Cats are going bonkers for this feather wand toy, with many owners praising its ability to engage even the laziest of felines. However, the string tangles easily, which can be a bit of a nuisance during playtime. Despite this, the toy remains a favourite due to its affordable price and the joy it brings to cats. Overall, it's a delightful addition to any cat's playtime arsenal, offering hours of fun and excitement.

Disappointed with new design
Cat dangler toy has long been a favourite with all our cats. Hugely disappointed that re-design means that, after just a few seconds of play, the string becomes a tangled mess and you have to stop and disentangle it. Hoping the manufacturers will revert to original design with metal swivel as the new version is no use at all for our lively and impatient Bengal.

Used to be fantastic now they're terrible
This used to be one of my cats favourite toys. I ordered more (as feathers wear out quickly) & didn't realise that the attachment design had changed. This affects the way the feathers move, they used to swoop in a bird flying motion, the new design just flops about & tangles. Please zooplus go back to the old design as this one is awful!

My cat loves chasing this
I have never seen my cat jump so high and I've never seen him get so excited with any of his toys before. Thank you so much.

Old design with metal chain bit worked
Why ruin something that worked great
This new design is rediculas, constantly tangles up
One swoop & it back to waiting for it to unwind
So so upset & really annoyed at who ever for this new plastic clip was the way forward
Can't be used all in bin
Cats are furious, this was there most bestest toy in the world!

Their favourite game
My two cats love it! The only downside is that they have strong jaws and the feathers don’t last very long. I regularly recommend the feather wand set. It would be great if you could buy a pack of feathers without the wand, less plastic that way.

Quality has really declined
We've been using this fishing rod for years, but unfortunately, with my recent orders, I've noticed that the quality has really gone downhill. The rod twists so much that it tangles itself up and gets shorter and shorter while playing. The feathers also don't last as long as they used to, and neither do the plastic caps. The way the fishing line is attached to the stick doesn't hold up anymore either. Please, bring back the old good quality!!!!

My favourite
The extendable handle gives you a wider range of play, even while sitting down, so the Wand doesn’t distract the cat (with shorter rods, sometimes he’d stop hunting the “prey” and start going after the end of the stick instead). The feathers float and fall really nicely – they’re not as sudden as balls and the like. Even though there’s no bell, which usually gets them excited with the sound, I think this is probably my cats’ favourite wand toy.

Basically good, but...
After 5 minutes, the first feather was out—what a pity! A purple one—definitely dyed, which really isn’t necessary, especially since cats tend to put everything in their mouths. I didn’t notice that when I ordered. The rod itself is fine, as far as I can tell after the first play session. You can swing the attached toy quite far. So, mainly because of the low price, it’s okay, but I’ve had better ones before and still do.

Be careful
The play wand keeps my two favourites active. Unfortunately, it keeps getting tangled up.
Don't use it without supervision! My cat wrapped it around one of her legs. It had to be cut because she tightened it even more out of panic…

The best fishing rod
The best fishing rod my kitty has ever had! She loves playing with it and goes absolutely crazy for it. She’s lost interest in her other toys – this one is definitely her favourite! 🐱

Gets tangled up
Unfortunately, the string gets tangled and twisted together after just a short time of play. Otherwise, it would have been really good since the stick is longer than on regular rods.

Used to be the best toy on the market, sadly not anymore.
I've used these fishing rods for years and they were always the toy that every cat I knew found interesting. I often gave them as gifts to new cat owners because I was so enthusiastic about them. Now, with a new kitten, I bought 3 new rods, but unfortunately the swivel has been replaced with a plastic thing that makes the string twist together after just a few swings through the air, and it takes about a minute to untangle it. Had to buy new swivels at the fishing shop.

Essential
I bought the three-piece set hoping my kitten would play with it, and I was surprised: he absolutely loves it. It's his favourite toy ever. He plays with both the full wand and when it's taken apart (just the bottom part as a stick, or with the wand assembled but without the feather part), and just hearing the sound makes him run to play no matter where he is in the house—he's already destroyed two of them!

Cats are addicted
I've got three tomcats and they've loved it from the very start. By now, the feathers are gone and only tatters are left, but my cats still chase after it.

Good cat teaser
It's basically good and was well received. Unfortunately, like most toys, it broke pretty quickly.

Bird fishing rod for cat
My cat loves playing with this toy. After a few rounds, she gets tired out. The advantage is the "telescopic" rod, which increases the range. The downside is the "lure"—the feathers get damaged quickly when the cat catches them. There's no option to buy replacement "inserts", even though you can unclip them. The price matches the quality. I recommend it.
