Quite good
We have two male cats and have been fairly pleased with this litter. It clumps well and is absorbent. It does track a little, but what litter doesn't. We love that it is easily flushable and seems to last very well. I'm moving on to try some different litters to see if I can find something with slightly better odour control, and possible something slightly finer. May well be back though.

Amazing litter, terrible tracking!!
I tried this litter after reading the great reviews.
It really is amazing!
It clumps instantly after being urinated on and forms perfect 'balls' which are easily scooped out and flushed down the loo.
It has no smell and is of soft consistancy, nice for paws.
It is very economical and you hardly need to clean out the tray.
The only bad thing about this litter is that is tracks VERY VERY BADLY and i keep finding bits all over my couch etc. I'm now going to try the 'Gold' version of this litter.

The best cat litter I have ever found
It is simply brilliant, I will never by a cheap version again, may seem expensive but it goes a very long way

Amazing cat litter- worth the money!
I was a bit skeptical as I didn't think that a wood based litter wouldn't smell after a while and clump well.
1) It clumps!!! Better than any other cat litter I used before
2) It doesnt smell- i actually had to go check if she had used the litter box as it didnt smell at all!
3) You can flush it down the toilet!!! Very convenient!
Only downside is, that it does spread a bit and stick to her paws. Will see how it goes. Considering all the positive things, I think I might not be bothered too much-
Wuld recommend!

Great if you want to flush - but flush one scoop at a time
I thought I would give this a try mainly as you can flush it down the loo, oops somehow my daughter managed to actually block the loo and I had to get a coat hanger and help it go down, luckily it did go down but we were extra careful after to flush after each scoop. Its great IF you only have one litter tray and its right near the loo, otherwise you end up walking to and from the loo with scoops of soiled cat litter. So if you want this litter because you want to flush it then get it, its great BUT if youre binning it then Id get the extreme classic as it smells better and doesnt leave litter everywhere.

simply the best!
I thought this litter was more expensive than most - but it really outlasts all the others,so works out far cheaper. It cuts down smells too. There is a bit of scattering but no worse than other litters, big thumbs up.

Tracking isn't the best but for value, clumping & natural smell minising it's the best
see title.
Have been buying it for years & won't use anything else (ok I stretch it with value Fullers Earth sometimes but that's it)

Another Convert
I have to admit, I was a little sceptical. A plant based (wood looking) cat litter that clumps?
I've always prefered the plant/wood based litters as the odour of the tray always seems to be much better absorbed by them. However, the dust that got trampled around the house once the litter started to disintegrate drove me mad.
But this one actually does clump (& better than most clay based clumping litters too!) meaning that all the smellies can be removed from the tray with a scoop & flushed down the loo.
One week in and the litter tray smells just as fresh as the day it was cleaned out & this litter put in, so I can well believe the claims on the bag that the litter only needs changing every 4-6 weeks.
As for the tracking issue that other reviewers have mentioned, I've not noticed that it is any worse than any other litter. So, a big thumbs up from me.

Best litter ever!
I took a chance on this litter just by the reviews alone and I've never been happier with my purchase. The litter clumps and absorbs odour beautifully.
The kitties tend to track a little of it when they leave the box, but it's nothing that I wouldn't be hoovering up anyway on a different litter.
My kitties seem to be happy with it too.
Thank you everyone for your great reviews and litter advice.

not so good as we think
We found it a waist of our money to bad for us than.
If you like wooden fiber than it's good but other wise than we are not advice to buy it.
Try it your self and you know it............

Won't change.
Having tried both "Cats best" and "Worlds best" litters, I now stick to "Cats best" and won't change, unless they change it and make it unusable or they stop making it altogether.

Cat's best? Cat's worst!
Do not buy this litter, it tracks everywhere. I found it ALL OVER my flat, in every crevice. World's best is a similar price and FAR better IMO.

best cat litter
Clumps beautifully. Very easy to remove both pee & poo. Little tracking.

Best there is!
This is so much better than anything I've used before. It doesn't smell and you can even flush it way.

Been using it for 2 years
Great litter the clumping is amazing and 1 bag seems to last ages. Easy to scoop out the clumps so no wastage. Some people say it masks the smell of poop but I wouldn't say it does, no urine smells though like I've noticed with some over litters. Its not to messy although it does get in my cats paws and she always shakes them as she come out of the tray. I use a litter mat which pretty much traps these lose bits. Tried other litters but this is still the best for us.

I'm converted!
I have three indoor rescue cats, two long haired, one short haired. They are all really fussy and I'd struggled to find a litter that all three would use without accidents next to the tray. Then I tried Oko Plus and it's fantastic! It's not as dusty as other litters I've tried, I like that it's ok to compost and being flushable has meant friends are happier when cat sitting for me. It is slightly more expensive than my old litter but it lasts longer so works out to around the same price. The cats have taken to it really well and since I started using it there have been no accidents outside the tray. There is no amonia/urine smell and when my cats bury their poop, no smell from that either (although I have one who have never mastered that trick so the whole house knows when she's been in the tray!) I haven't noticed it getting caught in their fur any more than other litters but the big drawback is the amount it tracks. Even with a litter mat I do get a far amount on the carpet outside the bathroom door but to be honest, the two minutes it takes to run the hoover round is a small price to pay for all the advantages.

Good, but ...
Plus points of Cats Best Oko Plus:
1. My 2 oriental type cats prefer this litter.
2. Natural product, non toxic, safe for my cats.
3. Masks odours very well and has a pleasant, natural woody/pine smell.
4. Clumps well and is easy to deal with.
5. Environmentally friendly and biodegradeable.
Minus points of Cats Best Oko Plus:
1. Tracks a lot. Even though I have a large mat by the tray, I am sweeping up bits of cat litter two or three times a day and still finds bits on the carpet and sometimes even upstairs.
2. It is a bit dusty.
3. I find that it does not last anywhere near as long as the manufacturer states. I use a jumbo sized litter tray, which gives my cats room to turn around. It takes 5 litres of litter each time and I change the tray completely every 5 to 7 days. I have read other reviews which advise that you can save the litter after removing the clumps and put it back in the tray after cleaning, but personally, I don't and wouldn't do this. A 10 litre bag lasts my 2 cats a maximum of 2 weeks.
I have recently tried the Cats Best Gold litter, which is in pellet form rather than chips, designed not to cling to the fur of long haired cats. I would also give that 4 stars. It does not track anywhere near as much as the original and is not so dusty and possibly lasts a day or so longer between complete changes as it does not break down so quickly, however, my cats don't seem to like the feel of it under their paws quite so much and we have much (noisy) raking in the litter tray and it is a little more expensive than the ordinary Cats Best Oko Plus.
Overall, both are good, but have their advantages and drawbacks. You pays your money and you makes your choice.
