The cat wand is a hit with our 5 kittens (9 weeks old)! The design with the large, realistic feathers is fantastic – much better than the usual wands and teasers with colourful artificial feathers, which often even bleed colour when they get wet with saliva!! This one really simulates prey in flight, and the very long handle helps a lot – our little rascals go absolutely wild, with nothing but a chaotic scramble for the "bird" ;o) Of course, like all the other wands we've had so far, this one doesn't last particularly long with such intense use – but at this price, that's fine. However, the stick isn't very well designed; it has to be assembled first, and it lacks a slightly thicker grip for more comfortable handling! That's why, unfortunately, I have to deduct 1 point. But overall, it's a very good purchase!!

I’ve never seen my tomcat like this before – as soon as I get the fishing rod out, he goes wild... he absolutely loves this thing.

I've never seen cats play so excessively with something before. They go absolutely wild and dash around half the house. Unfortunately, I can confirm the low durability. The feathers soon look like a plucked chicken, and the rod arrived already broken into two pieces. It seems the stick snapped, so I'm playing with a shortened version of the rod. For the price, though, it's absolutely fine, and I'll definitely order another one with my next purchase.

My two little rascals have already gone through two fishing rods. They’re both absolutely crazy about them. Great way to keep them busy. I’ll have to get some more soon.

My cats are going absolutely crazy... Bella growled at me for the first time when I tried to put it away ^^ However, the rod and the attachment of the feathers aren't very sturdy and I constantly have to fix them. So, one point deducted. Otherwise: very good!

This is absolutely brilliant! The wand does break quite quickly because the cats play so wildly with it, but a bit of glue fixes it (then the wand lasts a long time), and off you go. The wand is made of real feathers, which the cats probably smell. They go completely crazy and just won’t stop playing with it. They only play with this now, chasing after it even when they’re panting with their mouths open. They do flips, bite it, drag it away, and growl as if it’s real prey, just like in nature. You can clearly see their hunting instincts are triggered. Ever since we tried this wand, we haven’t bought any other toys. The cats simply can’t resist this wand! We’re absolutely thrilled! It’s so much fun for us to watch the cats play too! It’s worth every penny!

My cat went absolutely crazy for it. He plays with it non-stop, grabs it in his mouth and runs off with it. His hunting instincts are completely triggered by it. I've bought lots of toys for my cat, but after a while, they always end up getting boring. But this play wand is different. I can only recommend it. I even have to hide it after 10–20 minutes because otherwise, he just won't calm down and won't stop playing. I'll definitely be ordering more of these.

You have to assemble the fishing rod first, and it’s not particularly sturdy, but my cats went absolutely wild. After less than 10 minutes, I had to hide the rod because both cats were completely unstoppable and wore themselves out chasing the "bird". Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be ordering more, as the feathers surely won’t survive too many "attacks".

Normally, my six cats don’t play together with the same toy. That means I first play with one group and then cater to the needs of the "spectators". But it’s completely different with this cat wand. My six cats almost knock each other over in the garden chasing after "Bird". Sure, the feathers have slipped out of the holder a few times, but so far I’ve always been able to put them back in, and the wild chase continues. We’re thrilled. :D

I've never had a better cat toy fishing rod than this one!!! My cats go absolutely crazy as soon as I bring out the rod. The feathers on the rod make it seem like a real bird is flying through the room while playing, and my two absolutely love it. I actually have to hold them back and put the rod away because otherwise, they'd chase it until they drop!!!! Just brilliant!!!! Sure, like any other rod, it breaks quickly, but that doesn't matter to me in this case :-) I'll just buy new ones—what matters most is that my two little rascals have their fun ;-)

The bird toy is always a big hit with my cats – it never gets boring. Once you get the hang of it, you can create proper fluttering sounds, and it flies well because it’s so lightweight. Almost no cat can resist it. The long rod extends the range, allowing the cat to really chase after it. When it’s caught, the feathers get thoroughly chewed or licked first. You shouldn’t leave your cat alone with it, though, because apart from the well-known risk posed by the string, my tomcat also eats the feathers if I’m not paying attention. The feathers last quite a while if you don’t let your cats chew on them too much, and if they do come loose from the attachment, you can stick them back in. Besides, it’s not expensive. Since the feather part is attached to the string with a hook, you can also use the rod for other toys.

This cat wand is a great idea in itself; the bird imitation with the feathers really works. My cats literally went wild trying to catch it somehow. However, this wand isn’t built to last… The first one broke on the very first evening, and I don’t even have large, very strong cats—just Thai cats. So, in terms of fun, it’s highly recommended, but when it comes to cost-benefit factors, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The cats are both absolutely crazy about this play wand. That's the only reason it gets 3 stars. Unfortunately, the quality leaves a lot to be desired (as with almost all play wands). This one lasted a whole 2 days.

My cat is rather lazy when it comes to playing. It was hard to get her excited about a toy for more than 2-3 minutes. But this wand was an absolute stroke of luck. I've never seen her jump so high or run so fast as she does with this wand, and she keeps going until she's completely out of breath. Unfortunately, the feathers come out quickly, but they can be put back in.

Even my rather (play-)lazy tomcat dashes after the "Bird". Both of them are absolutely crazy about the new toy. A few feathers have already been plucked, but you can easily reattach them. For the price, you really can't go wrong.

All three cats love this wand toy. Unfortunately, they love it so much that it doesn’t last long. That’s why I’ve deducted one star. However, the loose feathers on a string are still great for playing.

Finally, a toy that my lazy Tinka actually responded to. Unfortunately, the item broke very quickly. The feathers came loose from the holder. Now Tinka occasionally plays with the individual feathers.

Super fishing rod, even gets my rather laid-back senior (17 years old) all excited :-) Very long rod, long fishing line, feathers flutter like a bird and even make fluttering sounds! Highly recommended!
