Amazing
Really pleased with this, being using catsan for 10 years as nothing else really kept the smell away from as long (max 2 weeks). Was always sceptical about clumping litter but this stuff is the business. The cats seem to love it too and they are far quieter in the box. So far the odour has been far better than catsan - it smells a bit like a hamster cage, but I'll take that every day of the week over urea / ammonia smell that usually surfaces after a week or so.

Still the best!
There are pros and cons to everything, and the same goes for Cat's Best. Of course, the litter doesn’t clump as well as bentonite, but I don’t find that a problem. On the contrary, those concrete-like clumps you get with bentonite litter, which you then have to store in the bin, are unpleasant! Plus, cats occasionally step in their waste and leave grey smears (with bentonite) on the floor! None of that happens with Cat's Best! I also really appreciate the slightly larger pellets they’ve introduced recently!

It used to be better!!!
I have to agree with the previous reviewers – the quality has gone downhill! The litter no longer clumps as well, and what’s really inconvenient is that it doesn’t absorb as well anymore! The urine practically stays on the litter, and it looks like there’s a small puddle that doesn’t disappear! Whatever was changed is unfortunately not an improvement. I used to use this litter for my old tomcat, and back then it was really great. Now I’m wondering what I should order next...

Easy to Use
I have been using this litter for a while and I like it. I like the fact that it's a natural, plant based product. It clumps well and doesn't smell so I find the litter tray easy to clean. I have a covered litter tray and track mats and this keeps tracking to a minimum.

Quality no longer satisfactory
I can only agree with Sylvia and Marko's comments. I've been buying this litter for years and was super satisfied. It used to clump really well, so the cat litter tray was sorted in just a few minutes. It was also very economical. Since the formula change, the quality has been poor. The litter no longer clumps; instead, you just get crumbs in the cat litter tray that end up scattered around the house. I've now switched to Greenwoods and I'm happy with it.

Clumps well but tracks so use with other litter
Been using this litter for a while with our DSH cat and not much tracking until we bought our 6 month old Mainecoon kitten who's very furry tail and paws were tracking litter all over the house! I then bought a 10L pack of Breeder Celect paper litter to try (http://www.petsathome.com ). Sprinkled a thin layer of the recycled paper litter on top of the ‘Cats Best’ litter and both work well -very little if any tracking and great clumping. No odours, we clean daily and replenish fortnightly.

Great product
I was a bit unsure at first because of the negative reviews. But I have to say, I received a top-notch product. I bought the 20-litre version, and the pellets were neither damaged nor dusty.
My cat took to it really well, and cleaning up is super easy. And the best part: straight into the toilet and done! No more rubbish.
Until now, I’ve always used regular litter, and I’m so glad I finally found something like this.
I hope it becomes even more popular.

Unfortunately, it no longer clumps well!
I've been using Cat's Best for several years now. I was always very satisfied until suddenly the quality dropped significantly. Unfortunately, for the past few months, it hasn't clumped as well as it used to. When cleaning, the clumps break apart into lots of small pieces, making it a hassle to sift out all the bits. I've been putting up with this for a while because I didn't want to switch, but I'm really fed up now, so I'll be looking for a new cat litter.

Got much worse
I can only agree with the previous reviewers. Something has been changed in the formula over the past few months. The litter has gone from being the best to the worst. The clumps that form always crumble into thousands of tiny pieces, which can only be removed with painstaking effort. Once I’ve finally used up my last bag, I’ll be looking for a better alternative. Such a shame!

From the very beginning
I’ve been using this cat litter from the very beginning. It doesn’t smell in the flat, and the cats’ business can be removed easily. Although the cats do scatter it around the bathroom after using the toilet, we just clean it up afterwards. I’ve noticed that you should wait a bit after they’ve done their business before removing the clump, as it might not be firm enough yet to remove it in one piece, and it could crumble.

My experience
The litter is very good, but the amount in one pack isn't enough to fill a cat litter box.

It WAS cats best!
Have purchased this product for years. It was Oko Cats Best but name changed as did the product. Last 2 40lt bags were a great disappointment. Different colour, texture and odour control. Also my four indoor cats track litter all over the place. Why did they change the original formula? I do not recall any notification of when they did this or any reason why! Am due to order more cat litter but it will not be Cats Best sadky

Light and shadow...
This litter... It clumps well to satisfactorily, and you can flush it down the toilet. However, it spreads all over the flat, which is why I won’t be ordering it again.

Great cat litter
My cats take to it very well, and it's completely hassle-free to dispose of via the toilet.

Top-notch litter
The cat litter is fantastic. It controls odour brilliantly, clumps perfectly, and is convenient to dispose of in the organic waste.

Absolutely fantastic!
After reading some bad reviews. I brought the £7 something bag to try. And i can actually say its a really good litter. I had brought numerous ones to try as i have 3 cats. And one is unwell with very bad bowels! So the litter is always getting changed. But this has really held up great and i have now brought the 40l+20l saver pack. Not much waste. Dont really have a smell to it but does not smell bad. Honestly one of the best litters i have tried. Tracks abit but they all do ! 5stars

Very good for house dust allergy
I urgently needed to replace the conventional cat litter due to my youngest son's house dust allergy. After a long search, I came across this litter and decided to give it a try. Luckily, our tomcat accepted it straight away, and I was extremely surprised at how low in dust it is. By the very next day, there was noticeably less dust in both rooms (we have two litter boxes), and my son's allergic reactions had significantly reduced.

Was premiership level, now Sunday league
With 2 young ragdoll boys, found this litter perfect for the job of clumping well, preventing any bad smells and lasting very well. But WHAT have they done to the formulation. It’s useless at clumping up wees and mixes too easily into the unused litter, smell retention is measly. I would urge that Zooplus contact the manufacturers to find out if, why, when they changed the “magic recipe” and show them all of the recent reviews to see if they can change it back.

great cat litter
Looked for an alternative litter when my supermarket discontinued their own brand wood pellet litter. This is expensive but because liquids clump together and are easily removed it can be used for weeks & doesn't smell at all. I wouldn't risk flushing down the toilet but compost the used litter when changing. The only downside is it sometimes sticks to paws and gets scattered but this was mostly solved by using a hooded tray and I feel is a small inconvenience compared to the effectiveness.

Shame
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviewers. First, my Jeany started "digging" in the litter box, which for her means that she didn’t like the litter.
When cleaning it, I understood why – the clumps that were supposed to form weren’t there.
Maybe this could be changed again, please?
