Best for cats
It's the best cat litter we've ever had. Everything stays in, and there's much less work for me!!!

Super great for Persian cats!!
This cat litter has saved us! Everything else, even the clumping ones, sticks to the fur, but these pellets don’t. I need a 20L pack for 6 weeks – I change it completely every week. No smell, and my tomcat used it straight away the first time. I can only recommend it!

Review of all used litters
I have a creamy Persian cat. Throughout his 3 years with me I tried the following litters:
- Applaws Nature's Calling: My favourite and best of all. Has a pleasant smell, traps odours well (but, have to admit, not so good as Cat's Best Oko Plus), clumps reliably and lasts long (I usually pour half of pack at once, so 2 packs of 6kg last for 1,5-2 months). It does track a bit though, but least of all the litters I've tried and sweeping/hoovering once or twice a week is enough. The only minus is that it colours my cat's creamy paws as it is dark brown.
- Cat's Best Oko Plus: It traps odours very well, lasts for long (similar to Applaws) and has no issues with clumping. However, this is probably the worst tracking litter I had. I had to hoover/brush twice a day as little bits stick onto cat's paws and fur and is spread everywhere at home. I didn't even use all pack, switched back to Applaws.
- Cat's Best Nature Gold: Tried once. The pellets are really large and this makes clumping not so effective. I bought it because it said that it does not stick to fur and is suitable for long haired cats. Well, those pellets did stick to my cat's fur and tracked a lot. Though it is environmentally friendly and eliminates smells for some time. But loose litter eventually becomes smelly and you have to change it.
- Porta Pine Wood: Good cat litter, would rank it 2nd after Applaws. It smells fresh and is literally dust free, leaves no visible marks. It lasts long, great odour control, clumps well and my cat loved it. However, it tracks quite badly, but not as bad as Cat's Best Oko Plus.
- Catsan Hygiene: Not good at all. Never bought again. Clumps stay wet for a long time making it difficult to remove from the box, and when they dry they glue to the box so that I had to scratch them off. Controls smell bad, tracks a bit and clumps of wet litter stick to the fur. It is dusty and caused runny eyes and sneezing to my Persian friend.
- World's Best (Green and Red): Not good. Advised by vet after using Catsan Hygiene. It is dusty and didn't improve my cat's runny eyes much. It clumps very well, tracks a bit. Though it stinks horribly, probably because loose litter eventually starts smelling. Thus, no odour control. As such I do not remember it lasting long.
- Tygerino Crystals Silicate: Used in an emergency when my order was late. Disliked bad smell. It also runs out quickly, one pack lasted for 3 days, tracks a bit.

Quality has dropped significantly
I've been using this litter for several years now. There's noticeably less mess in the flat, and the smell is much more pleasant.
Since May, however, I've noticed that the clumping has significantly deteriorated.
Normally, half a bag would last for two weeks. At the moment, I need a whole bag for two weeks. That's absolutely outrageous.
I hope the quality improves again because, honestly, there isn't really an alternative.

The bedding used to be better...
I used to be a real fan of CBNG. However, I have to say that I feel the quality has really gone downhill. The granules are huge, so the cats no longer enjoy scratching around but instead immediately leave the litter box, and the clumping effect leaves much to be desired. I also find that I need a lot more of the litter now since it doesn’t clump properly anymore, as I really want to remove every trace of urine from the box.
I hope the manufacturer somehow becomes aware of the customers’ dissatisfaction and returns to the usual quality.
Until then, I’ll be using CBÖP, although the litter ends up scattered all over the house with my long-haired cats...

Significant drop in quality
In March 2015, we ordered it for the first time and were thrilled with the really good clumping and economical usage. But since June, the quality has drastically declined; it sticks to the floor like a concrete slab. When you lift it, it breaks apart, and the floor is wet with urine despite a filling height of about 8 cm.
When the cat has used it once, we remove it, so it’s not due to repeated use. Because of this *slab formation*, we now need twice the amount of it.
It still smells pleasantly of wood even after a few days. However, at the moment, that’s the only positive point about this not exactly cheap litter.

Declining quality
For about 4 years now, I’ve been using this litter for my two Maine Coon tomcats and was always thrilled with it. Unfortunately, I noticed with the last delivery that the quality has significantly declined. If I buy clumping litter, I expect it to actually clump and not fall apart as soon as I scoop it out. This leads to the tedious task of searching for all the tiny mini-clumps. Additionally, when filled to a height of 10 cm, the urine now seeps all the way to the bottom and sticks like concrete, making it very difficult to dissolve in the toilet. It’s advisable to break up the litter that’s stuck so firmly to the bottom. I’ve ordered another 40L and hope this batch will return to its previous quality; otherwise, I’ll unfortunately have to look for a different litter. At this fairly high price, I expect the promised quality.

What's happened to the clumping?
Have been using this litter for about 3 years and all of a sudden the clumps are not holding together anymore! Just the last few months something seems to have been changed in the formula.
Has anybody else noticed same? It's not the same as before at all. Always used to be so easy to remove the clumps but not now, a bit of a nightmare to catch all the bits that fall off, sometimes the clump disintegrates altogether! I'm at a point of starting to look for another litter now. Still gave this 4 starts as it keeps tracking and smells down to a minimum.

Loss of quality
I actually think the litter is great, but the last few deliveries have been really disappointing. The litter doesn’t clump as well as it used to. I hope it improves again.

The best cat litter
Very good clumping properties, pleasant woody scent, excellent odour control, biodegradable...
I don't know of a better cat litter. The price might be a bit off-putting, but it's reasonable for this quality.

Unfortunately, I have to agree.
The litter was so great for long-haired cats, it doesn’t smell, doesn’t stick to their fur, and doesn’t get spread all over the flat. But for the past few weeks, the pellets have been getting smaller and no longer form clumps. You need loads of it for what isn’t exactly cheap litter. Very disappointing.

significant loss of quality
Unfortunately, I have to agree as well – the litter no longer clumps at all, and you need huge amounts of it. I have three Maine Coons, and it used to be the best litter for them: hardly any of it got spread around the flat, nothing stuck to their fur, it didn’t smell or create dust. Now I need 5x 20l per month, and with this new issue, I just can’t justify it anymore. I’m very disappointed and find it a real shame.

Quality has deteriorated significantly.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the recent reviews. The quality of the litter is getting worse and worse. The biggest issue is the lack of clumping. The litter no longer clumps at all. It crumbles immediately, and you end up needing huge amounts.

Unfortunately, neither economical nor particularly absorbent
Despite an 8cm thick layer of litter, the clumps still stick to the bottom in some places. Also, I've never had to dispose of such large litter clumps before. -> You have to keep refilling huge amounts.
I tried this litter because it was advertised as not sticking to the paws of long-haired cats – unfortunately, that's not true at all (at least not for my Maine Coon mixes). The difference compared to Tigerino plant fibre litter is minimal; the pellets are scattered around the flat just the same after half a day.
The only positives are the odour control and the fact that it doesn’t produce dust during the first week, which is quite annoying with Tigerino. These are the only reasons why I’m giving it 2 stars in my review.

Disappointing. If it says pellets on the label, there should be pellets inside.
The first bag was fine. The pellets were exactly as shown in the picture. When I opened the second bag (same delivery date, same packaging), it was just cutter. Not even close to the pellet size shown on the bag. That really annoyed me.
I don’t need the expensive Cats Best Gold for that...
If it says pellets on the bag, there should be pellets inside. FULL STOP

The Best
This is the best cat litter I have ever used and now always buy it. It is easy to deal with and to dispose (down the toilet). Highly recommended and Zooplus always has it at a good price.

My cats don't like it at all.
Based on the good reviews, I ordered the litter. My two cats don’t like it. They only sniffed at it and otherwise ignored the toilet filled with this litter. Therefore, I can’t give an assessment of its properties like clumping, odour, usage, etc.

Not so great.
Clumps poorly and doesn't neutralise odours at all! Not a good litter.

failed
Wanted to carry less and switch to natural litter. The cats accepted the pellets rather reluctantly.
Clumps okay, but smells awful after two weeks.
Had to replace everything...

Top-notch clumping litter
My cat and I are thrilled with this litter! It doesn’t smell, clumps really well, and I no longer need to buy tiny plastic bags :)! Since the clumps can just go straight into the toilet :)
Definitely recommend buying!
