My little one loves it
The sand feels really good, my hamster loves its large sand bath and has even set up a second sleeping spot there. I will definitely order the chinchilla sand again.

My quails love this bargain sand
My quails just live bathing in chinchilla sand, but locally it is very expensive and you can only get it in small cartons. My quails get through a lot of sand, scattering it everywhere, but as I have bought 3 bags it will last a while. My quails love this brand and I will be buying more.

Our chinchillas absolutely love it!
It lasts a long time and doesn’t smell at all. I actually think the smell someone mentioned earlier comes from the animals themselves (I’ve had mice and rats myself).
As I said, I’ve been ordering this sand for our chinchillas for ages, and there’s never been a problem with it. I can definitely recommend it, and I’ll keep ordering!

Defective Sand
I also bought the sand because of the good reviews. However, I had to realise that the sand starts to smell after a short time and gets really wet after a day. On top of that, the fur of one of my mice is no longer shiny.

Brilliant!
My hamster loves it, scurries around in it so much that I regularly have to put the sand back into the bath, and his nose gets so full of sand that he has to sneeze :) The price-performance ratio is more than okay!

Very poor sand
The sand starts to smell after just one day, and the fur of my gerbils doesn’t look healthy at all and even has a slightly strong odour. I won’t be using this sand again!

I use it in my Dagu cage, put it under the hay in there cage as well as using it as a bath they love it

not impressed
I have a chinnie rescue and thought this looked a good price and would try. Its really fine, almost just dust, I give my chinnies a bath every day, I don't think this gets the grease out of their coats as well as others and notice they don't look as well groomed.

My chinnies have a bath every day or every other day and they never look greasy, this sand is really fine and very white, I find it just cleans better and doesn't set off my allergies

Good quality, but not for gerbils
The quality, quantity and value are good, but as it's so fine it gets everywhere. Also it's not great for gerbils, because they pee in it and as it doesn't clump as well, you end up throwing away much more than courser sand.

Not good sand
I bought the sand here some time ago because it’s so highly rated.
Since I’ve been using the sand, however, my mice’s fur hasn’t been in good condition anymore.
It’s dull and scruffy.
It no longer shines the way it’s supposed to.
And after three days, the sand starts to smell, which shouldn’t happen either.
I’ll never buy this sand again.

Great sand for little money
I order the sand every one and a half to two years in the 15kg package, and this has been the best solution for my chinchillas so far. I used to buy the much more expensive one from the pet shop and can say that the quality is just as good (which I had doubted before). The price is unbeatable! My chinnies love it, definitely recommend it.

Very nice sand
The sand is very fine and really nicely processed. Unfortunately, the bags got damaged during transport, which meant I ended up spreading half the sand around my flat. It's very difficult to vacuum, wipe, or sweep up because it's so fine.
But the most important thing is that my little hamster likes it, and she does.

Lovely soft and delicate
