I've got two indoor cats and have tried many litters over the years. I've always preferred wooden litter as it seemed to absorb odours better but the sawdust that inevitably got carried out of the tray was a constant pain to clean up and it made cleaning out the litter tray really messy. This litter is great - the same odour-absorbing qualities as wood pellets (in fact, probably even better!) but it clumps so it is so easy to clean out the tray and there is minimal spread outside the tray. A brilliant product.

I originally used the cat's best oko plus and was very happy with it apart from the dust and tracking (semi-longhaired cats). I moved onto this and those problems have vanished! There is no dust at all, no tracking (just a few pieces daily outside the box). And as with the normal cats best it has great odour control, clumping, is flushable, lasts ages and is compostable. I actually can't think of one bad thing to say :o)

I have never written a review before but after using others' people reviews to choose this product I think it is only fair to pass the message on myself - we have two cats and Cat's Best Nature Gold helped us to get rid of the constant smell and it is so easy to clean. I always make sure I order well in advance as I don't want to end up using anything else but Best Nature Gold.

best cat litter ive ever used, clumps, lasts ages,doesnt track much and best of all its flushable. It also seems to really reduce the smell from the tray, with other litters you usually get the 'pong' as soon as the cat has done its stuff.....with this you just dont. Ive used other flushable cat litters but found a lot of them were dusty and i ended up with dusty paw prints all over my navy blue sofas..with this no dust no paddy paw prints everywhere.Its also a good price if fact I cant recommend it highly enough!!!

This litter is great. It's a natural product, lasts a long time, doesn't smell and the clumps can be quickly disposed of in the loo instead of wasting plastic bags.

I've used MANY different types of litters, my favourite was always Catsan, but this beats them all. Fantastic odour control (even with 4 house cats), very easy to removed soiled litter and the cats got used to it quite quickly (mixed with old litter first). Only downside is it does track, but so do all the others (This it the only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5). I certainly won't change and I won't be tempted with cheaper ones either,not now I have found one that doesn't stink!

I initially got the normal cat's best litter and find it awful...tracking everywhere, doesn't clump particularly well etc. But this litter, for not very much more is the complete opposite....clumps well and doesn't track half as much and has the added advantage of looking a bit nicer.

After reading the reviews on this product I thought I would give it a go. It's awful! It smells of sawdust, doesn't stop the cat odour from the tray and doesn't clump well enough to remove lumps. This will work out really expensive as I will have to change the tray completely after only 3 days! The other clumping litters at the high price end are far better - the tray only needs changing completely once a week. I'll be sticking with Extreme Classic from now on!

My cat has medium long hair, she usually pees a lot especially when pregnant which left me completely changing her litter 3 times a day, this litter is good because it absorbs and expands and I rarely change the lot (only when disinfecting) Doesn't smell, unless the cat does a no2. I get quite a lot of trailing with her and wet litter sometimes gets stuck to her tail. Packaging is fine but delivery not - one of my bags was completely ripped due to something else piercing it and another had a hole in it.

When you first look at this product you think it's expensive, but it works out great value as it lasts so song in the litter tray. It clumps so well you can just scoop out what you need to and not have mess or urine in the litter tray, top it up when it gets a little low. Other cat litters say they are abosbant or clumping but this amazing. It has good odour control too. I have tried other litters but this one has to be the best, I have a Maine coon and 3 domestic cats and it is great for them all, esp the long hair, no mess.

We've been using this now for about a month and it's the best I've ever used. Before we were using the normal Cat's Best, which is also good for having no odour, but I found that it was too dusty and would track all over the house. It would get stuck in my cat's paws and then you'd find it everywhere. With this one you get all the benefits of Cat's Best but because the pellets are so big it hardly tracks. Of course you get a couple around the box here and there but it's nothing compared to smaller pellets or a sandy litter. And there is no dust for me or my cat to breathe in when moving it around. And no smell. It doesn't seem to last as long as the other Cat's Best (which lasted forever) but it's worth it to not have the tracking.

Having tried all types of clumping litter, this is the best. I have 3 Maine Coons and they love to dig. Yes this litter tracks, I think it would be impossible to invent one that doesn't, but it sticks to the fur a lot less than the ordinary Oko plus and is a lot less dusty, so healthier for cats and owners alike. best of all it clumps and that is wonderful for leaving a clean and non smelly cat tray. It's well worth paying the extra!

So I started out on normal oko. And then was at a cat show and they had the gold stuff on special so I picked some up. The guy there was saying you just put back in all the unused litter after each clean of the tray, but I think that's pretty grim so I use a 10l bag every 10 days (2 boys share a hooded tray). Anyway, prior to this I was using normal Oko, and it had to be switched out every week without fail and I found it got quite powdery and dusty in there. With the Gold, it lasts longer between switchouts, tracks less, and a lot less of the dusty stuff after a few days in the tray. This is good as my cats are black, and one digs to Australia when dropping the kids of at the pool, so he used to come out covered in the dust. Anyway, how zooplus sells it in batches of the 10l bag is perfect as I struggled a bit with the 40l of normal Oko.

I wish I could arrange a specific delivery day but I so love this litter I will put up with the inconvenience. It lasts a long time and the odor control is fantastic. The fact that you can flush it down is even better. I could not be happier.

First of all, I would like to say that after reading all the reviews, I just "BELIEVE" how simple you all are.... Of course you are going to get some sort of tracking... "Helloo" deal with it PEOPLE for god sake... Cats are what they are CATS... Keep fish instead. We have two male "Maine Coon" Fantasic...Superb... Maine Coon are semi long haired cat for those that don't know, this product is spot on... A1 We previous have used "Worlds Best cat Litter"(Far to EXPENSIVE for what is is!!!) and Oko Cats Best(both of which creates a flakey, powdery mist when scooping out!!!, WORST of all both of the litters sticks to the fur!!! Oh Dam... With Cats Best Nature Gold. NO STICKING TO THE FUR "DELIGHT" NO PROBLEMS WITH OUR DRAINS... "DELIGHT" (advise to simpletons who have written reviews on this matter, flush at intervals...dah) "NO ODOUR PROBLEMS" (just what expected when initially when any creature relieves itself... dah) " Highly Recommend this product.." To be used by sound minded people only.

I wrote the review below when my Siberians were still fairly small... Now that they have grown enormously (Siberians are amongst the monsters of the cat world, in terms of size & weight), the weight that bears down on their paws in the litter tray does make some of the litter stick, so some tracking has become an issue after all. Nevertheless, it's still a great product, and I'm not swapping - just didn't want info that I've now discovered to be slightly inaccurate to stay uncorrected on the site. With small dainty cats, I'm sure that what I said before holds good!

After having tried all sorts of different types of litter for my Siberians, this is undoubtedly the best (even better than the ordinary Cat's Best, where tracking was a desperate issue, although everything else about it was good). There is honestly NO tracking at all - we do get a few bits on the floor still, but that is through over-enthusiastic digging attempts to cover over the poo, not because it gets stuck to feet or fur, so we'd get that whatever litter we used. However, because the individual granules are larger than the average cat litter, they are also much easier either to pick or sweep up, and we don't have a carpet covered in tiny white specks all the time. It is wonderfully absorbent, so the clumps are easy to get rid of; it lasts for AGES, so is very economical (I reckon about half the price of even pretty cheap ordinary litter) and there is NO smell whatsoever. The fact that it's flushable is a boon too - although I must admit I still put some in our litter locker, as I don't want to overburden the drains. One of our cats was a bit reticent to use it at first, so I just added it bit by bit to his usual litter, and won him over gradually. Now he's quite happy with it and doesn't think twice about the thought of using it.

Oko's Best is still the best, (no smell, lasts for ages, great clumping, flushable!) BUT, as far as not tracking, I can say that it still gets stuck to the cat's paws and can be found everywhere, maybe a bit less than the original version, but still everywhere. Also, the pellets are bigger in size than the original Oko litter, and hurt more when trodden on barefooted! So, I will keep on buying the original, slightly cheaper, and overall better.

Great for eco-friendly people and easy to scoop(but not sure how eco-friendly the production method is to make it clump when wet??). Much easier to handle than non-clumping wood based litter. My cat does seem to get it everywhere but at least it tracks in pellet form and not sawdust everywhere like the non-clumping wood pellets. I have a long haired cat and it doesn't stick in his fur like the Oko-Plus flakes.

I've been using this litter for over 3 years, and this year, 2026, it's the fourth time I've come across 20L bags that don't clump at all and just turn completely crumbly and dusty. As a result, I have to remove double or even triple the amount of litter. Even though it's basically a great litter that I can only recommend, I'm disappointed by the quality issue I've encountered several times this year, which leads to extra costs that really shouldn't happen!

I switched from clumping litter to pellets a few years ago and never looked back. Pros: Creates less waste. Doesn’t form that hard-to-clean "mud" in the corners of the box like litter does. The smell of pee is much less noticeable! Cons: When they poop, the smell is more noticeable. But it’s just a matter of... cleaning. Similarities: It also clumps. Differences: It’s better to use a scoop with slightly larger holes so the pellets can pass through.

The quality of the litter has dropped a lot. It doesn't clump well. The urine goes straight to the bottom of the tray and sticks to it. The clumps break up into small pieces, which makes it hard to pick up the tiny granules during daily cleaning. After two days, you have to change all of it because it smells terrible. I thought I just got a bad batch, but for the past few months, every one has been worse than the last.

I switched from the regular Cats Best to this litter and I have to say, I don't understand the negative reviews. It mostly clumps well, doesn't smell, doesn't create dust, and hardly spreads around the area. My cats like using it and it's easy to keep the litter boxes clean with it. I’m taking off one point because after longer use it gets a bit crumbly and the clumps fall apart. Still, all in all, it's a good product and I can recommend it.

I've been buying this litter for almost 20 years, and in the early years it was really great. Hardly any dust (there's no such thing as a completely dust-free litter), nice solid pellets, but then it got worse and worse every year and also kept getting more expensive. That's it for me now. In the meantime, there's a great alternative available here on Zooplus as well.

Tried a smaller pack for the move (usually I use Original 40l) – it worked pretty well! 20l was just enough for a big box, and we'll see how quickly it gets used up. It definitely packs well, but as a result, you use more than with Original, though there's clearly less dust and spreading. I can't say yet if I'll order another one or not. The cat likes it, my cat is happy to go in soil outside or in bentonite. Maybe this is nicer for him since it's harder than Original.

I've been using Cat's Best litter for years, but unfortunately the quality has really gone downhill. First with the original (red bag) – it creates a lot of dust, which makes it unusable for a cat with asthma. The pellet version doesn't produce dust, but the clumps fall apart when you try to remove them. This means you end up using a lot more, since you have to fish out all the broken clumps. Plus, the pellets get tracked all the way into the hallway. Once I've finished my last bag, I'll be switching to a different litter.

Ordered a 20-litre bag but what's shown on the bag is 10kg, which is strange. Unfortunately, my kittens didn't like this litter because they were used to mineral litter.

There's no cat pee smell, but the cats track it all over the flat because it sticks to their fur. The pee falls apart or can be scratched apart really, really easily, so it's not hygienic. Because of this, it's very hard to clean.

I've used this product for several years. I really appreciate that you can flush it down the toilet and that it smells fresh and woody even though it's not perfumed.

We've tried lots of different types, but this one works best for us. It's great that the pellets are big, so our cat can't drag them out at all. Cleaning takes longer than with regular cat litter, but it's worth it. The metal scoop available on Zooplus is perfect for these pellets.

Especially for long-haired cats, it's an excellent product. Very little tracking. Absorbs moisture well. No litter box smell. Even with 5 cats (multiple trays). I've been using it for years and I'm happy with it.

It comes out of the box on the cats' paws, but you can put a mat down. It doesn't smell, it's only been three weeks and I have two cats and two litter boxes. I like the product.

They were great! But we noticed there are a lot of small pieces and it's sandy. It's a shame really, because now it's all over the floor, which didn't happen before. Unfortunately, the quality has gotten worse and the price is high.

I've been buying it for a long time because Sugus has asthma, and while looking for pellets with little dust, I found these. For years they've been great; I might find some dust at the bottom of the bag, but now there's dust from the very first time I pour it into the litter box. You can't lower the quality and keep the same price.

Excellent litter, clumping, no smell, economical, very good value for money. My cat loves it.
