I've been using this litter for years. Unfortunately, the quality keeps getting worse. The last delivery takes the cake... it creates endless dust and spreads all over the entire flat. Poor absorption.

For years, this has been my favourite litter, but the quality has dropped significantly—it hardly clumps anymore. I've now switched to a different litter.

Ordered based on the positive reviews, but it was an absolute failure for us. It has a woody, unpleasant smell (reminded me of a rabbit hutch) as soon as a cat steps on it, and even more so when cleaning it. The clumps fall apart. Despite using a covered litter box with a flap, it makes a mess in front of the box—and not just a little. For us, this is the worst litter we’ve ever had.

Clumps perfectly, doesn’t create dust, and you can throw it in the toilet... Simply brilliant!

I used to be super satisfied with this litter, but since my last order, the litter is SO dusty that I'm having lung problems. I have to cough up this swollen dust-mucus, and my bathroom is completely covered in this powdery dust!! What are my cats supposed to say to this!?! Every time I fill or clean the tray, no matter how careful I am, it ends up in a huge cloud of powdery dust!! UNACCEPTABLE!!

This used to clump neatly and stop smells brilliantly. Since buying a new lot I noticed it was falling apart instead of staying clumped and stinking the room out constantly. I then looked on the bag to find a note "new design same quality"...I do not agree. Change it back please. For now I need to find a new supplier. No different to most other brands now so not worth paying more. Don't bother.

Because my indoor cat kept peeing in a flowerpot on the balcony, I started looking for an alternative. That’s how I came across plant fibre litter. My cat accepted the litter without any issues. Clear advantages are the light weight and odour control. The downside is the size of the litter. It doesn’t sift through the sieve very well, and you have to shake it vigorously, which can cause the clumps to break apart. Overall, though, I’m satisfied.

I have to say, this cat litter has become like a surprise egg every time I open it for about a year now. Each time, it's a different colour and texture. The last one I opened left me particularly surprised – the litter is very dark, "anthracite", and is more like sand rather than granular. Of course, it hasn’t clumped as well as it used to for quite some time now. Such a shame. Since I still have some hope, I’m sticking with it for now, as the smell is still better than all the others I know.

We’ve been using this cat litter for years and are very satisfied with it. At our place, it’s used in various ways—for our two tomcats and for our lionhead dwarf rabbit mix doe. We can definitely recommend it, as there’s nothing comparably good out there.

Unfortunately, the litter did not meet my expectations and no longer deserves the 4-star rating. The individual grains are extremely coarse and barely pass through the mesh of the litter scoop. I use the scoop from the Litter Locker, which even has larger mesh gaps than conventional scoops. The clumping is also poor, with around 90% of all clumps falling apart in the litter tray. This resulted in a very unpleasant smell.

I was initially sceptical when my friend recommended this litter to me. But I was very satisfied and have been buying it for years now. However, it seems the formula has been changed. The clumps fall apart, leaving lots of small clumps in the litter. And the smell becomes unbearable after just a week (I scoop out clumps and droppings 2 to 3 times a day straight away). I'm now looking for a new litter.

I have to agree with the negative opinions. We also had another bag that was so dusty that I even contacted the manufacturer. Quality management sees no defect. I will be switching to a different litter!

The litter is great. It clumps well (you need to be a bit careful when scooping it out) and reduces odours. It does produce a bit of dust, so it’s not completely dust-free, but the advantages clearly outweigh this. I’m thrilled, and the kitten took to it straight away, even though it was used to a different type of litter.

We’ve been using silica litter so far because we didn’t want to scoop out clumps of urine. However, after 1.5 weeks, it already started to smell a bit strong, and after 4 weeks, it was really unpleasant. Now we’ve switched to this wood litter—although we do have to filter out both types of waste, you can dispose of small amounts of it via the toilet 👏🏻 No smell so far, we’re continuing to test it alongside ☝🏼

We've been using this litter for a long time and were always satisfied, but ever since we bought a new bag, it's been extremely dusty and no longer controls odours like it used to. Please go back to the old formula! This is just not acceptable. Now, unfortunately, we have to look for an alternative...

We've been using CatsBest here for years, and one of my tomcats won't use any other litter. Unfortunately, with the last few deliveries, we've noticed an increase in dust, the clumps are falling apart, and this leaves wet residue in the litter tray, meaning it needs to be replaced more often than before.
