High hopes... sadly disappointed!
We've had a smaller version of a Zooplus scratching post that's lasted a few years. We thought we were upgrading with this larger one, but as others have said, it lasted days. The post itself is not as sturdy as smaller models, and the fur fabric that covers the top frayed within the first couple of uses by our kitten.

Very poor quality! Couldn’t resist even 1 week! Destroyed! Used only by kittens (3 months old Abyssinian).

Good size but not built to last
A great size post but the fabric on the top and bottom section is so thin it lasted 2 weeks with our two kittens and it's already ripped open to expose the wood underneath..also there is ZERO padding in the base or post so when they jump or fall off its straight onto a hard surface albeit covered in thin fur. Get ready to recoat it yourself with carpet.

It’s really good and sturdy and easy to assemble but the actual plush fabric on the top did not last a week with the cats claws

Good quality and sturdy scratch post
Having a large ragdoll boy, we need a sturdy scratcher. This one has a nice large base, and doesn't wobble when he's stretching up high on it. This is nice quality for the price.

Great for large cats
My big, talk, weighty ragdoll boy can really get a good stretch, scratch, and climb, without knocking this over. It has a nice wide base, which also gives it extra stability. We've got a new kitten coming in a couple of months, and I'm sure he'll enjoy it too.

Poor quality.
Looked great when it arrived. Cats love it. But the fabric on the top is too thin and soft. The cats have stripped it within days. The string area is still great to scratch but the top is now exposed cardboard and a mess.

Beloved by all my cats, but not sturdy enough
I have bought 4/5 of these over the last several years. My cats have loved them, especially my chonkiest boy, Floki (6.5kg). They love to scratch and climb on top of it. Unfortunately, Floki's heft proved too mighty & very single one has broken. They've all broken in the same place, where the plastic comes away from the post itself. So if you have a cat that doesn't fling 6kg+ at them, definitely get it. If you have an enthusiastic large beast, it will not last super long.

Perfect for large cats
I have 4 large house cats and they love this post. It is strong and the height allows them to get a full body stretch. They normally shred most scratching posts but this has really lasted.

This product is good for my 7 cats ,they love using and sitting on, only had a month and yes showing wear and tear but I expected that. We bought 2 and both well used.

A hit!
My cat who likes big cat things is happy to use this (in addition to our carpets…) I had to train him a bit to use it by holding treats up at the top so he would stretch up, but now he happily uses it on his own.

Huge Scratching Post !
I have a very large chonky boi and finding a scratching post for him has been impossible, I have given up buying him towers as he is too large and they end up falling apart.
This is a really good scratching post for larger cats and has a base that cannot be pulled over or moved, wort every penny!

Great value for money
I have two large ragdoll cats, so need a size appropriate scratch post for them, I ordered this one and was so pleased with the actual ‘chunkiness’ of the product, it’s great, happy cats, happy customer, great price too!

Great size and value
Ragdoll loves this huge scratcher, enables him to fully stretch whilst scratching (he is super long!) it’s very big so kept in a spare room in addition to smaller one in kitchen so he has one on each floor, 2nd one purchased and would buy again.

Good height but poor quality
Good height to encourage 2 active cats to climb and stretch. However within 3 months the fabric at the top has completely come away and has left the insides exposed. Get what you pay for I guess
