The newest favourite toy!
At first, I was a bit sceptical and only bought this play wand because my previous one had broken. However, after trying it out, I – along with my two cats – am absolutely thrilled with how much fun they have chasing it. Especially the way the wand makes it seem like a bird is flying through the room really seems to excite the cats. I would only suggest gluing the end of the wand, where the feathers are attached, into the other end of the stick, as the wand tends to fall apart otherwise. But after I glued it together, there were no more issues. The feathers also hold up brilliantly, even though my tomcat, in particular, chews and tugs at them quite a lot.
I can only recommend buying this wand!

Very delicate
The feather wand is great for the cats in principle...
BUT: the cats must never catch the feathers, as they are only loosely attached to the holder and can be pulled out easily... Today, we’re going to try fixing it better with glue and heat shrink tubing...
I’d rather pay €1 more than have to figure out myself how to modify the product just so I can actually use it for its intended purpose...

It's fun
My Ragdoll cat (19 months old) isn't a fan of every cat teaser, but the "BIRD" by Karlie has a certain entertainment value – watching it, then pawing at it, and sometimes even jumping after it, like on the bed – quite nice. The only flaw: the string that the feather attachment is fixed to twists very quickly, making the line shorter and shorter. The attachment should be more flexible. Otherwise, a fine toy...

From a cuddly ball to a tiger in 0.1 seconds!
This thing is brilliant, it seems to appeal to the most basic feline instincts! Our 3-month-old Maine Coon kitty often ignores toys bought especially for her, but the fishing rod is a hit! As soon as she catches sight of the feathers from afar, she goes absolutely wild. She could play with it for hours if her human didn’t eventually get a sore arm ;-) It’s also very cute when she tries to proudly carry off her "prey" in her mouth – but then there’s that annoying elastic band still attached – grrrrrr...

Best toy
My tomcat (8 years old) loves this toy. He performs the most amazing jumps, and when he catches it, he holds it in his mouth like prey. What's great is that the piece in the middle is clipped together. This means it comes apart but doesn’t break. So, my first wand (I ordered the 3-pack) has lasted quite a while already.

It's alright.
In terms of technology, it's a great toy. It imitates a bird well, but unfortunately, the feathers fell off at the beginning, and in the end, it completely fell apart. It lasted about a week. You can keep putting it back together, but even that doesn't hold up permanently, and it doesn't fly as nicely anymore.

Brilliant
I got the fishing rod yesterday. Brilliant. My furry friends were immediately so excited about the little feathers that I thought the thing wouldn’t survive. But it did ;-) Lovely fishing rod for little money. I’ll definitely get another one. Highly recommend it!!

The cats love them :o)
The quality isn’t exactly amazing, but the low price makes up for it. I can play with my tomcats for hours every day, and they never lose interest! The wand is nice and long, giving you plenty of freedom to move around, and the fluttering noise is an absolute hit! Admittedly, it only took about 2 minutes for the freshly unpacked wand to break at first... My two little rascals quickly plucked out all the feathers. But the feathers were easily reattached with superglue. Then the string snapped. By now (after 2 weeks), it’s already knotted together in six places, and the feathers are chewed up. I’ve just ordered a pack of three :-P My conclusion: definitely worth trying for the price!

Unfortunately...
The fishing rod broke within 3 seconds. My three cats, aged 1 and 2 years, found the "flying behaviour" of the feathers extremely fascinating. However, the rod is unfortunately so delicate that it was ready for the bin after the first use. Such a shame, especially since it’s not exactly cheap.

Sensational!!!!
My three absolutely love this cat wand – as soon as I pick it up, they instantly switch to hunting mode!
I’ve never seen this reaction with any other cat wand!
The only slightly less positive thing is that the feathers get "freed" relatively quickly, but with a bit of creativity, you can fix them, and then the fun can continue :)
So, from us, a clear recommendation to buy!

Super
This play wand was an absolute hit with my indoor tiger. As soon as I unpacked it, I could barely keep him in check. It's not always easy to get him excited, but this did the trick. Highly recommended!

One of the best fishing rods I know!
This play wand is an absolute hit with my cat. I've already ordered it for two friends as well and "had to" order more. Even the rather elderly tomcat of one friend chased after this wand. I can only recommend this toy.

Perfect
My three cats absolutely love this DaBird.
They’re totally thrilled and make incredibly high jumps.
The best toy we’ve had so far.

Great toy
Even my tomcat, who’s actually become quite tired of playing, loves the wand. It really offers a completely different play experience, as the long stick gives the feathers much more freedom!

Destroyed after 10 minutes
The fishing rod is great, the cat loves this toy. Unfortunately, it broke after just 10 minutes of intense play. The stick flew out of the attachment, the tube holding the feathers was immediately bitten through and came off, and the feathers fell out one by one. However, I was able to tie the feathers back onto the rod and make a temporary repair. For the price, the rod is unbeatable and, even in its patched-up version, it’s still preferred over all other toys.

The hit with our kittens!
The cat wand is a hit with our 5 kittens (9 weeks old)! The design with the large, realistic feathers is fantastic – much better than the usual wands and teasers with colourful artificial feathers, which often even bleed colour when they get wet with saliva!!
This one really simulates prey in flight, and the very long handle helps a lot – our little rascals go absolutely wild, with nothing but a chaotic scramble for the "bird" ;o)
Of course, like all the other wands we've had so far, this one doesn't last particularly long with such intense use – but at this price, that's fine. However, the stick isn't very well designed; it has to be assembled first, and it lacks a slightly thicker grip for more comfortable handling! That's why, unfortunately, I have to deduct 1 point.
But overall, it's a very good purchase!!

That's hilarious..
I’ve never seen my tomcat like this before – as soon as I get the fishing rod out, he goes wild... he absolutely loves this thing.

Amazing!
I've never seen cats play so excessively with something before. They go absolutely wild and dash around half the house. Unfortunately, I can confirm the low durability. The feathers soon look like a plucked chicken, and the rod arrived already broken into two pieces. It seems the stick snapped, so I'm playing with a shortened version of the rod.
For the price, though, it's absolutely fine, and I'll definitely order another one with my next purchase.
