Cat refuses to use the litter box. Switched back to bentonite litter after 1 day.

We've tried quite a few things now, but for us, this litter is the most effective. Hardly any crumbs in front of the cat litter box, it absorbs odours well, and the clumps are super easy to remove. Just make sure not to throw too much into the toilet – ours can't handle it, at least ;-)

My two Maine Coons previously used Cat's Best ÖkoPlus, but then we decided to try Cat's Best Nature Gold based on the reviews, and I have to say, I'm thrilled! My two cats took to the litter really well, nothing sticks to their fur anymore, and the flat stays cleaner for longer without stray litter everywhere. From now on, this is the only litter I'll be buying!

Miserable! Absorbs very poorly. Half of the urine seeps through to the bottom and sticks there, forming a concrete-like mass that's almost impossible to remove from the toilet. Not even worth half the price. I'm going back to Öko Plus; no issues with that one.

I have two Persian kittens and can only confirm that this is especially well-suited for long-haired cats. It doesn’t get stuck in their fur but still clumps well. Plus, there aren’t crumbs scattered all over the house. The standard version of Cat’s Best didn’t convince me as much as this one!

I have two large cats, one elderly who pees a lot and this is the best litter I have tried so far, it doesn't smell and the last bag I had lasted 4 1/2 weeks. As with the clumping I found it depends on two things, the style of the cat pee (yes there really is one) and how much litter is left in the tray. Both my cats leave different shaped clumps the elderly a cone shape the younger a pancake. If the litter is nearly used it doesn't clump so well so I know its time to change it, easy.

I’ve tried about six different types of cat litter now and have always come back to Cats Best Gold because, in my opinion, it’s simply the best. It’s environmentally friendly, easy to handle since you can just flush the litter down the toilet, it doesn’t smell as strong as maize-based cat litter, and it spreads less around the house (though I still have to vacuum everywhere for 10-15 minutes every day because quite a bit still gets scattered).

I never had any issues with my tomcat peeing outside the litter box, but after buying this litter, he absolutely refused to use it and kept peeing on the bath mat instead. Never again!

The cat litter is absolutely brilliant! It no longer sticks to the fur of my Maine Coon, and there’s hardly any mess in front of the litter boxes anymore. The sandy effect is gone, and that’s just fantastic! I can only recommend this litter, even though it’s a bit more expensive.

I'm overwhelmed, why didn't I try it earlier?!

Our Maine Coon breeder initially gave us Cat's Best Öko, which ended up scattered all over the house due to its lightweight and our cat's long fur. Now I've switched to Nature Gold, and what can I say? It has all the benefits of CBÖP AND there's far less litter spread around. Simply perfect!

I wanted to try out the litter because of all the positive comments! Well, my cats won’t use it... That’s one problem, and the other is that I wasn’t aware you need a special scoop for this litter! That would have been a helpful tip!!! Even with my fairly coarse scoop, I kept unintentionally removing a lot of unused litter because it simply wouldn’t fall through the holes.

have 2 ragdoll cats. Have used Cats best nature gold for a long while and am happy with it, There is no tracking and contains odours well but it doesn't seem to clump very well. will continue to use it as its the best for no tracking. Has it changed and why?

The best litter for long-haired cats. Nothing sticks to their fur or gets carried around the entire flat. Plus, it binds odours really well and is low in dust. Excellent litter. We don’t use anything else anymore.

This is still great for not too much tracking and keeping the smells down, but the pee clumps don't seem to set as well as they used to so it breaks apart and the whole tray ends up with bits of disintegrating damp litter mixed in. This is a real shame as I didn't see me ever changing and now I think I am going to ahve to start searching again :(

The best litter ever, I have 8 cats, no smell, no litter flying around or dust, BRILLIANT

I have always used Öko Plus cat litter until now. Our tomcat and cat used to spread the litter all over the flat. Now we've switched to this litter, and it's a blessing – no more mess in the flat, just a bit in front of the litter box, which is normal.

Up until now, we were absolutely satisfied with it. However, the quality has become extremely poor since around last quarter. The litter basically refuses to absorb urine, which has caused consumption to skyrocket. Let’s hope the current delivery bottleneck is due to fixing the poor quality and that Catsbest will produce the product in its usual quality again. Otherwise, Catsbest will simply be removed from our order lists.

I picked up Cat's Best Öko & Nature Gold at Futterhaus today. I'm absolutely thrilled with this litter (Nature Gold)! No more litter flying around the room, and it forms nice, compact clumps (that don't fall apart) which can easily be disposed of in the toilet. My two furry friends are also completely delighted and now only use the toilets with this litter. :)

Absolutely no smell however it's not as clumping as the reviews make out. If you pick out pee it just crumbles and goes all over the place. Also the pellets are just too big to use a scooper so lots of wasted litter. Would be top notch if it was more clumping.
