A fantastic toy...indestructible...
Our Old English Bulldog loves her egg; she runs around like crazy on the field and is completely unstoppable. 10 minutes are more than enough, and she’s completely worn out, even though it’s usually hard to get her to settle down. Of course, due to the hard plastic, you shouldn’t leave the egg with the dog for too long and should also keep an eye on her play behaviour, as it could otherwise lead to injuries to teeth, lips, etc. But all in all, it’s a brilliant toy for active four-legged friends.

Hard plastic - Dogs are scared
In my opinion, a completely overpriced cheap product made of hard plastic, and even the "function" is inadequate. My three dogs are scared of it.

Simply brilliant
The running egg was recommended to us by the dog trainer for keeping our dogs occupied and helping them burn off energy.
Our 2-year-old Labrador female absolutely loves this egg and races around the garden with it.
She can't bite through the egg as her teeth always slip off it.
Unfortunately, our 10-month-old Rottweiler female doesn't like the egg at all.
I can't say anything about its indestructibility yet, as we've only had it for a week.

Broken after the second use!
My blind Scottish Terrier is crazy about balls! To give him a special treat, I bought him the RunninGegg. He was really excited about it, but unfortunately, after just a few games, he had already made a big hole in it! Now I have to throw it away! Such a shame!!!!!!!!!!

Too expensive
I have two medium-sized dogs, and as a foster home for animal rescue, I often have dogs of various sizes with me. But neither my own dogs nor the foster dogs are interested in this toy. It's also far too expensive. A round ball is much more appealing.

Unfortunately, not indestructible
My Giant Schnauzer-German Shepherd mix has had the egg for over 2 years now. She loved it from the very beginning and prefers playing with it outside more than anything else. Unfortunately, about six months ago, she managed to bite a hole into it, which recently grew to an impressive size of over 15 cm. For safety reasons, I had to throw it away, as she had already gotten her paw stuck in the hole and could have cut herself on the sharp edges. I never in my life thought she could break a toy made of hard plastic. Shows how wrong you can be. No toy is indestructible. Since the egg is gone, my Lissy has been really sad. Despite everything, I’m convinced by the egg (after all, it lasted over 2 years) and will buy her a new one for the next 2 years or so. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever.

My very work-driven dog is thrilled!
My furry friend (a 4-year-old CdB mix) enthusiastically chased the Egg around, using her paws and mouth. When she grabbed it with her mouth, the hard Egg already got a few light scratches. The game worked best on a slight slope. The game resets when the slope ends. Similar to a lure game, the dog needs active guidance, commands, and praise to keep it engaging and prevent it from becoming one-sided. After all the physical and mental activity, she was really well-exercised and properly tired afterwards. On very muddy ground, the dog can get quite a few splashes of dirt around the eye area.

Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive.
Unfortunately, my usually playful Landseer didn’t take to this egg at all. He doesn’t really know what to do with it. The egg is now serving as the head for our Santa Claus. Just pop a mask over it, and it’s done. So, if you’re in need of a head for a Santa Claus, then the egg comes highly recommended :-)

Not a must-have.
I have two Golden Retrievers who absolutely love to play! But with the egg, they don’t know what to do with it and completely ignore it. The only exception is now in the snow, because it slides around nicely, but that’s about it. Since they can’t grab it with their mouths, it’s just boring... I wrapped a thick rope around it, so at least now they play with it a bit. Conclusion: For the money, I’d rather buy more balls – they get much more enjoyment out of those!

Dog ball
We are also very impressed, but unfortunately, the ball is now in two pieces. We'll order another one.

Expensive and completely unnecessary
At first, I was surprised by the simple design of the toy, especially given the rather hefty price tag. Our dog is absolutely crazy about playing, and I was hoping he could play independently with the egg. However, it’s only interesting to him if I prompt him to fetch it. Since he can’t actually grab hold of it, he gets completely frustrated and starts barking. When he’s alone with the toy, he doesn’t even look at it. I can’t play with him using it either, as, like I said, he can’t grip it. So, in summary: totally unnecessary!

Great egg
My Doberman is crazy about the egg, pushes it through the snow, through dense undergrowth, and even fetches it out of every bush. The egg is really tough. A similar product didn’t even last a day.

Oscar's Favourite!
Finally, a toy that my American Bulldog male hasn’t destroyed within 30 seconds!! Oscar is absolutely ball-obsessed and has managed to tear apart everything (!!) that’s been available as toys so far (even those supposedly indestructible ones) within a minute.
Since this toy is egg-shaped, it’s "unpredictable". Oscar is addicted to this thing – when he sees it, there’s no stopping him. For once, it’s the dog who’s worn out after playing and not his owner ;-)

Runningegg
Unfortunately, our dog (NSDTR) doesn't play with the egg, even though she usually knows how to make use of anything lying around.

An egg as hard as stone...
We have a 10-month-old English Cocker Spaniel who destroys every toy in no time. He’s only satisfied when his toy is unusable, so we were on the hunt for an "indestructible" toy for him. Since he’s also impossible to tire out, we decided to go for the RunningEgg, as it looked like it would guarantee long-lasting fun.
When purchasing, I thought the RunningEgg was made of plastic and that its egg shape would make it impossible for the dog to bite into, as it would keep bouncing or rolling away.
So, we were really looking forward to the new toy, but unfortunately, our Spaniel only glanced at it briefly and then left it lying there. To be honest, I was quite shocked myself when I unpacked the egg. It’s completely hard! The dog isn’t interested in it because when you throw it, it doesn’t bounce around but just hits the ground and rolls away. When he chases after the egg, he immediately stops because it’s far too hard to bite into, so the egg doesn’t move anymore and becomes totally uninteresting to him.
What a shame – for us, it’s a complete waste of money.

Simply brilliant!
My two German Shepherds are crazy about it; it's a great activity and really keeps them busy. It's less suitable for small dogs, but for ball-obsessed medium to large dogs, it's brilliant. The quality lives up to its promises too.

I'm not impressed at all.
I ordered the egg for my dog. Admittedly, she thinks the egg is okay, but I find it far too hard and heavy. My dog is a Labrador-Collie mix, so not a small dog, yet I fear it won’t take long before she either knocks out a tooth or injures herself in some other way. I did read that it’s hard, which I initially thought was a good thing since regular balls don’t last long with us, but the fact that it’s also relatively heavy makes it, in my opinion, completely unsuitable. Unfortunately, I can’t return it anymore as it’s already been used, but for the sake of my dog’s joints, I won’t be using it further. Such a shame.

Anti-fun
After watching the Runningegg video, I knew I had to buy it. However, the sobering result followed: my Labrador lady found it anything but amusing and didn’t even play with it for a minute. Since I wasn’t sure if maybe my pooch was just being picky, I gave it to some friends’ dogs, but two other dogs didn’t play with it either. Such a shame – looks like I’ll be going back to the good old ball.

UNBEATABLE
We've bought many balls or similar toys for our Labrador before – most of them only lasted 10 minutes of fun, if that – but the running egg is absolutely brilliant! Endless playtime – whether he's on his own or when his friend comes over to visit.
--- Simply fantastic!

Addendum
I mentioned in my previous comment that I chose the largest size, but the egg only comes in one size.
I think it's not really suitable for very small dogs because it's quite hard.
But for anyone who doesn't mind that, I fully recommend it.
