such a shame.

Excellent!!!
My gerbils love this sand. After trying a cheaper but coarser one, I ordered this sand again because they just covered the coarse one with bedding. Plus, with the finer sand, their fur looks noticeably better, and they bathe in it with great joy.

Quite a strong smell!
I recently ordered the sand because it was quite cheap and I wanted to switch from my previous expensive sand. But after just about 2-3 days, there was a strong unpleasant smell in my room. Such a shame, as I could have saved a lot of money.

My guinea pigs love it.
My gerbils and I think the sand is absolutely brilliant! However, I have to replace it every two days because my gerbils use the sand as a toilet as well as for cleaning their fur. On top of that, it doesn’t create any dust and is super affordable. I can only recommend it!

Strong smell
Unfortunately, after just two days, a very unpleasant smell developed in my hamster's sand bath, and at times the whole room smells. Additionally, it clumps so much that the hamster hardly goes in anymore.

My robos love it.
As the title already says: my robos (all individually) love the sand. But so do my other hamsters.
The only drawback is the packaging. The bags occasionally arrive damaged. That's why it's not full marks.

Good product
Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive completely intact. The delivery box was all dented, and the sand was spilling out. About a third was already missing. That shouldn’t happen!

suitable for allergies
Super Sand. Especially good if you suffer from allergies. The sand doesn’t linger in the air as much.
My chinchillas really like it too.
Hopefully, it won’t be discontinued again.

for gerbils
... very good. Hardly any dust, but like any sand, it should be changed frequently as the gerbils like to use it as a toilet. I previously used proper chinchilla sand, which was very nice and soft, but it was dusty and therefore not suitable.
