Best ever.
After having used several other types of litter I have finally found one that can't be beaten. Cats Best Oko Plus is amazing value for money, easy to use, highly economical and does hide a lot of smells. The only downside is that it does track a bit but I wouldn't let that tiny fact interfere with it's ability. If you haven't tried it before now, what are you waiting for...

Comments on Cat's Best Cat Litter.
This is dreadful stuff. It gets caught up in the cats' claws and can be found in every part of the house. Mind you, the cats like it because they have great fun scratching up piles of it and spreading them in all directions. Nor is it particularly economical because it forms enormous damp clumps which have to be removed. Much as the cats will no doubt miss their fun, I am going back to Catsan.

So clean!
I bought this with hesitation despite the glowing reviews, as I've always used litter such as Pettex and thought this would be messy and not clump. However, it is a lot less smelly and so easy to remove the dirty litter in clumps. The remaining litter is clean. I'm using it in the Gimpet Deluxe dirt tray (also excellent) and although it is much lighter than Pettex and tracks a bit, I still think the plus points outweigh this. The best positive is that I can flush dirt down the toilet (with a couple of flushes). This has saved on loads of small plastic nappy bags filled with cat dirt being put into bigger bin liners...which then split under the weight.. as with four cats there is a lot of dirt! I just wish this litter was widely available in the UK, because as much as I love Zooplus, getting the huge 40L bag delivered can be a bit of a pain if you're not in or the bag tears enroute (which did last time but sorted out by zooplus). I may buy the smaller bags next time as it would be easier to store. Excellent product, highly recommend.

Cat's Best OKO Plus
Best cat litter on market. Clean and easy to handle, reduces odour, no allergic reaction. Highly recommend

The mess and the smell
I had been using cheap litter from from a value supermarket and an open litter tray for 1 adolescent cat. It wasn't too bad. Then I purchased a jumbo cat toilet from zooplus and some of this oko plus litter. Oh my god...after one use I was convinced my cat had gone to the loo on the carpet, because the smell was awful, I mean it couldn't have been any worse if he had done a poo on my lap. Granted it clumps and absorbs well, but does absolutely nothing for the smell. Perhaps my cat has more foul smelling poo than the other users, or something? Also it tracks everywhere despite having a grated catch tray at the exit of the toilet. It sticks to the paws, fur and every part of the the cat that touches it. I'm not surprised it got stuck in one user's cat's eye. My house is now a mesy smelly place. Fortunately my cat will always look to go outside to the loo before using the tray, but for a lot of people this isn't an option. My verdict..avoid and try something else.

Best litter I have ever used
Over the years I have tried every type of litter. Before trying Cats Best I tried ultra clumping clay litters. Some were OK but others disintegrated when removing the clumps. Somebody recommended Cats Best and I was skeptical but now use it for all 4 litter trays. It clumps very well and there are no smells (as long as solids are removed) As only the dirty litter is removed, it is very economical. A bag lasts over a month (per tray). It is also very light so easy to dispose of. They say it can be flushed but I don't recommend it as it can block the toilet. It is eco-friendly which is a bonus.

Wouldn't use anything else
This stuff is great. I have two indoor cats and the 10l bag lasts me just under two months. It has a gentle pine scent, which although subtle, REALLY covers the smell of any 'number two's! It clumps well and compared to the clay based clumping litter I used to use, really absorbs all liquid without congealing into a gooey mess. Love it!

The BEST on the market!
I've used this litter for over 2 years now, and with 7 cats around the house it has been a life saver. There is never any smell of urine, which is the main issue with cats, and as long as solid waste is well covered by the cat or cleaned out quickly there are no other smells either! It has a slight scent of natural pine wood, which covers other smells naturally. The house used to smell when I had only 1 cat and used clay-based litter, now with 7 and Oko's Best it's odour free! Tracking is an issue but a mat and normal daily sweeping/hoovering is enough to keep that at bay. And the fact that it can be flushed down the toilet is very ecological, and practical to boot! It lasts very long and it can't even be compared to other types of litter on value...besides, an odour-free pet home is priceless!

the cats whiskers
the breeder i got one of my bengals from recommended this and it's working well so far! it's quite good at masking smells, but bits of it do get everywhere everytime one of them pays a visit. it's user friendly for clean up jobs too. will definately buy again

Best Litter By Far
Have had cats since childhood and of recent years have tried many of the 'best' litters on the market. None can match Oko Plus. It clumps very well, is easy to clean and most important there is absolutely no nasty ammonia odour. Also has the added advantage of being compostable. A 10Ltr bag lasts a long time. I have been using Oko Plus for some time now and wouldn't use anything else.

Great litter, great value
This litter may be more expensive than some 'supermarket' grade products, but you need far less and it really does trap all odours. Highly recommended.

Better than "worlds best"!!!!!
We have too Burmese kittens and we have tried a number of litters (clay, corn, wood etc) including the one recommended in all the books ("worlds best cat litter"). The "cats best" litter is by far superior as it eliminates 95% of the smells, where as "worlds best" has a overpowering vomit smell to it after a first use!!! yuk! Cats best works is brilliant as it can be used in the same way, can be flushed, i am definately using less of it as it is ultra clumping and best of all it costs a lot less than worlds best!!!

Superb! best litter by a mile!!!!!!!!!
Cant recommend enough. This is the best litter i've ever used - no smell whatsoever, the clumping is excellent meaning its clean as all wee and solids are removed daily, and works out cheaper than other non clumping brands as it lasts longer AND DOESN'T STINK OUT HOUSE!

Brilliant, have 3 indoor cats, it's best I have tried, only negative is it tracks.

Good, but a lot of dust!
This litter works well with my two BSH kittens. They seem to like the feel. Very convenient to use. Clumps very well. Traps smell? Yes, up to a point, but there's no magic in this world! I found that, my cats like me to put a lot of litter down before they would use it. Needs changing completely once every 7-10 days.
Downside is that, there is a lot of dust with this litter, and I seem to be allergic to it. It tracks a fair bit as well, so I need to hover everyday.

didn't smell to help odor at all
one small kitten and daily scooping and the litter box had to be changed after 3 days...not convinced

Definitely the best!
Was a bit hesitant to try this due to cost but going by reviews I gave it a go and WOW! SO economical - a little goes a long way! Smell is non-existant (recommend a Gimpet Deluxe litter tray!) and now dealing with the litter tray has almost become a pleasure! Does track but a quick hoover/brush soon sorts it. My cats love it. TRY IT!

My first clumping litter and it's brilliant
I've never tried clumping litter before due to my own dust allergies, but have tried wood pellets, recycled paper, silica pearls etc.
I'm well impressed with this litter! Even after weeks there's virtually no smells, I scoop once or twice a day, clumps go straight into the toilet bowl, can't be more practical.
It does track a bit even with a mat, specially because my cat is long haired, but it just needs a 1 minute daily sweep around the box and it's done!

Planning ahead is worth it!
I have two housecats & have used lots of different types previously. As long as you plan your litter purchases then it's well worth it: far exceeds anything sold in supermarkets = less cleaning necessary & total value for money.
