I was so excited to order this when it came back into stock but honestly the quality is so poor. It’s very rickety and loud ☹️ I was struggling to find a wheel and this was recommended to me. When it arrived I spun it and I thought the rocking and noise was from the tag being attached around the moving mechanism at the back. I removed the tag and still the same. Not happy and I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

I have only had this wheel for a week and when it does work it is fantastic and almost silent but my hamster can only do a few rotations before it scrapes along the bottom of the stand and she can no longer push it around. It seems very wonky but I keep trying to straighten it to no avail. I may have a faulty one as I have only ever heard good things about it, hence the purchase. I have however been left very disappointed and now need a new one. Sadly I can’t afford to risk this one again.

this is a very good wheel for hamsters, although, i recommend covering it with the brand “plasticote” because my hamster has peed on my wheel and stained it. the wheel isn’t too noisy but it depends if you get a faulty one or not.

I received this yesterday and omg how happy I am! I ordered the 8 inch one for my hybrid dwarf hamster after finding his old 6 inch silent spinner was too small for him! This wheel is a good size for a dwarf I’d say but the larger sizes are also good for dwarf hamsters as long as they can push it! This wheel is pretty much silent- you can only hear it ‘spinning through the air’ and your hammys little feet running! 100% recommend for dwarf hamster!!!

This wheel is good- they have the appropriate sizes and it is very pretty and natural. BUT AFTER TWO MONTHS it makes the loudest noise ever. I had heard in reviews this before I bought it and decided that I would buy it anyway because I needed a quick fix, but I really regret it now. It bangs into itself and clicks a lot because my hamsters weight has been pulling it down and the design wouldn’t let you toggle and fix the axel as it is all incased in wood.

been wanting to get this wheel for a while now and wish I had got it sooner lovely wheel, really silent, and finishes my natural themed cage my hammy says 5 stars :)

i chose this wheel because all the reviews were good and said that the wheel was silent and great. now they must either be deep sleepers or i just got a bad wheel. when my hamster runs on it , it tilts side to side as i have a syrian he is slower than any smaller hamster who could fall off it as they will go even faster. did i also mention that its not been painted over so not waterproof so it absolutley stinks would not recomend

Ordered the middle size as I thought “there’s no way the small one will be big enough at this price” but the middle one is huge!! Unbelievably good value for money, luckily I have a big enough hamster cage to fit it in. Saw the same one other sites for a lot more. Wow, I’ll never go anywhere else my hamster products now.

Good sized wheel that runs pretty quietly. Our gerbils love it.

These wheels are fantastic, my hamster absolutely loves it and he runs much faster than in his previous wheel so I think it is more comfortable for him with the cork running surface. Very smooth and quiet. The customer service was also brilliant from Zooplus when I had a problem with my order, they were really helpful and resolved it very quickly. Really recommend ordering from this site.

Can't fault this wheel, it is the quietest I've ever had for my hamsters. The 28cm is perfect for syrian hamsters. Very happy with all three that I have!

Honestly, i thought that it was going to be impossible to find a wheel that was affordable, attractive and SILENT! I have tried every wheel out there, trixie plastic wheel, silent spinner, pets at home wheels. This wheel is everything and more. The price is the best as amazon was asking for up to £30. My hamster Loves it! I didn't think that she liked running until i put this in her enclosure. If you want everything you could want in a wheel, get this. I couldn't recommend it enough.

It was horrible, all marked with blood inside and out! She recovered after 3 days. The edges internal and external are extremely sharp (I didn't think about it initially) Couldn't find a way to sand all flat.

You can not hear this at all! If you are looking for a quite wheel then this is for you! The noise is actually quite therapeutic when listened to! 10/10 would recommend!

I’m amazed, we’ve tried so many wheels over the years that claim to be silent but never are. I didn’t even notice our little ham was on this until my husband pointed it out. The only noise we can hear is the tiny pitter patter of his little feet! We got the 28cm version which is perfect as his back is nice and straight whilst running. It is large but well worth taking up the space!

I love the look of this wheel, its much more natural than the plastic ones. Its silent except for the sounds of little hamster feet which is great. However!! My hammie does so the occasional wee in this wheel. To avoid it soaking into the wood you can buy Plastikote - its around £3 and a non toxic clear paint to make this waterproof. (I got it in The Range shop)

After seeing other people saying how quiet it was, I thought this would be great as I keep my hammies in my Bedroom and I’m quite a light sleeper. It arrived and I thought it felt quite well made, and for the first night it wasn’t too loud, but afterwards it began to make some weird knocking and louder whirring noises. It’s not leaning on anything to cause the knocking, and now I’m quite disappointed.

Much bigger than I thought! Hamster seems to love it! Cheaper on Zooplus than anywhere else.

Maybe not a good wheel for chewers, but a coat of Plastikote can help that. This wheel is the quietest one I've ever used and I've ordered a second one for my other hamster. Looks amazing in the cage and you could customise it by painting it any colour you like (with animal safe paints). I love these wheels.
