The salmon cream is praised for its soft texture, ease of use, and versatility in dog training and medication administration. While many pets enjoy the taste, some dogs show disinterest or experience skin irritation, possibly due to ingredients. The product spoils quickly if not refrigerated. Despite packaging issues, the cream is well-loved for training and mixing with food, offering good value and excellent consistency, especially for sensitive dogs.

Super
We took the salmon cream with us to dog training today. Worked perfectly. The cream is nice and soft and easy to squeeze out. We've had liver sausage tubes from the drugstore before, where both the tube and the liver sausage were so stiff that they were unusable. The salmon cream will definitely be reordered.

Great for medication
It’s used for administering medication and also for practice as a lick tube. Not as thick as liver sausage. Easy to portion, wonderfully creamy. We always keep it in stock.

Durability
My dogs love the salmon cream, and we prefer to use it during nail trimming sessions. It's actually too soft for hiding tablets.
A major downside, in my opinion, is that the tube spoils very quickly once opened – unfortunately, we've noticed this several times already.

Puppy hates it
Our staffy is not a fussy eater, but he can't stand this - the smell he has no interest in and when he does taste it, he doesn't enjoy it - such a shame!

Loved by all
You ran out of the ferret paste so we tried this after waiting a long time. It is loved just as much by the 5 cats and 9 ferrets and a polecat. Please get into gear and get this salmon paste back in stock all round. It's amazing!

Tiny dog Yammie...
Our dwarf hound mix needs tablets every day. A bit of salmon cream from the tube tip to lick, tablet goes in, more salmon cream afterwards, and voilà, the tablets are gone. He even comes running to the kitchen voluntarily every day at the sound of the tube.

Quickly cleaned up and great to handle
We have a small toy poodle and always mix a bit of cream into his dry food in the evenings. The bowl is always empty in no time. The tube is very practical because you can open it with a twist and everything stays clean (unlike with a tin, for example).

Tastes good, spoils relatively quickly.
The salmon cream really needs to be stored consistently in the fridge. On longer trips, there’s a risk that the cream will spoil if it’s not kept chilled.

The dog doesn't want the cream.
The cream smells quite nice, like salmon, and comes out of the tube easily (it’s not too runny!).
However, the dog has absolutely no interest in it—just sniffed it and walked away. He’s licked other salmon creams with much more enthusiasm.
Looks like I’ll have to give it away...

No fish smell!
Not sure I believe this has been anywhere near a salmon as there is no fishy odour at all.
Pup loved it though and we could hide her twice daily tablets in it.
Unlike other reviews we didn't have problems with package splitting.
However she developed really itchy skin which we only realised must have been the pate a week after we ran out & moved onto a different brand and the itching subsided.
I don't think she has a fish allergy so must be something else in the paste ingredients .

Poor packaging
The paste is a hit with our collie lab cross but the plastic tube has split down the seam several times leaving my hands and pockets fishy and sticky. A metal tube would be better. Probably won't purchase in a plastic tube again.

Salmon cream and poultry cream tube
We use the salmon cream and poultry cream for our Australian Shepherd – he really likes it during training and participates wonderfully. Highly recommend!

Super great
My dogs love this salmon cream. I always put it in their Kong. My dogs go absolutely crazy for it. It's also great for training. Top-notch!

5 stars
Perfect consistency, the tube lasts a long time (great value for money), ingredients are excellent compared to the competition, the cream is very well tolerated and seems to taste absolutely delicious. My young dog loves all three flavours of Tubidog!

Salmon cream is very high quality.
This salmon cream is very good. My chihuahua loves it so much. In the morning, I mix it into his dry food. In the evening, he gets wet food, which I also buy from Zooplus. This salmon cream is easy to digest and, above all, suitable for very sensitive dogs. His stool is normal with it too. My little one doesn’t get gas or stomach aches from it. Especially when dogs are so sensitive to food, like my Leo. It’s also perfect as a treat when we’re out and about.

Love in a Tube
All three dogs love the tubes because they're tasty!
I love them because they're super easy to close, very lightweight, and hardly any residue collects in the lid or around the neck.

Was not tolerated.
The other varieties, however, are fine! With the salmon cream, which is, by the way, very, very runny, all three dogs experienced severe diarrhoea after consuming it...

Salmon cream
Very healthy cream. It’s lapped up so eagerly. Perfect for training or just as a treat. Or as a reward. Always very well tolerated. My little dog absolutely loves it. We always make sure to stock up. Simply brilliant. A clear recommendation to buy. ❤

Changed recipe?
I have been using this a long while as I do rescue work and this was great.
Sadly the consistency has changed the dogs or ferrets in this house no longer like it much.
It also gets mouldy after only a couple of days yet if I keep in fridge they won't touch it at all.
Really sad about this as I used a case a month and can't find anything close to the original

Great idea for training a very keen German Shepherd
I bought these for training my German Shepherd who works hard but is also very KEEN when taking treats.
They work really well and as yet I've not had any butchered hands.
The only thing I was disappointed with is that 4 of the tubes were damaged and oozing paste when I opened the parcel, hence the star rating. Don't know of they were already damaged before they were sent or they were damaged in transit but they weren't padded in the box so I suspect it was in transit. Bit annoying!!
