The litter clumps relatively well, but the smell can be really awful at times. On its own, the litter smells natural. However, as soon as one of the cats has used the tray, you can smell it from far away, which is a total no-go if your flat isn’t very big. On top of that, the tiny bits get scattered all over the flat, and even a large mat doesn’t help with that.

With 7 indoor only cats, litter is a priority. I’ve tried quite a few different brands, but thoroughly love Cat’s Best. Suitable for disposable in the recycle bin which reduces landfill. Nice aroma and not as dusty as previous brands. Highly recommended.

The litter quickly starts to smell strange, and unfortunately, the clumps sometimes fall apart. You have to be very careful when removing the clumps. Positive: very lightweight litter. I had high expectations for this litter because it's so hyped... unfortunately disappointed... I can't recommend it.

Cannot believe this manufacturer would think people wouldn’t notice! I have been using this product and recommending it to friends & family for years, only to find how messy it’s become. It seems to have sawdust mixed in which means the cats are getting stuck in their paws and tramping it all over the carpets. Nothing more annoying to find cat litter on the bedsheets! If manufacturers are going to cheat customers, at least have the decency to mention it! Original it’s not😡

This absorbs smells and liquids brilliantly and is very lightweight. Perhaps too much so. Within 2 hours of putting this in the litter tray it looks as if I’ve had builders in for months. I’ve got 3 indoor cats, so use of the litter tray is pretty heavy but I’ve never had this problem with any other litter. When a cat gets off my lap there is cat litter on me. It’s been tracked everywhere in the house. It’s a real shame, because it would be great if it wasn’t for that. I’d never buy it again.

Used this litter for over 2 years now, it clumps really well (you’ve got to leave the pee a little bit so it can firm up), and doesn’t stink with regular scooping. Occasionally a bag will be a little dustier but it’s not a huge amount and has never been a problem. My only problem is it tracks so much, but we’ve tried different brands and different textures and they all get out but this one tracks more in my opinion. Or perhaps my boy has sweaty sticky paws. We’ve got a mat to combat it now.

I ventured out & tried others but man oh man never again. This really does keep odour at bay. And it’s the cheaper of other similar types. The only issue w this is it does scatter.

The litter is good, lightweight, and smells pleasant. I mixed it with the old type of litter for the transition, but I also set up one litter box entirely with this. It was accepted hesitantly because of the size of the litter. Now they wait as long as they can until they can't hold it anymore and urgently need to go. They don't bury it anymore either, and I think they really miss that, as they scratch at the box more than they used to. Unfortunately, I'll have to switch back again.

It is very tidy litter, no dust, good odour control, clams into perfect small balls easy to remove. Really great!

I had high hopes for this product, which isn’t exactly cheap, especially after reading the recommendations online. Yes, it clumps (a little), reduces ammonia and faeces odour, is very economical, and can go into the organic waste bin. BUT, after just a few hours, you’ll find the tiny flakes everywhere—literally everywhere—despite having mats in front of the litter boxes. I find this unacceptable and frustrating. Why don’t they make the cat litter with larger granules instead?

We've been using this litter for several months, but the new formula is a complete no-go! The litter has become finer and doesn't clump well. On top of that, it's really dusty. There's practically a "flour filter" all over the litter box. Everything around it is covered in dust. When you clean the box, just as much dust flies everywhere. We're already looking for alternatives!

After all the positive reviews, I thought I'd give it a try as well. Never again will I buy this litter. It clumps terribly, the clumps either fall apart immediately or don't form at all, and it ends up scattered all over the flat.

I've tried many types of cat litter before, the famous one from Lidl, a scented one from Fressnapf, and so on, but this one – wow! It doesn't smell of anything, maybe just a hint of wood. It no longer gets tracked all over the flat, and since it clumps, the waste can be sifted out beautifully. Never going back to another one!

I used to rave about this litter it used to be outstanding quality both low tracking and excellent clumping as well as virtually odour free for weeks before a full litter change was required.However the formula has changed at first I thought I had bought a dodgy batch as now finer grains that track everywhere!! also it leaves a very stale unpleasant smell after a couple of days and that’s after regular scooping . I am very disappointed, Ruined what use to be an excellent product , shame

Until now I was buying the cheapest littler I could find in the supermarket but a bag would only last me a week, and it was so stinky all the time. This is more expensive BUT it lasts so much longer, it absorbs the smells, it's so much easier to clean up and scoop, and it's more eco friendly on top of that. The only thing is it sticks to my cat's paws a bit and she tracks it around the house, but it's no big deal considering the pros. I'll be buying this in bulk for the foreseeable future!

The quality is no longer comparable. I'd rather pay €2 more at the local pet shop. Such a shame.

I used to really like this litter. Unfortunately, the quality has drastically declined; it doesn’t clump at all anymore. There are far better providers of plant-based litter out there!

When I got my little kitty we used normal clay litter but it was too messy so I decided to try this. In the beginning Diona didn't really want to use it unless i mixed it with the clay one and then we slowly transferred to this one fully and now both kitty and me are happy with the poopies. I don't think I will change this brand and type anytime soon. It's also environment friendly because you can flush it down the toilet.

After reading all the plaudits for this cat litter, I thought I would buy it. It is without a doubt one of the worst cat litters that I have ever used for my two cats. The cat litter disperses everywhere. It must stick to my cats paws because I am constantly finding it on my sofa, carpets etc. There is also a sickly smell that is quite overpowering, and I have to change the litter tray more frequently. For the price it is simply not worth the money.
