Shame
I’ve been buying Cats Best for many years as well. Some time ago, I noticed that the granularity is always different. If I was lucky, there were really large pellets that also looked quite light in colour. Then the product was really good! When the pellets were medium-sized and darker in colour, it was just about okay. BUT NOW, there are only tiny sawdust crumbs left!
Since last year, I’ve been using the Smart Pellets exclusively for my kittens. Unfortunately, it’s constantly out of stock.

Not accepted at all
My tomcat didn’t accept it in the end, even after a long adjustment period. I gradually increased the proportion of this litter step by step. But towards the end, when it was 75% of this litter, he stopped using the toilet. He tried, but then came out and licked his paw as if the litter was pricking him. I donated the rest to the animal shelter.

Great product but tracking is bad
We've stopped using this now as got fed up with the tracking! It's pretty bad for that but ticks all the other boxes in terms of flushable, odorless, clumps and lasts a really long time!

love it
Having always used cheap clumping cat litter, someone suggested I tried this. I love it, and the cats are happy enough to use it to! It clumps well, so very easy to pick up wet and solid stuff. It lasts so much longer than the cheap stuff to. Personally I wouldn't dream of putting it down a toilet as people say you can....not sure the water companies would agree with them. But I can find no fault with the product.

Something has changed...
We have used this cat litter for several years, and have been very satisfied with it.. until recently. Now it seems to have changed, and it tracks everywhere and sticks to our cat's paws and fur around his back legs. This is very disappointing, we are now seeking a better alternative.

No longer has the quality.
We've been using this litter for many years.
Unfortunately, its quality has deteriorated significantly and varies with every order – the grain size, the colour, and the clumping behaviour.
The last order hardly clumps at all; the mushy mass just falls apart.
Such a shame. We'll have to switch to something else.

Tracks everywhere
I read a lot of the reviews on here so was expecting this to be a good product but whilst it does clump well, it seems to get everywhere, more so than any other litter we've used before. It's no longer confined to the area around the tray, but through the house, so I won't be buying this brand again.

disappointed((((
Hello. I decided to buy cat litter from you, before I always bought it in another online store. Ordered, paid, received. I opened the package and was very disappointed. Firstly, it does not gather into a lump, but forms small lumps that are simply not possible to collect. Very dissatisfied with the quality, bought elsewhere and everything was always super. I bought from you and probably won't buy again.

Still the best
I don’t know how many times I’ve tried other types, because in my opinion the odour control had deteriorated. No matter which litter I tried, this one remains my favourite. It doesn’t produce as much dust, it clumps well, and the odour control is still better than with other types of litter.

Clumps well, but the litter gets spread all over the house.
It clumps really well, but the litter is now everywhere... especially after cleaning it... on the sofa... in every room! Awful! …and our litter box is in the bathtub. It used to be better!

It’s dusty, dusty, and dusty.
Apart from the fact that it gets carried all over the flat, the litter creates an unbearable amount of dust when removing the clumps! You can literally see clouds of dust rising. I definitely won’t be buying it again.

Love it
It does leave a lot of litter around the box etc but I expected that given the reviews I'd read. Compared to the cheap clumping gravel I used to use, this is much better value for money since I find that I don't need to replace it as often and can dispose of it down the toilet. It's so much lighter as well so I actually love it in comparison. I can handle brushing up the mess it leaves, no big deal. This also clumps a lot better and uses a lot less.

Cats don't like it or tolerate it.
I actually found the litter quite good as it smells pleasant, is very lightweight, and doesn’t get spread around the flat too much.
Unfortunately, my cat is reluctant to use the litter box with this litter and has become unclean since then, and the tomcat has developed a very bad cough after being in the litter box!
Such a shame, but it’s not usable for us like this...

Great stuff.
Used this for years. Lasts ages and we have five cats. Clumps/poop easy to remove and can flush down the toilet without blocking. Litter like new once clumps taken out. I use three large litter trays and fill them high (5 inches worth) then only need to top up once a week. Keeps the litter tray clean. Only annoyance is that is does track but the benefits outweigh that one negative.

Extremely dusty
The cat litter is extremely dusty. You can see it in the litter box as well as when cleaning it, when all the dust comes flying towards you. It absorbs urine well, but you can still smell fresh faeces. I’ll go back to buying the one for long-haired cats from Cats Best. It’s less dusty, and I had less of it scattered around the house.

Worst litter so far
The litter does absolutely nothing to combat odour, and since it doesn’t clump, cleaning it is even more difficult. It really reeks of faeces and urine. My tomcat spends even more time digging because he’s trying to cover up the smell.
The only positive point is that the litter is very lightweight and sticks less.

Worst litter I've tried
I only bought this because the cat litter i usually buy had sold out. I've had cats literally all my life and this is the worst cat litter I've tried. It's even worse than the cheap non-branded gravel cat litter you get from supermarkets. It's only semi-absorbant and the stuff gets EVERYWHERE even more so than other cat litters I've tried. I won't be buying again.

It used to be the best...
...unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly. It no longer clumps properly, and when cleaning the litter box, everything falls apart. The consistency now is more like sawdust and gets carried around everywhere. I’ll probably have to look for a new litter, as Cat's Best has become quite unbearable. Such a shame.

Not just Cat's Best
After trying around 30 other types, both the cats and I are very satisfied.
It clumps well, is very economical, and weighs less than conventional litter.
Odour control is also very good.

Satisfactory
I’m happy with the litter; it clumps well, is lightweight, and dust-free. Unfortunately, out of our 11 cats, only 3 use this litter – I couldn’t convince the others.
