What’s changed? Last 2 bags have been terrible?
I usually purchase the 40L bags, as I have 2 indoor cats. The last 2 have been terrible:

🔹Less absorbent (breaks up)
🔹No longer contains odor
🔹Tracks more
The first time I thought perhaps it was the bag, or how it had been stored, but twice!
At the time of posting this GB was in the middle of a heatwave of 30°. I’m wondering if the climate is having an effect. I’ll try 1 more bag, and if it’s the same, I’ll be looking to change products.

Not what it used to be
We have always used this for our cats as it was the best litter we had tried but the last 2 bags haven’t been the same. It doesn’t clump well anymore and it doesn’t hold the odours in. Don’t know why they changed it. Now I have to find another litter for my kitties. Has anyone found anything to replace this yet?

I used to love this product and also recommended to any friends with cats.
However, the last two bags have been very different. It does not clump at all anymore. All the contaminated bits of litter us spreading out to the whole tray meaning I now need empty it more frequently.

clumps well, is fantastically lightweight and clean looking compared to clay litters, and cats took to it right away - it does track a fair bit because it's light, but easier to see and sweep up than finer grained litters

Best cat litter I've ever used , we have four cats who have no problem using this and so easy to keep trays clean ......I can't find fault with this litter.....Fabulous

Quality has dropped
Been buying this stuff for nearly 2 years since Bob was a kitten. Originally it was amazing, clumps stuck together solidly and although it did track, it wasn't too much. But the last few months the quality has changed dramatically. Even Bob's small ping pong sized clumps fall apart when you get them out and the tracking is horrible, now the stuff gets everywhere. It is still decent at hiding smells hence the two stars but i'm trying to find alternatives now, which is such a shame.

Not what it used to be
We've used for years now and found it a great performer, and flushable too! However, the last couple of bags have been a let down as it now seems to be so dusty, tracks worse than it ever did and just doesn't clump particularly. We have finally decided to let it go and find an alternative product.
Best odour control, dust-free, but tracks everywhere
This is the best litter I've ever used for controlling odours. It's completely dust-free, which is great for keeping down the dusting chores. However, my two cats track it everywhere and they don't like stepping into it as much as fine clay clumping litters.

This litter used to be excellent thus I have used and recommended it for 12 years. However the last bag has litter in it of very poor quality: it no longer clumps and does not disguise the smell of cat urine any more. I am really disappointed with the drastic drop in quality

Doesn't clump anymore

as with many other reviewers I bought my last batch about month ago. As they have all indicated something has changed. This no longer has the great clumping ability it once did. Cats Best was my first choice litter, and it will be difficult to replace for another as good as "oko". I will maybe think outside the litter box and buy this and the pellets to see if that sorts the issue. If not, mmmmm.....???

Has stopped clumping. Doesn’t last up to 8 weeks as advertised. More like 2 because of the amount of contaminated litter that you can’t scoop out.

Somethings changed and not for the better
We have two British Blue cats that use the same litter box. They aren’t fussy cats and have used all the litter products without a problem in their owner’s pursuit of the ‘perfect litter’.
We’ve used Oko Plus before, thought it was good, a little tracking but manageable ... until this last order. Have they changed the product, it doesn’t clump at all, the wee balls break up when I try and get them out of the box. I won’t buy it again.

Change of formula?
I’ve used this cat litter for 10+ years and always swore by it recommending it to new kitten owners.
However over the last few bags it has definitely been changed. It longer clumps very well and does not cover the smell in fact it smells terribly. It’s with great reluctance I am changing over to another clumping cat litter

As it says. Brilliant
No smell (unless the cat missed out on covering the No2), and the urine lumps up nicely. Just top up when there's too little left in the tray! Yay!

What have they done?
Been using this for years and never a problem until the last bag arrived. Doesn't clump anymore and you end up with a mess everywhere, this also increases waste of unused litter to just get the broken clumps outs.
If its not broken don't fix it!

Lower quality
I've been using this litter for 4 years, and it was the best quality-wise. I never even tried to compare the price because it suited my needs perfectly.
But the last two bags just aren't the same, it doesn't clump anymore, the litter just spreads everywhere. I'll give it another month, but unfortunately I'll have to give it up.

Terrible!

Worsened quality

Totally gone downhill
I've been using this cat litter since 2020, basically since I got my cats. It was recommended to me and I was absolutely thrilled with it. Very practical, my cats like it

Change in composition?

Disappointment
