It's great my cats can go out when they want and come in when they want! It even makes the cats in the neighbourhood jealous because it is a very elegant cat flap!

thanks to this cat flap my cats feel safe at home. They are the only ones who can enter the house and find their kibble. they are more relaxed.....

Here is my feedback after 1 1/2 years of use. Learning was rapid despite the noise of the slightly disturbing click at the start. My little cat uses it 5 to 10 times a day and the batteries are still original. No chip recognition problem, no failure. Product that meets 100% of my expectations. Only regret: that there is no facial recognition to prevent it from entering with a prey :)

A great invention and a feeling of freedom for our cat. He can come and go as he likes. Programming was child's play and he is immediately in and out as if he had never done anything else. Can highly recommend the flap.

I was a little worried that, as it often happens with such devices, everything looks cool only in advertising. The flap has already been in use for 4 months and works great. We have taught our cat to use it literally in a few days. Now when we enter the door, it enters through the flap. I would recommend. Finally, I know that our kitty has a safe shelter and that I only feed her and not the neighbours.

Set it up easily with my 2 cats . Just put some treats in the tunnel. Stops little Paddy from next door but one stealing my cats food. Sweet little cat but Greedy

Easy to instal, works as described. Our relatively small cats didn’t take long to learn to use it. It does click so if you have a cat who objects to snappy / clicking noises it might be an issue, but ours will sit next to us while we use power tools so it was no problem for them. Best of all, the big bad bully cat who kept coming in and terrorising ours is now kept out. Highly recommended.

With the price of this product I wanted to give it 6 months before reviewing.This has been such a great purchase!! It gives the cats their daytime freedom and they enjoy going through the the tunnel.I am happy as I know that nothing else can come in the house without the chip opening the door and the draft excluder on it is perfect at keeping the cold out. I've used 3 tunnel add ons for this on my back house wall and it's fine.The click people speak of is not an issue for my two cats (3yrs old)

It works perfectly well, he learned to use it in a few days. If you want to use it without a chip: insert a battery, press a button, the lock will open. The battery must then be removed

Reiterating other reviews, this is a brilliant little cat flap. Mickey is a bit of a chubster, but still manages to get in & out easily. He was initially wary of the clicking noise as it unlocks, but has since realised what it is & isn’t bothered. I find it is sensitive, & can hear it clicking the minute his head is anywhere near the flap. It’s less draughty than the manual one & has various settings, so the negative reviews on that are misleading. I have a much calmer cat & no more intruders!

Because of the negative opinions, I dared to buy it, a little scared, but I didn’t regret it. My cats use it with a microchip. After a simple memorisation, at the touch of a button, the animal can go through the door. They soon learned to use it.

Used to have a bully of a tom cat so never had a problem with intruders so an ordinary cat flap was fine. That all changed after his sad demise - I now have two very nervy females who were terrorised by other cats coming into the house. This flap allows my cats to come & go but they can rest easy knowing they are now safe when indoors. Very easy to set up and cats soon get used to the click as they come through the flap. Wonderful item.

I am delighted with this product. The local bully-cat used to chase my gentle little cat in through the ordinary cat flap and beat her up her in her own home. Since I bought SureFlap cat flap only my cat can come in and so she’s safe now.

The cat door has been in use for a year and a half, we put it in the garage door. The cat loves to come in and out of the house whenever he wants. We haven't had any problems with it so far, it works perfectly. It was a very good decision to buy.

After looking at the comments, I feared that my 5.5kg tomcat was too big for this cat flap, but I had the pleasant surprise to see that it had plenty of room to pass! He who was used to a manual cat flap in less than 2 hours, he understood how it worked. Now no more intruders in the house!

We have had this valve for 3 years. Up to now, the batteries only had to be changed once. Our cats are only slightly scared. However, this flap works wonderfully!

Firstly in reply to the previous 2 (misleading) comments: 1 - There is a ;ow battery warning light clearly visible on the inside top right of the housing. 2 - You can revert to manual (Non-microchip) mode easily by following the simple instructions in the booklet provided. Does what I wanted it to do - keeps out the neighbours unfriendly cat and allows my 2 cats access. Simple to fit and simple to set up.

We are very happy with the product. A little tip for programming: If the cat still needs to be chipped, take the flap with you to the vet.

If you have female, unneutered cats, DO NOT BUY this product! It is staggeringly badly designed, in so far as it is impossible to set it to "entry only". If ALL your cats are not microchipped, they will be trapped outside, and subsequently impreganted by feral toms. In addition, its lock mode is easy for the cats to bypass - my cats figure out how to get round it within a few weeks. Also, no low battery alert to tell you the batteries are running low. I wish I had never touched it-Disgusted

The microchip is registered and saved with a single push of a button. The cat flap is easy to assemble. Now my cat only has to get used to the clicking sound that occurs when unlocking. I think he is sleeping outside tonight.
