Product is brilliant but flase avertising .. 1litre which is volume normally liquids is equal to 1 kg so this 17.6kg bag is not equivalent to 40litres.. 17.6 kg bag equals 17.6 litres .unless you want to take in the density of cats best , but still just avertise stating what is on the packaging 17.6KG ..not equall or same as 40 litres ..

Bad purchase
Wanted to try something different... but unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad idea.
My cats refused to use the litter box with this litter, even though it has such a lovely wood scent.
I think I'll stick with Tigerino litter instead.

Has one from best cat litter to not fit for purpose.
After buying this litter for around 10 years. The most recent bag I bought can only be described as garbage. It does not soak up the urine properly and leaves the litterbox stinking. I will not be buying this overpriced litter again.

Changed for worse
This litter is pricey but I was happy to pay it due to its great clumping power. However, it has changed texture and no longer clumps but turns to a horrible mess like this porridge. Shame as it was great and now it's just average bordering on bad.

Significant drop in quality
I have been using this cat litter exclusively since 2020 for two litter boxes. The first time I bought a small pack at the beginning of 2020, I was absolutely thrilled! After that, I purchased 3 x 40L packs, and although I noticed a slight drop in quality, it still met my expectations. (3 x lasts 6-7 months)
I then bought another 3 packs and noticed a more significant decline in quality.
The clumps break apart quickly, and the litter starts smelling strongly of urine quite fast (even with daily cleaning).

Finally
I've been using the product for a week now for my ferrets. Most people know that ferret droppings are notoriously unpleasant-smelling, but thanks to Cats Best, the bad odour is almost completely gone. It could clump a bit better, but otherwise, I'm impressed and grateful, and I can understand the price range. I'm sticking with this brand.

Doubled in price
I really liked this litter for my 2 cats, but it has spiked in price so much, it really is upsetting. In 2021 I paid appr.12£ for a 20 litre bag, in 2022 it was approximately 15£ and now its gone up to 23£ per 8.6kg/20litre bag. On top of that the deliver drivers complain about the weight if you order 2 bags and usually these bags get here torn and the contents scattered in the box.

Thrilled
I switched from regular clumping litter. It somehow smells pleasantly like a forest. There's not even the slightest smell of pee, even when I have it in the disposal system and change it—no unpleasant odour comes my way. One of my two cats didn’t take to it at all and refused to use the litter box. I’ve now mixed it 40 to 60 with the new litter, and she’s happy again. I’ll gradually reduce the amount of the old litter. It doesn’t create any dust for me, and one of the litter boxes only has the new litter in it.

This litter used to be the best.
I used to recommend this litter and have used it for over a decade but it has now severely declined in quality to the point it's unusable, we started a bag and won't even pass it on to someone else or use it in an emergency because it is SO BAD. It stinks, as soon as it's used you have to empty the whole thing out because it doesn't clump. Our cats refused to use it after they peed in it once and the small bag literally lasts one or two days at most.

Dusts like hell
It was recommended to me because I wanted to move away from bentonite litter. Unfortunately, it’s extremely dusty!! When scooping, a cloud of dust always forms, and afterwards, there’s a layer of wood dust on the surrounding furniture. Such a shame, because otherwise, it clumps really well.

Cat suddenly not clean
I think the litter is great, I like the wood scent. Our tomcat suddenly started being unclean, so I used a different litter and had no more issues. It's a shame we can't use it anymore.

Terrible gooey mess that sticks to everything!
Small bag years ago was great so ordered a huge £37 bag thinking It would work in my robot litter tray. It’s not suitable at all as doesn’t clump and unused litter wont go down the holes fast enough to the clean section so all goes to waste. Thinking I will use a normal cat tray.It doesn’t work in a normal one either it just goes all gooey and shiny like syrup sticking to the tray, carpet and my cats so bad that my cats have chosen to “go” elsewhere! No longer recommended
Unfortunately, no longer recommendable. The litter no longer clumps, creates dust quickly, smells strong, and ends up scattered all over the flat. I’m very disappointed and will definitely not be buying this product again. It’s a real shame that feedback doesn’t seem to reach the manufacturer or is completely ignored. By the way, I’ve had cats for 30 years and am speaking from experience.

From top to flop!
I’ve had my cats for 12 years now and have been using this litter for almost as long. For the past year, I’ve noticed the quality has been getting worse.
It’s become dustier, and the clumping has significantly deteriorated. As a test, I used a different litter in one of the trays, and the issue with uncleanliness disappeared. To rule out coincidence, I switched back to Cat’s Best, and lo and behold, the uncleanliness returned.
I won’t be buying this litter again—such a shame!
