Quality has declined
The product is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Like other reviewers, I have to report that the clumps fall apart as soon as you remove them from the litter tray. However, it’s still better than the cheap alternatives from the supermarket. I’ve tried a few of those and ended up coming back to Cat’s Best.

Very poor now
We've been buying this product for 12 years, but the quality has become incredibly poor. The litter practically turns to dust straight away. Such a shame. It used to be very good.

Very good
I'm using it for the first time, and it has "really" very little dust compared to other cat litters, where there's dust everywhere, especially in the toilet—just pure, heavy dust that you end up swallowing all the time, and I did too, as the room was filled with pure, massive dust. With this cat litter, we are all very, very satisfied. Pleasant scent, no dust in the toilet, like fresh wood—so pleasant, sweet is the fragrance, making you feel good. Highly recommended.

Best litter out
I started to use this litter when I became a registered Persian cat breeder. It is excellent and economical to use I have 7 Persians now as I no longer breed them and have no smell or dust or mess around the trays. The only problem I found with this litter was that when I had litters of kittens they tended to roll in it and get it in their coats a layer of wood chip over the top of this litter stopped this happening. Have used it for over 10 years now and wouldn't use anything else.

Every other cat litter stinks compared to this one. This has the least odor and lasts for ages. I won't use any other litter now.

Quality has deteriorated significantly.
I can only agree. The composition has been changed. The litter now resembles coarse sawdust and hardly clumps anymore, or the clumps fall apart immediately. Also, much more litter gets tracked through the flat.
I will probably start looking for an alternative.

Traps odors and easy to clean!
Best cat litter I have used so far. Traps odors quickly, easy to clean thanks to its clumping nature, and does not create unpleasant dust! And my cat has no issues with it which is the most important factor.

So impressed, I change the litter so infrequently now
This is so good at clumping, and does trap the odour well. Once you've removed the clumps, the litter is fully clean and dry again (unlike mineral litter I was using before). I go probably even more than the suggested 7 weeks between changing the litter, and the cat is still happy to use it. I find it helps to use A LOT of litter at once, I have a large tray so I fill it up quite a lot.

Gotten worse
We've been using this cat litter for a very long time and unfortunately have to say that the quality is getting worse and worse.
The odour control is still good, BUT it no longer forms solid clumps. Everything falls apart when cleaning the litter box. It used to be different.
We've now decided to switch to a different cat litter in the future.
In any case, considering the price, this cat litter doesn't deliver what it should.
Better to go for something cheaper straight away.

Best cat litter
I've been using this cat litter for many years now for my four cats. I had tried several others before but ultimately stuck with Cat's Best cat litter, and I'm still very satisfied. It smells very pleasant, clumps really well, produces hardly any dust, and is very economical. Of course, I also noticed that the granules have become finer. At first, I was quite disappointed, but I actually think the clumping is even better than before. I'll continue to buy it.

No longer recommended
It used to be the best cat litter for a long time, but that's no longer the case. Due to the new formula, the litter is too fine, barely clumps anymore, and doesn't absorb odours well. Cleaning has become problematic, as it now consists of thousands of tiny clumps. Sometimes our cats step into their own urine while using the litter box, which then creates quite a mess.
Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this cat litter and will be looking for an alternative.

Super
As a new kitten owner, I asked a friend about her choice of litter. Based on advice from online research, I had unfortunately bought pellets, but the chunks were too hard for the tiny paws.
I'm completely satisfied with the Cat's Best clumping litter. You can hardly smell either the big or small business, as the odour is well absorbed. The best thing, in my opinion, is that you can flush small amounts down the toilet!

3 cat household - Great in many ways
Overall better than biokat diamond since one of my cats always has diarrhoea. Clumps really well and there is minimal wastage. Smell is okay, not as nice as biokat, and I do find this tracks a lot more than biokat, but it really does manage diarrhoea amazingly, and it’s much friendlier on the environment :)

Used to be amazing but now tracks everywhere
I had been using this cat litter for many years with no problems. It absorbs all odours, clumps well and is easy to scoop. However, recent batches have been dreadful, the grains are small and dusty and my cat tracks this everywhere (she is short haired and I have a litter mat). Such a shame, it's bad enough that now I am trying other brands

Very impressed will always buy!
I can’t believe I never heard of this cat litter until a week ago! Before I was using wooden pellets and it needed to be cleaned out fast as the smell of cat urine filled the room and was non clumping.
So I looked for alternatives and found Cats Best original litter and the difference is amazing!
No smell at all! It clumps well so it’s very easy to clean out and can even flush down the loo, my cats used it straight away could be because it’s softer on the paws unlike pellets they felt sharp

No longer perfect after the new recipe
The best cat litter I've ever had. It only smells of wood, and the odour of waste is well absorbed. However, the formula has been changed, so the litter develops a sawdust-like consistency after about a day in the litter box. Naturally, this results in a powdery layer in front of the litter box, and the cats spread the litter around the house more easily. That's why I'm deducting one star. Please revert the formula back!

It's messier than it used to be
We have used this litter for years and it used to be great, with 5 cats we need a good litter! However they seem to have changed it. It's dustier than it used to be and the tracking is horrendous. I'm currently looking for a similar litter with better reviews.
