Fussy Ragdoll
Our cat has adapted well to this product, though it is not Sustainable. It discolours over a few hours and our cat won't have it then. (We have tried putting it in the fridge or room temp, taking out of the tin, or leaving it in. Same result. (Just a helpfl tip that sachets for you may be better). Unfortunately our cat did not take to sachets either.

This is a complete cat food
Despite several reviews saying this isn't a complete cat food, the tins of Senior Applaws are a complete cat food for your elderly cat. My 15 year old Siamese cat Pippy adores it, the hardest bit is keeping the other 4 Siamese and Orientals we have from wolfing it down. Luckily Pippy can still look after himself, even though his is a mature gentleman.

PURR, CHEW, PURR!
Both my senior cats enjoyed this food. My only issue, I bought the variety pack and the chicken flavour was not a hit and we had to mix it with one of the other flavours to get them to eat it. Going forward I will make sure I only buy the flavours they enjoy.

My senior cat loves it
The Applaws SENIOR canned cat food IS COMPLETE food but the other canned food from this range is not (the "Natural cat food" ones). I asked the Applaws company.
My cat likes all favours. He doesn't leave any on the plate what is very unusual. He's always had the best available food but this is special. I hope there is not some dodgy ingredient in there what makes it so irresistible. We rely on the honesty of the manufacturers.

Theonly one he'll eat
This is the only senior cat food my seventeen year old cat will eat. He's on thyroid medication and his kidneys are on the borderline of normal so I wanted a senior food for him. He loves this/

Likes Some!
My 18 year old cat who is very fussy and is often sick loves the tuna with salmon in jelly but will not eat the chicken in jelly. She will eat some of the ordinary Applaws chicken ones though.

Loves it
My cat is about 18 and has always been prone to being sick. I am not saying this food has stopped her but at least she eats all of it and not left lumps and just licked the gravy as with cheap range foods.

At last something to eat
My 13 year old cat has kidney problems and was having a tough time eating, he only has water and starved himself so thin that he is loosing weight to skin and bones. I was so happy to read the reviews and prompted me to try this product, as soon as I recd it today he ate a 1/4 from the tin, which was a real relief and blessing to see him atleast put something in his tummy. Oh goodness now I can at least be assured that my baby is going to live longer and have a better health in long run. Thanks

She loooves it!
My cat will be 18 years in March and has hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. I have to mix some medication with her food and give her applaws tuna fillet which she really likes. I bought senior tuna and salmon knowing that she can be very fussy but to my delight she wolved it down immediately! I know it's not complete but at least she eats it and doesn't mind medication in it.

A good tasty treat but not complete.
Applaws is a nice treat that my Norwegian forest cat and Abyssinian really enjoy but both the pouches and tins are not complete . If you look on the back of the tins you will see that the ingredients are pure free range meat with broth and no added vitimans or taurine which is what makes it complementary. If you wanted your cats meals to be complete you could of course feed dry food alongside the applaws.

The best wet cat food.
Applaws is the only wet food our cats will consistently eat. We have tried other brands just for variety and the cats will only eat them for a week or two so we always end up back on Applaws. In the 4 years since we got our cats I have never had a single tin of Applaws that didn't seem top quality, it is always 100%. We always buy the 24-tin saver packs because they are the best value. The only slight downside to Applaws wet food is that it isn't a 'complete' food so we have to make sure the cats also eat complete dry food too, which can occasionally be difficult. Overall I would recommend Applaws wet food to everyone simply because the cats do love it. A+++

Sachets are complementry, small tins and dry is complete
My cat has been very poorly with hyperthyroid and I looked for a better food after this and finding a piece of metal in a sachet of Whiskers food. She has had radioiodine treatment but has positively thrived on both the treatment and the good food. She looks so healthy after 3 weeks of it, her coat is gleaming and put on much needed weight & muscle. At first I only found the pouches but then discovered they were only complimentary food but when I visited pets at home I found senior complete tins and complete dry food. All my cats LOVE this food and I would highly recommend it.

Not complete food
Our two ragdolls love this as a treat but after reading a few comments above thought I'd better mention this is not a complete food for cats. For excellent quality wet grain free food for cats check out Grau Grain Free, Bozita or have a look at Lily's Kitchen organic
