I got the XL size as I have two cats. I chose this to stop litter scattering over floor as one my cats is a digger.

Hardly any crumbs from the litter end up outside, and it looks fantastic!

The best thing that could ever happen to us 😀! My cat used to always jump out of the litter box and scratch a lot, which meant there was always loads of litter scattered around. Since we got this one, we hardly have any litter in the house anymore! Absolutely recommend it. The quality is top-notch too, it still looks brand new after a year! Totally worth every penny and highly recommended!!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I have to for this product. I’ve had this cat litter box (2 units) since 2014 and I’m still impressed by the quality, usability, and handling. Even after all these years, there’s nothing to complain about. My cat (around 15 years old), who is sadly now without her friend (who passed away at 20), would surely agree with this.

We have a relatively small bathroom, so we were looking for a cat litter box that doesn’t take up too much space and blends well with the bathroom decor. We also wanted a litter box with a top entry. With Modkat, we found the perfect solution and are very happy with it. Our 12-week-old kitten took to it straight away. We hardly have any litter on the floor either.

Given the premium price range, one would expect to be able to purchase the lid as a spare part. Unfortunately, that's not the case!!! This cannot be called sustainable!!!

It was all new to me when I got my first kitten and bought quite expensive litter box with a door. I used to dislike it a lot and it was really difficult to clean. But the worse was the trailing or me watching my cat throwing the litter out when digging. The mess was just so annoying. I did much search and when found Modko I couldnt quite talk myself into spending that much money. But I finally decided to buy it and I am so glad I did. I will definitely recommend it!

After a lot of research and lots of time reading reviews I finally decided to buy it … first impression is great! The plastic is very thick feels very durable, size wise is big I know on pictures looks small but it’s not ! Am happy i get it ! So far looks very beautiful!

Can’t believe I bought this cat litter box in 2016 and yet it looks as new. It’s been used by three Ragdoll cats, although the older one no longer likes it as he’s so large and his weight is over a stone and he’s really too big to sit in it anymore. I’ve got a few boxes as I volunteer at animal rescue and like plenty of choices for the pets and this is by far the nicest one and easy to clean and discreetly sits anywhere.

Since I have dogs in the house, they were constantly sneaking snacks from the cat litter box and messing up the entire area. Then I came across the Motkat cat litter box and tried to make it appealing to my cat. For her, it was natural to start using it straight away. And look at that—it works brilliantly! The litter stays inside, and the dog's head stays outside.

There’s nothing to complain about. It’s just as easy to handle as I imagined. With the old standard litter box, it used to take me twice as long to clean it, just trying to get that annoying lid off. The Modkat is sleek and elegant in design, fitting perfectly in our bathroom. You can even handle it with one hand. The cat took to it on the very same day, and after 2-3 days, she had completely figured it out. She’s only 4 1/2 months old. Thumbs up!

Our two 3-month-old kittens have been using the toilet from day one. No issues with them jumping in. It looks great, and when you need to dispose of everything, you can take out the bag and carry it downstairs (which is definitely easier from the 4th floor than with a traditional litter box). The litter doesn’t completely fall off via the lid—a few crumbs come out with it. I might even get a second one.

The best decision ever! The cats took to the litter box straight away. Not only does it look great, there's significantly less (almost no) litter scattered around the box. I've already ordered another one. Absolutely brilliant!!!***

I have four of this litter trays.This is absolutely excellent product! What makes this product so practical is it’s great inner liners. Mine inner liner last over 3-4 months. My sister has hers over a year- as her cats don’t dig the hole before they pee and so she doesn’t have to scrape the clumps off the bottom of the litter box. They are beautifully designed and very practical to clean. It is practical to buy more inner liners so you can wash and let dry one while you place another one in.

In combination with the right litter, this is the best cat litter box. I use it with Tigerino Crystal XXL and no longer have litter scattered around the house! After 6 months, I replaced the insert, which makes sense when using silica litter. Both of my cats accepted the litter box right from the start, and the dog no longer has a chance to sneak a snack ;-)

Great for out two boys who like to pee high and the traditional litter box always had pee trapped in the join. This is easy to use and cleaner. I was looking at a cheaper version as a second but because this one has such a secure lid, crucial if the cat is to trust jumping onto it, I am forced to spend an arm and a leg on this model. Again!

We adopted an adult cat and, just to be on the safe side, kept her old litter box (hood without a door) set up alongside. Thankfully, she accepted the new one straight away. Cleaning is super easy, and with clumping litter – we’re currently using Cat's Best Original – nothing has leaked through the seams of the liner so far. Compared to the old box, there’s noticeably less litter scattered around with the Modkat, so we’re planning to get a second Modkat for the spot where the old one is.

My little Murphy, when he moved in with me at 12 weeks old, had the choice between a tray litter box and the Modkat... He didn’t use the tray litter box even once, only the Modkat... No cat litter scattered around the flat, and no smell either... Plus, my visitors don’t even realise it’s a litter box... always just this one...

Great product, though I had to repurpose it because, contrary to expectations, my cat completely refused to use the top-entry. I've now placed the toilet so that the entry is at the front. Möhre's old litter tray fits perfectly inside, down to the millimetre, and the scoop now sits on top. Perfect, better than before :)

Very happy with litter box. We live in a small apartment where it's difficult to hide the litter box. Agree that the Modko is a glorified plastic box however it's aesthetically pleasing and has reduced litter tracking so happy to pay a little extra. Unsure of how the tarp will age so might investigate using liners in addition. My kitten understood it straight away - all I needed to do was pop her on the top and she jumped in immediately and did her business!
