Never going back to another litter!

Prior to buying this litter I was cleaning the tray out daily to try to rid my house of the smell of cat pee from my one young Bengal, it was making life miserable. I bought this thinking it would be the same as other litters but wow, the difference! This is amazing, it lasts for ages before needing to be changed and simply DOES NOT SMELL!! It's revolutionised our life quite literally. I won't buy another litter now. Yes it's expensive on the face of it but it really does last so much longer than cheaper litters so you don't have to fork out so often. Brilliant!!

Does what it says.

The cost of this litter made me think twice about buying it, but I started off with a small bag, and am so glad I did. I have now bought a huge bag. I have kept cats all my adult life and this is the first litter I have tried which does what it says. It clumps all urine so that it can be scooped out, and the tray always smells fresh after scooping. I top it up as I feel necessary, and with two cats using one tray it lasts for ages. I was used to having to completely empty the tray, wash it and completely refill, twice a week with previous litters but with Cat's Best this is not necessary. It does track out of the litter box,a bit, but so have other litters, and I have put the litter box onto a little mat to contain the mess. I carry the bottom of the litter box to the toilet, and simply scoop and flush everything away. It makes life so much easier, try it.

Very good BUT

After reading up on this brand of cat litter, I would buy a bag and give it a go, It is very good, no smells BUT it does leave bits on carpet, Went out and brought a rechargable hoover, So now the bits can be hoovered up and not causing any more problems, It is more expensive than what I was using before BUT you use less of this and it does not smell at all, Only have the one indoor cat that using the litter box

Cats Best Litter

This litter has revolutionized my life ! Amazing stuff and no bad odours, having 2 cats in the house its simply fantastic :-)

best litter EVER

simply the best cat litter ever. only the faintest sawdusty smell from it, it clumps really well and it's a doddle to clean the clumps out. i can see it lasting for ages and i'll definitely be sticking to this brand. one happy kitty, one happy owner!

Brilliant!

I had a problem with tracking - even finding bits of litter upstairs! Now it just tracks a little around the litter box, therefore much easier to keep clean. I use an extra large scoop, once a day with a top up if necessary, and now only need a complete litter change once a week. It works out cheaper too as one 10l bag (£7.99) will last two weeks (2 cats) instead of four 10l bags of ordinary stuff (approx. £12 every two weeks).

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter

Very good litter. Does all it says on the pack. Buying more after one try.

Good at clumping but really messy

I have an indoor cat and I have a preference to wood based litters. I was impressed with the way the cat litter clumped. However, I've given this a 2 star as I constantly had to sweep up the litter. I've reverted back to my previous brand which is cheaper and not as messy. Glad I tried it but sadly I won't be buying again.

THE BEST

Lightweight, easy to clean, no dust, no smell, my cat loves it too.

'Cat's Best' lives up to its name

I work as a cat sitter, as well as own and foster cats and, having been recommended this litter by a friend and a client, I can honestly say this is simply the best cat litter ever I've used. It really does live up to its name and is odorless, pleasant to use and very economical as it forms easily removable clumps, so only soiled litter is removed. It also has the benefit of being biodegradable & kind to the planet. And the cats seem to like using it too! I now recommend it to all my clients and friends. Fantastic product at fantastic value. Can't praise it enough.

I love this stuff!

Having started my kitten on a cheap,non-clumping clay litter, I progressed to "worlds best" which was perceived by my four dogs to be a ready snack. I love "cats best". It clumps really well, and only the soiled balls need to be replaced. The only smell is a faint "sawdust" one. Although I needed to use a lot to fill the covered cat litter tray, only a small amount needs to be removed each time, making it very economical.

3 House Moggies approve but too expensive

Was put off by the price at first, but caved in as was getting fed up with the previous litter I used always being over the floor or not absorbing well enough in the trays. I have 3 cats who are kept indoors temporarily whilst we cat safe the fence from the road. I am very impressed with just how well this litter clumps, absorbing much much more urine into a small space than other litters do. Having 3 indoor cats, for me this means I don't have to rush about quite as much all day scooping the 4 trays I have in case they go outside the tray. My tabby is also very very fussy about where he goes, usually the carpet or on the puppy training pads! but even he has now started using the tray again now it has this in it, so very pleased about that! It clumps very solidly so doesn't spill all over the floor when you scoop and condenses waste into much smaller piles, leaving more space in the tray for the cats to carry on using until you get round to scooping out. The down size is the expense and it IS very expensive in my opinion, but as a temporary measure until my cats can go outside again, it's something I've decided to put up with so have ordered some more.

Definitely the best!

This litter is the best I have ever used for my cat/s!! I highly recommend it. In order, my opinion on why it is so great: 1) You can throw the poos and wees down the toilet! Really. This for me, living in a flat, is fantastic! 2) It clumps easily with wees and so these are easy to pick up with litter shovel. No residue. 3) Once the unwanted bits are removed and flushed away, it is odourless. 4) Stir the remainder up and it lasts forever! Only one little negative....it does track a bit, but get a litter box mat or rug from zooplus and..... problem solved!

My cats love it !

I have got 2 huge ragamuffin and the both love it . 20 kg litter can last nearly 1.5 months. Brilliant litter simple the best.

Cats Best Best Ever!

I have 4 indoor cats and will never use anything else ever again - neither will my cats! I accidentally took some crystals along to a show, and eventually had to use someone else's Cats Best, because my Oriental kitten wouldn't go to the bathroom on anything else! It DOES track, but bearing in mind all the positives, I am quite happy to clean up once a day!

Best Cat Litter is The best

Used for Two months ,best i have ever used. Tried all types and prices over last 8 years of owning cats .Will stick with this from now on The best definately

Best Litter I've found.

This stuff is great! Really good at clumping and odour control. There is a slight issue with tracking but no more so than with any other fine-grain litter. Would definately recommend. The fact that you can flush the clumps or compost the litter makes it so easy to dispose of.

I can't believe you all like it!

This litter is the worst I've ever used as it requires constant attention. I thought that I'd swap from clay clumping litter for my growing Maine Coon kittens to a wood based one, eventually moving to the big litter pellets as they get to 6-8 months old. It doesn't clump too well (bits drop off as you gently scoop up clumps) and it's so small and light it tracks all over the kitchen, I have to sweep the floor regularly. The only plus over clay is it smells nicer. I really wasn't impressed and would not buy again.

The best I've used so far

Best clumping litter I've found. Makes it easy to scoop out - and flushing down the toilet is much easier than bagging and binning. In the summer this will avoid the dustbin being a no-go area due to smell. Can't understand the comments about clumps being too soft to take out. A standard scoop picks them up and the unused litter falls through the holes.

Reduced smells, good value, efficient delivery

Zooplus seems to have the best price for this litter that I have seen. I was delighted at the quick delivery. I ordered late one night and it arrived two mornings later at 7.30 am!What I really like about this litter is that it has a soft texture and once you have removed the bits, the remaining litter smells perfectly fresh. It smells a bit like semolina. It is now almost three weeks in a three cat household and I have not yet emptied the basic litter, although I keep topping it up. However it does not totally cover the immediate smell, and I am still being woken in the mornings by a certain fragrance wafting through the house....I very much like the concept that it can be flushed down the toilet,or put into the garden compost recycling bin. I suggest putingt only very small quantities down the toilet at a time. One evening I thought I had flushed it (maybe I hadn't) and in the morning there was this expanded sticky looking sludge at the bottom of the pan, under the water. I panicked a bit, and it took three flushes to get rid of it. As has often been said, the litter does track. The cats like using the litter and now rarely use the alternative litter tray which has coarse wood chip litter .

Perfect for us

It clumps well and doesn’t create much dust. If you clean the litter box regularly, it doesn’t smell. Some gets carried out on their paws, but with daily sweeping around the toilet, it’s not a problem. Our cats don’t like scented litter, so this is perfect for them.

I always buy it. Good price.

It's just a shame that zooplus packs it in a big box. It would easily fit in a slightly smaller one if the top packaging was bent. And it makes a difference to me, because I prefer to collect my deliveries from the parcel locker.

It's not the same anymore

I’ve seen that other people have had the same experience as me. I bought it for two years, it was really excellent. For months now, it’s not the same anymore. It DOESN’T CLUMP anymore. As for the smell, unfortunately I’ll have to try again because I bought a similar one, but the bad odour isn’t neutralised.

Very practical and pleasant natural litter for the cat, she doesn’t scatter it everywhere.

Lately, it gives off dust

I've always used this litter and been really happy with it, but lately it's been giving off loads of dust. Even when I scoop it, I end up coughing from all the dust—imagine what it's like for the cats. I'm thinking about switching to a different one.

Brilliant

I've been using this litter for a few months now and honestly I don't regret it at all, it's really great. Plus, with a big bag I can fill five litter trays and still have some left over, so it's really good when you have several cats.

Dusty

The sand is very dusty, which is a shame because it goes a long way and clumps well.

Almost dust-free but clumping is mediocre

I previously used cat litter from Lidl and wanted a low-dust option. I'm very happy with this cat litter because it's quite low in dust and absorbs odours well. However, I'm unsure about the quality of its clumping. It does form clumps, but the pee clumps break apart when I try to clean the litter box. The pee stays fairly wet, which is annoying because it leaves small bits of litter behind that already contain pee. As a result, the litter needs to be replaced more often.

It's not the same product anymore.

We’ve been using this cat litter for years. Now it doesn’t clump like it should anymore and the litter smells worse.

The best

Our favourite: it lasts a long time, doesn’t leave dust everywhere (like the stone one), clumps well... Negatives: it sticks quite a bit—leaves marks and it’s a bit pricey.

Very dissatisfied, used to be better, doesn't clump properly.

The first ones we bought directly at Fressnapf were of higher quality.

Very good cat litter

Great cat litter, the cats are happy, it clumps nicely and smells like wood. The pieces used to be a bit bigger, so now they spread it around the flat more, but it's still good and much better than the original bentonite one.

Excellent!

I've been using this litter since 2011 and it allows me to avoid bad smells in the house because I can flush it down the toilet. It's odourless so it doesn't bother me, and it doesn't contain any toxic substances for my pets. Finally, it's clumping and absorbent.

Not recommended for cats with respiratory issues

It covers smells really well; Makes firm clumps, easy to remove from the litter; It's gentle on the paws, soft, my tomcat liked digging in it. The biggest downside, and the reason I'll stop using it, is that it leaves a lot of dust. My cat has respiratory issues, which came back shortly after I started using this litter. The dust bothered me too, so I had to wear a mask when cleaning/changing it; Another downside is that it spreads easily all over the house.

Clumping litter???

I bought this litter because it was supposed to be very low in dust. But that's really the only advantage! As for CLUMPING litter...???? Every clump falls apart as soon as you lift it out of the tray, or even just shake it a bit on the scoop to let the clean litter fall back into the tray. So better not to shake it and just throw everything in the bin. What a waste! Even my three cats prefer to use the other tray, which still has the "old" type in it. Never again!!!!!
