My tomcat just can't help himself!
It's true that the fishing rod doesn't last very long; the first feather came off after about 15 minutes, but I was able to easily put it back in.
I think if you fix the feathers with liquid glue, they'll last a really long time.
The price is absolutely unbeatable.
And it keeps my cat entertained for ages and provides loads of action! We're thrilled!

Cat Teaser Bird
Both of my indoor cats, especially the tomcat, really enjoy playing with it. The product is very sturdy for this price. The feathers have now broken off the rod after about six weeks.

Fun for 5 minutes
My cats had a lot of fun with this feather wand, but only for a very short time. Within the first 5 minutes, the feathers came off and were scattered all over the flat. In the end, I was left with just the wand and a piece of string attached to it. I initially ordered 3 straight away, and unfortunately, it was the same with all three. The quality of this product is simply poor, and charging £1.99 for it is overpriced.

Cats go crazy! Breaks quickly
My cats go absolutely crazy over this and start climbing over furniture and everything else to get to the feathers. Sometimes I have to be careful because the cat doesn’t watch where she’s running or jumping. On top of that, the feather tuft is fiercely defended with growling. Since this toy is so popular, my little one (not even a year old yet) managed to pull out the feathers during the second play session. Luckily, it was easy to fix. It’s also handy that the rod can be taken apart easily.

Not for every cat
The toy is great and my cats absolutely loved it. But... my tomcat managed to destroy the fishing rod within 30 seconds. Our lighter cat is still playing with the other parts. She’s not as big and strong.
Strong or heavy cats will break it quickly. But the cats really enjoy playing with it.

short gameplay fun
My tomcat absolutely loved the cat wand, but unfortunately, the feathers didn’t even last a day. Such a shame!

Favourite fishing rod, unfortunately not very durable!
Our Dina absolutely loves this artificial "little bird" and regularly goes completely wild over it. Unfortunately, the string comes out of the feather tuft after just a few days. Please contact the manufacturer about this issue!
That's why: only three stars.

I find the stick too thin.
Compared to the heavy attachment, I find the rod too thin; it feels odd. The gameplay is better with a heavier rod. Additionally, both of my tigers currently have a different favourite toy, which they sometimes drag through the flat as a whole – attachment made of raffia along with the rod.

Boredom be gone
My little one loves it! At first, I was worried it wouldn’t last long, but after more than 4 weeks of intense play, it’s still "alive". I’ve had to put the feathers back into the rubber socket a few times, but after that, it holds up for several more hours of play. For the price, it’s an absolute hit with our mini!

Great toy that doesn't last long
My two youngest cats absolutely love this toy, but as mentioned, the feathers in this rubber socket don’t hold up at all, so unfortunately it broke after just one day – such a shame because it’s really great...
I even tried to reattach the feathers, but it didn’t help.
What a pity.

Top
All my cats love playing with this wand toy, and it’s durable thanks to the replaceable prey.

Not recommended
This fishing rod lasts no time at all... haha... I went through three of these rods in two days and ended up picking up the springs... such a shame.

Unfortunately, it tears off.
I’ve bought this fishing rod several times because it really gets my cats excited to play, which I can’t say about other toys. UNFORTUNATELY, it never lasts longer than a day because the faux leather piece where the feathers are attached always tears off and rips when the rod is caught. Sadly, it’s designed in a way that it can’t be repaired either. I find that very disappointing. Otherwise, this rod would be a real hit!

She loves it
After initial scepticism, she's now fully on board and sometimes even grabs it beforehand. Unfortunately, the feathers break quickly.

Absolutely desirable, even if it breaks quickly.
Both of mine even unpack the fishing rods themselves :-) Unfortunately, they always break after just 10 minutes. Then I repair them again, add a straw (my BELOVED straws), and off we go again. :-)

Good idea but poorly executed
The idea is great, our two are playing with it like crazy. Unfortunately, as already mentioned (in the comments), the handle splinters, and the springs come off after just 5 minutes of play.
If that gets fixed, I would order it again.

poor quality
The cat wand was great in the sense that my tomcat had a huge amount of fun with it, but only for 10 minutes, as all the feathers except one came off afterwards :-( Even £1.99 is too much for that! Conclusion: High fun factor, but only for a very short time!

Great
Finally, a fishing rod that both boys can play with! Nice and long. The only downside is that the feathers come off quickly, especially the purple one... But they’re just as quick to put back in.
My boys were super proud that they managed to catch them while playing.

Play rod
Our tomcat loves this wand toy. It flies like a bird. He could play with it for 24 hours straight. It's not quite as sturdy as others, but it only costs €1.99. So, the feathers don't last very long, but I don't mind – wear and tear! We've bought several of them :-)

Favourite toy!
The favourite toy of our two. The other fishing rods with a mouse instead of feathers are now completely ignored. However, there’s one downside: the rod doesn’t last very long. The feathers come off relatively quickly. But for the price, that’s not too bad.
