Wheel warped, and leans forward so that it scrapes along the floor. I had to cut out a significant portion of the base to get it to function at all. 1 extra star because Zooplus support were very quick to respond, and provided a full refund

Not happy with this wheel it’s not very stable and the wheel its self wobbles

Looked good but hamster decided to chew all the cork up on the wheel, so we re-corked it and it done it again, this also happened with my other hamster. Would not purchase again.

I love the size of this wheel and it is great if sealed, the only problem is after a few months the clicking as it turned kept everyone awake even from downstairs, however, best out of all I have tried so will be ordering another.

First wheel was absolutely amazing - the second? Terrible. The back catches as it spins and the cork inside the ‘drum’ is badly cut to shape and I’m kind of worried my hamster will keep tripping. Got evidence as well. Super upset with this one, not really sure what to do. Can’t resend it back as my hamster is in need of a wheel badly as his old one can’t even be spun around, he can’t be stuck without a wheel for any longer. Would like a replacement sent out honestly.

Mu hamsters old wheel started drooping so was looking for a silent wheel. Purchased this with the reviews in mind but this is perfect! I was wanting a wooden wheel for a naturalistic set up and although yes the wheel looks like it flies out and back in with the spin it's still silent. All you can hear is the hamsters tippity taps from them running. Plastikoted it too. Just purchased a 21cm one for my new dwarf addition which arrives tomorrow. Definitely recommend this wheel!

I have ordered this product three times and each received a faulty item. the first order was under a friends name and the second i ordered myself, the third was a replacement for the second and that has came faulty too. wheel is very wobbly and loud on each one. i know they can be completely silent as i have a fourth i ordered off amazon a while ago.

Really big and quiet

A lot bigger than I expected, wobbled from side to side but my hamster won’t notice. Almost wouldn’t fit in my cage but I am hoping to get a new one soon.

Norman the hamster has been using his wheel for over 6 weeks. It is very quiet and he loves it. I thought it might need sanding but it didn’t. Norman has a habit of having a wee on his wheel. So it had a couple of coats of plastikote which was only a couple of pounds.

i’ve had the wheel about two weeks now and at first it was great but within this time space it has really gotten bad. it’s no longer silent as if it’s loosened and this is the second time this has happened with this product.

I have been doing a lot of research since getting my Syrian hamster (Cappuccino), I wanted to get him a really big wheel, however I struggled to find a big wheel for a reasonable price that looked natural. It came well packaged and is the perfect size for a Syrian (28cm), he’s getting used to it as he previously had a flying saucer wheel, but seems to like it. The only reason I marked it down 1 star is when it is moving it goes slightly in wards and outwards, however it is almost silent.

when I received my first 28cm wheel for gerbils it was good, nice and quiet. My gerbil runs a lot, fast and for long in it all the time. However within not even a month the drum came out of alignment and started dragging on the base and the post and started wobble so much that the gerbil fallen out of it occasionally. Zooplus sent replacement promptly (hands down good customer service). However, the replacement I received is disaster. Wobble more then 10mm - straight out of box - unusable

This wheel is almost completely silent! My gerbils are loving getting the hang of running in the wheel and it has provided a great source of enrichment and exercise for them.

The wheel came wobbly and badly finished but Zooplus have me a refund straight away.

Great wheel! Very silent, you can just hear their little feet running on it. Do have to coat in plastikote to protect it from wee etc. Great value for money!!

Brilliant. Very quick delivery. Lovely product my hamster loves it and I have peace of mind that her spine will not get damaged. It also look great in the tank .

i ordered 2 of these wheels after having one previously (which got ruined because i didnt cover it with plastikote). this time i did paint them with plastikote thinking everything would be fine but my mice decided to chew out the cork, so now theyre left with just the wooden base and nothing soft to run on. the cork came out of the other wheel immediately upon arrival too. not sure how to replace this and solve the problem, feel like i've just wasted £20. trixie plastic wheel is better imo.

I got the 28cm wheel for my short haired Syrian hamster. I think it’s a very good quality wheel at the moment but I have only had it for 1 week so I don’t know if it will be in the future. It’s not silent but it’s pretty quiet but like I said it could change once it gets older. There are only two problems which are that she peed on the wheel and it stained for a few days and you might need to sand it down because there are tiny bits of wood sticking out but it might be because she chewed it.

This wheel is perfect, my hamster loves to run in it. It has a slight wobble to it when in use. I've coated it in plastikote so that the Cork isn't ruined by hamster wee.
