I ordered this litter based on the reviews and regretted it straight away. The litter itself has a strong smell, which bothered me. It didn’t fade either. When the litter is in use (i.e., soiled), it stinks to high heaven—at least to my nose. It also spreads all over the flat. The clumps were... well, let’s just say they often fell apart when cleaning them out. I used it up, but I won’t be buying it again.

We have two tomcats and have been very satisfied with the litter from the start.

I've definitely tried at least 15 different types of litter by now, ranging from extremely expensive to budget options. Whether it's silica, eco-friendly, or bentonite. This is the only litter that stays fresh for several months (yes, you read that right). I just need to top it up and, at most, do a complete change every 3 months, alongside the usual cleaning in the morning and evening. Very economical, very pleasant in terms of smell. The price-performance ratio is fair. So far, it's the only product on the market that has completely won me over.

Odourless, very well received, binds well

I've been using this litter from the start, but I just don't think the price-performance ratio is right. It's not bad, it clumps and doesn't smell particularly strong. But that's only if you completely change the litter box every week. And then it really starts to add up. I'll be looking for an alternative.

I've been a cat owner for over 10 years and just bought this litter to try it out! Slightly woody smell, clumps brilliantly, and I can dispose of it in the organic waste bin! For me, one of the best cat litters!

The product has significantly deteriorated in quality! Recently, it no longer clumps as well and my little ones end up spreading it all over the house. I won’t be buying it again!

This at litter is by far the best I have used for my cats tray!! Having read several bed reviews, I was really surprised as this stuff really works so well. Especially for my cat who is now 16 and drinking more water and urinating more often, it really does conceal any kinds of odour especially blitzes the strong cat urine smell completely!!! I clean out any clumps daily and it’s also flushable litter, it clumps well and you can see where the clumps are for easy use of disposal.

My friend recommended this cat litter to me when I told her we were getting cats. It clumps nicely. Our cats got used to it straight away. It doesn’t smell unless you leave the cats’ waste in there for too long, but you’re not supposed to do that anyway. Overall, I’m really happy with it and have no complaints about the litter.

It used to be much better, but now it stinks really quickly, doesn’t clump very well, and there’s a lot of dust too. Wouldn’t recommend anymore!!!!

After the quality of the silica litter I had been using for years became extremely poor, I switched to Cat's Best. I mix Original and Smart Pellets 50:50. The litter clumps brilliantly, spreads less than silica, and is incredibly economical. Nothing smells, and you can dispose of it in the toilet – perfect! It's a shame I only switched now.

I really like this litter. We tried it out on one of the litter boxes first. It doesn’t smell, clumps well, and the cats seem to like it. The only downside is that a bit of it always sticks to their paws. We’re now going to fill all the litter boxes and see if it passes the ultimate test with two Maine Coons and two domestic cats.

The litter used to be the best you could get for cats. Now it crumbles easily, gets spread all over the flat, and no longer contains odours, which makes it smell absolutely disgusting in our home. Cleaning the litter box three times a day and changing the litter every week is a far cry from sifting once a day and changing it every two weeks – an incredible waste of material and an increase in costs. We are forced to switch. Such a shame. It used to be good.

Really pleased with this, being using catsan for 10 years as nothing else really kept the smell away from as long (max 2 weeks). Was always sceptical about clumping litter but this stuff is the business. The cats seem to love it too and they are far quieter in the box. So far the odour has been far better than catsan - it smells a bit like a hamster cage, but I'll take that every day of the week over urea / ammonia smell that usually surfaces after a week or so.

There are pros and cons to everything, and the same goes for Cat's Best. Of course, the litter doesn’t clump as well as bentonite, but I don’t find that a problem. On the contrary, those concrete-like clumps you get with bentonite litter, which you then have to store in the bin, are unpleasant! Plus, cats occasionally step in their waste and leave grey smears (with bentonite) on the floor! None of that happens with Cat's Best! I also really appreciate the slightly larger pellets they’ve introduced recently!

I have to agree with the previous reviewers – the quality has gone downhill! The litter no longer clumps as well, and what’s really inconvenient is that it doesn’t absorb as well anymore! The urine practically stays on the litter, and it looks like there’s a small puddle that doesn’t disappear! Whatever was changed is unfortunately not an improvement. I used to use this litter for my old tomcat, and back then it was really great. Now I’m wondering what I should order next...

I have been using this litter for a while and I like it. I like the fact that it's a natural, plant based product. It clumps well and doesn't smell so I find the litter tray easy to clean. I have a covered litter tray and track mats and this keeps tracking to a minimum.

I can only agree with Sylvia and Marko's comments. I've been buying this litter for years and was super satisfied. It used to clump really well, so the cat litter tray was sorted in just a few minutes. It was also very economical. Since the formula change, the quality has been poor. The litter no longer clumps; instead, you just get crumbs in the cat litter tray that end up scattered around the house. I've now switched to Greenwoods and I'm happy with it.
