Whilst it is a great size for a Syrian hamster, it is very poorly made. The wheel sags forward on its mounting and consequently knocks against the base. I took it apart and put in a spacer to raise the height a little. This solved the problem for a few weeks and the hamster has been loving it. However, another knocking noise has now started and the hamsters feet make a lot of noise on the hardening Cork. My daughter is now sleeping with ear plugs! I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a great wheel for Syrians but only last's month's and then it drops and the wheel rubs on the the wooden stand. My Husband tried to fix it but it's impossible , which is such a shame. Also it can't really be cleaned with it being like cork inside .

I have brought a new wheel for my hamster and it was delivered and was completely broken! They also sent me the large wheel instead of the medium one up that I desired, it’s lucky that my dad had a few screws and WD40 ( and that it even fit in the cage 😂) I was saving for ages to save up the money for this item and I’m not happy on what came out of the box. - 11 year old.

lasted about a month before the wheel started to drop and there is no way to screw it back on

Had this wheel a few weeks and when first looking at it the wheel was wonky and now it’s makes a horrible knocking noise, I was expecting better from this wheel I wouldn’t recommend if you want to sleep at night

For the first 2 days this was a great wheel. Big enough, some what silent etc. Utility I checked at night, and there was blood all over the wheel. The wheel had ripped off my hammys nail, I feel so bad for him. This is probably very rare and it’s still a great wheel but just be careful.

Wheel warped, and leans forward so that it scrapes along the floor. I had to cut out a significant portion of the base to get it to function at all. 1 extra star because Zooplus support were very quick to respond, and provided a full refund

Looked good but hamster decided to chew all the cork up on the wheel, so we re-corked it and it done it again, this also happened with my other hamster. Would not purchase again.

First wheel was absolutely amazing - the second? Terrible. The back catches as it spins and the cork inside the ‘drum’ is badly cut to shape and I’m kind of worried my hamster will keep tripping. Got evidence as well. Super upset with this one, not really sure what to do. Can’t resend it back as my hamster is in need of a wheel badly as his old one can’t even be spun around, he can’t be stuck without a wheel for any longer. Would like a replacement sent out honestly.

I was so excited to order this when it came back into stock but honestly the quality is so poor. It’s very rickety and loud ☹️ I was struggling to find a wheel and this was recommended to me. When it arrived I spun it and I thought the rocking and noise was from the tag being attached around the moving mechanism at the back. I removed the tag and still the same. Not happy and I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

i chose this wheel because all the reviews were good and said that the wheel was silent and great. now they must either be deep sleepers or i just got a bad wheel. when my hamster runs on it , it tilts side to side as i have a syrian he is slower than any smaller hamster who could fall off it as they will go even faster. did i also mention that its not been painted over so not waterproof so it absolutley stinks would not recomend

Brought this wheel and I was in awe of the the design and the silence of it. However, in just over a month the wheel had developed an annoying ‘popping/cracking’ sound that is distributed my sleep. I am furious at this as the price of this is mental for a hamster wheel too brake in just over a month. Thought Id invest in it as I thought it would be good and result in better sleep, however this was not the case. I don’t recommend unless you want to buy a new wheel every couple of months.

Not sure if we have a faulty one but it’s far from quiet and makes a knocking noise when my hammie is running on it, he does seem to love it very much

I bought the 21cm wheel for my 3 mice. Wheel spins well, and there is no noise at all. But they chewed almost all of the cork off. It also sucks up urine and sometimes feces as well - makes the whole cage stink and it cannot be cleaned. I have to throw it out after only two months use.

Loved the look of this but my gerbils have decided it’s their toilet while they’re running. It absolutely stinks so I took it out to wash it and it’s broken in one place where it was glued because of washing so I’m going to stick to silent spinners now.

We bought the running wheel for our gerbils. On the very first day, the cork surface was already chewed up, and by the second day, it had fallen off because of that! The wheel wobbles and you can clearly hear it when they run. The wheel seems very basic. We wouldn't buy it again!
