Sloppy food
I have used this product for many years now but the product quality has changed so much. The food is now very wet and sloppy like it’s been put through a blender.
Even the cats are turning their noses up and they aren’t particularly fussy.
Going to try different brands to see if the texture is any better.

Watery cat food
Over the last year product quality has dropped and there is a lot more water in it than there was previously. I purchased this previously as I wanted a better quality food than the bigger brands supplied and this WAS a good product, company denies lowering the quality but I am not the only one mentioning this.

Loved it
Most of applaws food now is a broth, more juice. I brought this as a stand by as it contains pumpkin for constipation. My cat lapped it up. Encore is better value

Recipe change, not good anymore
Cats are this for years then suddenly stopped, same time as the packaging changed and there was a lot more water instead of meat.
Also says on the back that it's COMPLEMENTARY food, not complete.
Not good quality like it used to be, don't bother, the price tag does not make this product good, we keep "emergency" pouches of poorer quality and cheaper food for of we ever get caught out and run out of food, cat devours them now over Applaws.
Customer of years and I am done wasting money on this

My cats love applaws
All my cats absolutely love this brand, their favourite is the chicken and duck. First wet food to not upset their stomachs.

Cat liked it but his tummy didn’t !
I want to find a good quality cat food that my cat likes and is in a tin not pouches .
Sadly it’s not Applaws , after a bit of encouragement my cat was prepared to swap to this food and seemed to enjoy it but it gave him such an upset tummy we’ve had to switch back to his old food .

Not like the small tins
My fussy cat that loved the small tins of the chicken and duck food wouldn’t touch the same food in the large tins. I ordered this especially for him, hoping to save a bit, as large tins work out better pricewise; however, it turned out to be a waste of money. 3 stars for the fact that my other 2 cats have it; but they are not fussy at all and are happy with any other cheaper wet food normally, that they get as a treat once a day to complement their dry food diet.

Good quality food, cat loves it
Really good quality food, real shredded chicken with some broth in. It's a good ratio of broth to meat, enough to keep it moist but not so much you loose out on the meat. My cat absolutely loves it and inhales the entire amount.

Why so much liquid?
Our cats love Applaws, but the water content just seems to go up and up! We measure our cats food out and once when we had a bowl on the scale I poured the liquid out into it and it measured just under half the weight of the tin, If I'd squeezed the chicken at all I'm sure it would have taken it well over half the weight!.
It's a shame Applaws feel they have to make their profit in this way as our cats really like it.

Daily treat!
Both my fur babies (18 and 7 months old) love these and the fish ones e.g. tuna and prawns. I like this as if they are unwell or have soft stool I find giving them chicken with pumpkin seems to settle them down. If they are sleeping in the bedroom they will come running to the kitchen when I start to open a tin…it’s amazing how sharp their ears are! 😅 they jump on me or claw the cupboard underneath the kitchen counter in excitement! It’s only a treat for them as these are not complete diet

My cat loves this but I am pretty sure that’s where he gas got his allergic reaction from as he loss a lot of fur.

A bit dear, but the cat loves it
You see the chicken meat in this tin, no filler product like jelly or paste. The cat loves it and doesn't get tired of it unless on it continuously for a longer time.

NOT A COMPLETE FOOD - THIS IS COMPLEMENTARY
Fantastic food which my two Bengals love - even the Pumpkin!
Beware though this is not a standalone food - you need to feed with a complete food as well if your cats don't catch and eat prey regularly - mine catch but don't eat.
Probably because they're spoilt!
My two share a tin each morning and night and have complete dry food during the day

Good Quality Food and my cats love it.
One of my cats loves the chicken, the other loves the tuna. I've still to try my cats with any of the others but I will. I feel good that I'm feeding my two with a high protein good quality food.

good quality wet food
applaws cat food is a high quality cat food. it doesn't contain many of the filler junk that is there in some other wet food. infact one of my cats will not eat any other wet food. i just add felini complete. the only problem i have is that sometimes it feels as though the quantity is less.
