Actually great, but breaks quickly
Our cats absolutely love the wand toy. The way the feathers move on the long wand really resembles a flying bird, and the cats think it's fantastic. Even our old, lazy tomcat has had a lot of fun with it. But here's the big HOWEVER: The wand didn't even last an afternoon. The feathers immediately came off the plastic part, the string snapped in several places, and even after tying it back together multiple times, it kept breaking in other spots and tearing again. Conclusion: A great toy that doesn't last long and either needs to be constantly replaced or temporarily repaired.

Only 10 minutes of fun
This toy fishing rod is very popular with my British Shorthairs, but after 10 minutes, the fun was over. The feathers were all gone after 10 minutes. Such a shame.

Unfortunately dissatisfied
When I got this feather wand, I was initially very impressed with its appearance and handling. However, I quickly realised that this wand couldn’t withstand two fully grown tomcats for long. The feathers came off quite quickly when the wand was caught with their claws. After 8-9 play sessions, the wand was unfortunately done for. Even some feather wands I’ve bought at pet shops for €2 have lasted longer. I’m really disappointed with this feather wand, which only appeals because of its looks.

SUPER
I’m always on the lookout for new game ideas (and I usually make them myself), so I thought I’d give this fishing rod a try (or rather, let the cats test it).
I have 5 cats here, and what can I say... the fishing rod is a hit with all 5 of them!!! And yet, this rod is so simply designed. Truly brilliant. But you shouldn’t overdo it: my two little ones (4 months old) start panting quite quickly because they really wear themselves out, and for me, that’s the sign to put the rod away for a while.

Breaks too quickly.
My cats go absolutely crazy for this thing, but I feel like I've already bought about 100 of them, and within two minutes the feathers are out, or the whole rubber part with the feathers comes off.
I'll try the original now, maybe it'll last longer.

Lots of fun, but addictive!
I bought the fishing rod for my little Smoke British Shorthair tomcat, as he can't go outside but has a strong hunting instinct. However, his brother, who was originally a lazy indoor cat, has become fascinated by the rod. At first, I was overjoyed – finally, they were playing, running, and jumping. But then I realised: they no longer play with each other, only the feather rod is interesting. My previously sluggish cat is now constantly awake and occasionally becomes destructive in his playfulness. I hardly recognise my cat anymore, and that scared me a bit. In hindsight, I should have stuck with the paper scraps on a string – that worked too, and my wallpaper would have thanked me for it.

Favourite toy
For my "sloths", I sometimes try out new toys to motivate them to get a bit of exercise. "Bird" is an absolute hit!

Pure gaming fun!
Almost every time I order from Zooplus, I add at least two wands to my basket. My two cats absolutely love Da Bird. Unfortunately, Da Bird often breaks quite quickly, but at that price, it’s something you can live with. Even the laziest cat perks up with this toy!

Endless fun
My little one loves it! Flying high in the air and doing the most amazing twists and turns. He’d play with it non-stop if he could – once he’s caught it, he carefully places it on the ground and waits for the next round. I don’t think it’ll break anytime soon. I think the flight characteristics are brilliant!!! My older one finds it totally boring, but not everyone has to like the same thing.

Simply brilliant!!!
I have a Bengal and an Oriental Shorthair, so two very agile indoor cats. This play wand is a fantastic catch for both of them, as it’s not too easy to grab! The wand provides hours of fun and never gets boring!

Actually okay
Well, my little Maine Coon tomcat loves the toy wand and could play with it for hours; nothing else is more interesting to him... But as soon as he catches it, it breaks immediately, and he ends up with the individual feathers in his mouth, which I sometimes tie back onto the wand as best I can.
I would buy it for him again and again, but I make sure he doesn’t catch it too often ^^

My cats love this wand.
My two furry friends absolutely love this wand. It mimics the flapping sounds of a bird, and my cats are thrilled. They grab the prey and run off with it. The quality is very good. The wand is nice and long. You can, but don’t have to, assemble it to make it extra-long.

Best toy ever
Of all the toys I've ever tried, this is the one that absolutely blows my furry friends away. The two of them can spend hours playing with the Bird.
Absolutely recommendable and worth every penny, even though its durability is admittedly limited. I always buy three at a time and hide the wand in a high cupboard after playtime (otherwise, all the other cupboards get broken into 😉).

Super toy – unfortunately doesn’t last long
My two kitties absolutely loved catching this thing. Unfortunately, their joy didn’t last long, as it fell apart into pieces after just a few minutes. So, the cats should probably admire it from afar while it’s flying rather than actually catching it. Once they do, it’s doomed. Such a shame! That said, it’s still a good toy because my two kitties were totally crazy about it.

She's a popular one to chase!
Whether it's a big or small cat, both love the wand. The long stick is absolutely brilliant, and all the feathers are still intact (which really says something with our Ocicat kitten). Unfortunately, the stick's connector sometimes doesn't hold up when catching prey, but it can be reattached, and off we go again...

Great product
My indoor cats absolutely love this wand, and there's nothing better than playing with it for hours on end.
The feathers are a big hit, but unfortunately, the durability isn't great—after a week and several repairs, the wand is completely worn out. I only buy it when it's on offer. The original price is just too expensive for me, as my cats manage to dismantle the wand into its individual parts pretty quickly.

Very durable!
The furry friends are both thrilled, and what I particularly like about this play wand is that it has a very long reach. On top of that, it’s exceptionally durable – my Coonies have caught and "hunted" it several times, yet the feathers are still intact, and the spinning motion and flying sound still work perfectly. ^^

Update (still convinced!)
Of course, the feathers on my first cat wand didn’t last long either. But let’s be honest, we’re cat owners. These are wild, real predators that truly live up to their name. Personally, I didn’t expect the feathers to last long. If they had, I’d have a boring cat!
After the first total destruction (all the feathers ripped out of the holder and scattered individually around the living room), I proceeded as follows: I stitched and tied together other feathers I still had and the usable remnants of the wand feathers. Simply sew the feather quills together with regular sewing thread, wrapping tightly in between, then sewing again, and so on. It only takes a few minutes, and you end up with a sturdy "bouquet" of feathers that you can repeatedly poke into the rubber tube.
That way, the little ones can fight long enough to "catch the whole animal." Our three always drag their prey into their hiding spots, where I then have to retrieve it before the fun starts all over again. And if the rubber holder ever gives out, you can make your own attachment.
New feathers have already been ordered...
