Happy cat, happy owner!
Until now I was buying the cheapest littler I could find in the supermarket but a bag would only last me a week, and it was so stinky all the time.
This is more expensive BUT it lasts so much longer, it absorbs the smells, it's so much easier to clean up and scoop, and it's more eco friendly on top of that.
The only thing is it sticks to my cat's paws a bit and she tracks it around the house, but it's no big deal considering the pros. I'll be buying this in bulk for the foreseeable future!

Doesn't clump

Very disappointed.
After reading all the plaudits for this cat litter, I thought I would buy it. It is without a doubt one of the worst cat litters that I have ever used for my two cats. The cat litter disperses everywhere. It must stick to my cats paws because I am constantly finding it on my sofa, carpets etc. There is also a sickly smell that is quite overpowering, and I have to change the litter tray more frequently. For the price it is simply not worth the money.

We've been using it from the start and think it's great – so does the cat. Easy to dispose of in the toilet, so the bin doesn't constantly fill up. It binds odours well.

Very convenient
When I got my little kitty we used normal clay litter but it was too messy so I decided to try this. In the beginning Diona didn't really want to use it unless i mixed it with the clay one and then we slowly transferred to this one fully and now both kitty and me are happy with the poopies. I don't think I will change this brand and type anytime soon. It's also environment friendly because you can flush it down the toilet.

Terrible litter
The litter may be lightweight and completely organic, but it doesn't neutralise odours at all when it comes to faeces. And the absolute deal-breaker: the litter ends up scattered all over the flat. Every day, I have to vacuum multiple times in every room.

The new formula is unfortunately not convincing at all.
We've been using this cat litter for many years and have always been very satisfied. Super economical and no smelly "concrete layer" at the bottom of the litter box.
Recently, however, the texture of the litter has changed significantly. It's much finer, the clumps fall apart immediately, leaving lots of tiny clumps in the box. The rest gets spread around the flat even more than before. Everywhere you look, there's litter... Mega annoying. I'll have to start looking for something new now.

Changed formula
What has happened to this litter? The litter has changed the grain is now much smaller so creates so much more mess. Also more dustier . Not great

I had been using this litter for over 10 years. Unfortunately, its quality has declined quite a bit; it’s become crumblier, which affects its clumping ability. Odour control has also worsened. It’s a shame, but I’ve now switched to a different one.

Disappointed since the last purchase
I've been using Cats Best for many years and have always been very satisfied. However, something has changed in the formula/composition of the cat litter. It's now much, much finer and dustier. This just doesn't work at all. I don't know what to do with the second pack???? Throwing it away would be such a waste. Unfortunately, I'll definitely have to switch to another manufacturer.

Unfortunately not for us
We were really hoping to find a sustainable cat litter but this one just isnt for our cat.
It holds odour well, but we would find ourselves changing it more often than usual because it would biodegrade instantly (So i guess it does what its meant to do)
For us though we just cant keep up with needing to change litter as often as this one needs to be changed because it turns to mush so quickly.

Amazing
I have been using wood based or fullers earth cat litter for years with all my cats. My nephew suggested I try this as he uses it for his cat.
I am amazed at the way it works. There is next to no smell and the litter clumps into little lumps that are easily collected with a spade. No scraping the base of the tray. Cherry the cat seems pleased with it which is, for her, the most important thing.
Will defo stock up on this.

Apparently a new recipe!
For the past few weeks, this litter has been very fine – it no longer clumps properly, and the cat spreads the fine particles all over the flat! The previous formula was much better!

Structure changed!
I’m quite satisfied with Cat's Best Original. I’ve been ordering it for many years now and will continue to use it because my tomcat takes to it very well. What I really like is that even after one and a half months, it doesn’t smell and still has a light woody scent. However, I do criticise the new texture, which is much finer than it used to be! I preferred the coarser texture much more. But it still clumps very well.

Good litter, but...
I've been using this litter for about 5 weeks now (since my kittens arrived). The positives: it hardly smells, the cats like it, and it clumps incredibly well. The negatives: it produces a lot of dust – especially at the bottom of the litter box – and spreads all over the flat. The price is reasonable, but the dust content really needs to be reduced!
