Beloved by all my cats, but not sturdy enough
I have bought 4/5 of these over the last several years. My cats have loved them, especially my chonkiest boy, Floki (6.5kg). They love to scratch and climb on top of it. Unfortunately, Floki's heft proved too mighty & very single one has broken. They've all broken in the same place, where the plastic comes away from the post itself. So if you have a cat that doesn't fling 6kg+ at them, definitely get it. If you have an enthusiastic large beast, it will not last super long.

This product is good for my 7 cats ,they love using and sitting on, only had a month and yes showing wear and tear but I expected that. We bought 2 and both well used.

Replacement String
If you require more string for this product search sisal online on a well known auction site starting with E ending in Y size 4 or 6mm 75m in length should do well for repairing it. I just used a glue gun to stick it on and
got the sisal to go all the way to the top. Thought this may help someone.

Need more screws!
Love this post but lost the screws in our last house move! The cat does sometimes prefer to use it horizontally, but since keeping him in until used to the new area, he is desparate to climb something! Please can someone remind me of the type of screws needed to secure the post to the base?

Could be a bit better
Product is good size, good balance but quality not so much. Rope is just stick to the top so after few months it's coming down and you can see a cardboard and material on the top is tearing apart. Anyway my cats like it.

the big post
I have 11 cats and they all love it, but the material on top is coming away from where the rope is. but all in all love it. My sphinx use it the most though.

Excellent size BUT
The sisal isn't wound tightly and it's a bit sparse. Had the post for a week and within a day of occasional scratching, there are big gaps and it's coming loose. However, our cat likes the size, likes climbing to the top and perching himself there so in that respect, it's a good buy. Will just have to replace the sisal myself.

tall scratching post
I bought this for my 2 birmans who are to big for the normal size posts, despite having floor to ceiling cat trees my male decided to start scratching the walls when he stretches. This has cured the problem, he can stretch, scratch and chase his sister to the top. Even when they are both climbing it doesn't wobble and they have a combined weight of 11 kilos! Fantastic !!

Great post.....but
My two large cats love this, it encourages them to have a good old stretch and since buying it they have left my furnishings alone. Only bad fault is the base, it is very flimsy and within one month of purchase their claws had ripped it to bits which is the only downside.

Excellent but not the greatest quality
My two Bengals love this, they use it to climb, bounce off it and sit on top. Great success. However, I noticed that after only a week of use, the cord has started separating. There is only one layer so by the cats hanging off it, the cord moves exposing bare column and I started noticing when they jump on it now it has separated, they don't get a good grip. I have a palm tree pole from zooplus which never had the same problem and they abuse it as much.
I think I will try to buy some cord and apply another layer by myself once it gets ruined. If they did this, this pole would be purrrfect

Almost perfect
Much bigger than I expected - although I was looking for something they could really stretch up on. Already the most popular scratch post in the house (I've got several). The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the sisal rope is a little bit thinner than I'd like and I suspect my Siamese boys will get through it a bit quicker. In the meantime they love it and at such a great price it'll be worth replacing when it wears out.

Great after some attention
The post is secured to the base by two bolts. On delivery, one of these would not connect. I thought I could fix it and zooplus gave me a discount as an alternative to returning it. While doing repairs I dumped 10lbs or so of dry sand into the shaft and put 6 self-tapping wood screws though the base. The result is ultra-rigid and stable even under the ministrations of 2 Siberian Forest Cats.
4 star as delivered, 5 as modded and 5 stars to ZP customer service for giving me a discount rather than insisting on return & replace.

The cats love it
Surprisingly good for the price. If the sisal rope had been thicker, I would have given this 5 stars, but thats nitpicking.
The base is quite large, which gives it its stability, however it is worth spending some time deciding where to put it!
Value for money I would say
