I don't know a better litter.

It hardly creates dust except when filling, smells pleasantly of wood, is nice and light. My cat Molly, however, finds it amusing to scratch for ages and throw out a lot of litter in the process. She likes this litter so much that when she once had a different one, she stopped using the litter box altogether.

Smells really good and definitely feels better than conventional clumping litter. My cat had to get used to it at first, but now she likes it. It's also great for older cats who might not like standing on hard litter. I would definitely buy it again.

I have tried all sorts of premium cat litters (corn clumping and clay non-clumping). This one is the best so far. No smell! I have three cats. :)

I used it for at least 10 years; it was the best litter I had found. The contents of the latest bag are dusty, don’t clump, and disintegrate into fine dust in the litter tray in no time. Such a shame, I’ll have to look for an alternative.

Love this cat litter. It clumps well and can be easily scooped and dispose of in your toilet.

We got this litter for two kittens that were just a few weeks old from an animal rescue. The kittens started using the litter without any issues from day one. The clumping and disposal in the toilet work as expected. The litter also doesn’t produce much dust when pouring it in. Unfortunately, the odour control isn’t great because the kittens don’t cover their faeces but rather paddle around in the air. However, that’s not the litter’s fault. Overall, we’re very satisfied and would recommend it.

My two cats really like it; it clumps well and has a neutral smell. It only creates dust when refilling the litter boxes, but not when the cats use it. I think it's great and have been using it for a long time.

Best litter available. Clumps without waste. Stops odours and doesn’t spread outside the cat tray. One bag has literally lasted a month with 2 cats. Highly recommend this litter.

Simply an unbeatable product. Odour-absorbing and extremely absorbent – even if it's in the same room, you wouldn't notice there's a litter tray there.

Been using this litter for about a year and a half and it’s been great up until now. The last bag I bought you can tell they have changed something in it. It’s lighter in colour and the ‘clumps’ just fall apart into tiny pieces as soon as you touch them with the scoop. May as well be a non-clumping litter. So disappointed won’t be buying anymore

Very easy to dispose of, reduces odour development, clumps extremely well. I've tried other litter now and then, but I always come back to CAT's BEST Original litter.

It used to be a great product. Unfortunately, it *used to be*. Normally, you wouldn’t expect this at all. The litter no longer clumps, and it doesn’t absorb odours anymore either. After two days, the whole thing stinks, despite regular cleaning several times a day. What has improved is the price, because it keeps getting more expensive. Only the quality keeps declining. It’s getting worse and worse. I’ve used Cats Best for 16 years. Now, unfortunately, it’s the end of the road… really a shame because it used to be a great product.

I’m not happy at all. The litter does clump but it is so soft that if my cat goes for a second round with digging it will break and go all the litter box. It stick on my cat bum and on paws so as soon as she finishes and have the brilliant idea to jump on bed or sofa I’ll find the wet pieces of litter completely mashed on my furniture or floor when she seats. It holds the smell very well so at least a positive thing. I purchase it as much cheaper than catsan natural but not worth it.

clumps well, however, not very absorbent unless you deep fill the litter tray with this. My older cat (aged 14) is not very keen on this cat litter, doesn't seem to like to get it on his paws. Also, this cat litter gets all over the house! It is the worst one I have ever known for ending up all over the floor and being spread around the house via paws and feet!

I have to admit, I never gave Cat's Best a chance because it's very expensive. Now I had to try it out as there was no alternative for my 4-week-old kittens. I tried Catsan Hygiene Litter, but they didn’t accept it. A breeder then recommended this to me. When it was mentioned, I thought, oh dear, not that. Since there was no alternative, I bought it, and what can I say? I’m both surprised and more than satisfied 😍. All 5 kittens accepted it immediately and are already using the litter box. Brilliant!

This BEST cat litter used to be pretty good, but the last two bags are like powder, do not clump, stays wet, & I am forever sweeping up cat litter, it goes everywhere and now sticks to the cats paws. I won't be buying again, it's cheap rubbish. Now looking for an alternative cat litter.

The inconsistent quality of this basically good cat litter is truly unbearable. Sometimes the clumping is excellent, then other times it falls apart as soon as you touch it! For such an expensive product, I expect consistently good quality.

I discovered Cats Best about 15 years ago and was super satisfied with it, as were our cats. However, the same cats now refuse to use it and do their business outside, even freshly cleaned litter boxes with new litter are no longer used. The cleaning effort is enormous. We've since found an alternative. The uncleanliness stopped immediately, and everyone is happy again. We would have loved to stick with Cats Best.

I've been using this cat litter for years. Once the current bag is empty, definitely not anymore. It used to be solid pellets that absorbed odours really well. Now, after a short time, it turns into a dusty powder that smells. Not ideal for a cat with asthma. But there are Smart Pellets from the same company. I'll give them a try, though they are, of course, more expensive.
