Can't fault this wheel, it is the quietest I've ever had for my hamsters. The 28cm is perfect for syrian hamsters. Very happy with all three that I have!

Honestly, i thought that it was going to be impossible to find a wheel that was affordable, attractive and SILENT! I have tried every wheel out there, trixie plastic wheel, silent spinner, pets at home wheels. This wheel is everything and more. The price is the best as amazon was asking for up to £30. My hamster Loves it! I didn't think that she liked running until i put this in her enclosure. If you want everything you could want in a wheel, get this. I couldn't recommend it enough.

It was horrible, all marked with blood inside and out! She recovered after 3 days. The edges internal and external are extremely sharp (I didn't think about it initially) Couldn't find a way to sand all flat.

You can not hear this at all! If you are looking for a quite wheel then this is for you! The noise is actually quite therapeutic when listened to! 10/10 would recommend!

This exercise wheel (27 cm) is simply brilliant. Quiet, species-appropriate, and also affordable. Our dwarf hamster has loved it from the very beginning.

I’m amazed, we’ve tried so many wheels over the years that claim to be silent but never are. I didn’t even notice our little ham was on this until my husband pointed it out. The only noise we can hear is the tiny pitter patter of his little feet! We got the 28cm version which is perfect as his back is nice and straight whilst running. It is large but well worth taking up the space!

I love the look of this wheel, its much more natural than the plastic ones. Its silent except for the sounds of little hamster feet which is great. However!! My hammie does so the occasional wee in this wheel. To avoid it soaking into the wood you can buy Plastikote - its around £3 and a non toxic clear paint to make this waterproof. (I got it in The Range shop)

After seeing other people saying how quiet it was, I thought this would be great as I keep my hammies in my Bedroom and I’m quite a light sleeper. It arrived and I thought it felt quite well made, and for the first night it wasn’t too loud, but afterwards it began to make some weird knocking and louder whirring noises. It’s not leaning on anything to cause the knocking, and now I’m quite disappointed.

Much bigger than I thought! Hamster seems to love it! Cheaper on Zooplus than anywhere else.

Maybe not a good wheel for chewers, but a coat of Plastikote can help that. This wheel is the quietest one I've ever used and I've ordered a second one for my other hamster. Looks amazing in the cage and you could customise it by painting it any colour you like (with animal safe paints). I love these wheels.

Brought this wheel and I was in awe of the the design and the silence of it. However, in just over a month the wheel had developed an annoying ‘popping/cracking’ sound that is distributed my sleep. I am furious at this as the price of this is mental for a hamster wheel too brake in just over a month. Thought Id invest in it as I thought it would be good and result in better sleep, however this was not the case. I don’t recommend unless you want to buy a new wheel every couple of months.

This wheel is fantastic. The build looks natural and fits very subtly into a hamster cage. It’s not like those plastic ones and it doesn’t rattle or thump against the base at all! Perfectly quiet with only the smallest woosh sound and patter of a hamsters feet. The only downside is that it can be quite splintery, so I highly suggest it’s coated with pet-safe varnish to both protect it from pee and keep it from splintering. The only reason this isn’t five stars is for that reason.

It is sturdy, and does spin silently, I barely know when hammy is in it. However, the inside is lined with cork. On day two he had urinated inside the wheel which was impossible to fully clean. After a week, he has now taken it upon himself to chew about a quarter of the cork lining out of the inside. I think I will try to replace with a plastic wheel now.

Best wheel in terms of silence and size. I love it other than 2 things. Number 1 it is not safe to use as it comes. It needs to be sanded down with sand paper around the edges as it cuts the hamsters feet otherwise and leaves bloody footprints so is dangerous. This should really be done before the item is sold. But owners have to do it. Also it would be good if it had a waterproof coating as this is standard when it comes to hamsters as most pee/poo in wheels. This is another thing i had to do.

Excellent value for product. Wheel is very sturdy and safe, my hamster absolutely loves it.

It does have a tendency to have a few splinters but you can file them off or coat the wood to make it last longer, Plastikote will stop pee sticking to it! It’s huge and silent so it’s perfect

Seems a bit broken when arrived. Also isn't stable but my hamster likes it so I cant completely fault it.

The exercise wheel is very nice, but it's very stiff. No hamster can manage it. Unfortunately, I can't use it like this. Such a shame.
