My dog had absolutely no fun. Doesn't match the description – far too loud, cheap plastic.

My dog was not impressed at all. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Brilliantly simple, simply brilliant
The first toy that managed to tire out my Border Collie and that he can't destroy.

Great activity for a large meadow
The egg is quite large and hard, and my dog absolutely loves it. She really burns off her energy with it and then lies tired in the grass after about three-quarters of an hour. You can also use this egg perfectly to train impulse control, as she is so intensely focused on it. However, you really need a lot of space for it, because the fun is over as soon as it ends up in the bushes or the field – then it doesn’t move at all anymore.

Super toy!
First toy given to my dog Arya when she was two months old. Today, she’s 4 years old. As soon as she goes into the garden, she calls for us to throw it for her. She’s figured out a technique to trap it between her paws, which promises some fun battles to get it out of there! The egg is made of very hard plastic, so it’s super resistant to shocks and weather conditions. It can be cleaned easily. It slides well on hard surfaces, less so on grass. I highly recommend it!!!

Great activity
My dog runs around the garden with the egg until she's completely exhausted. She always wants to carry everything around, but she can't get a grip on this toy. It's not suitable for indoors, but for the garden, it's a brilliant thing—it keeps the dog entertained on her own for a while.

Clear recommendation to buy!!!
Our Doberman male is absolutely crazy about the egg. At first, I was very sceptical because the egg itself is very hard, and based on experience, our dog tends to be more interested in chasing than playing. But after a very short adjustment period, there was no stopping him...
I honestly regret not ordering it sooner.
The RunningEgg brings us so much joy!

Great for large dogs
I bought the egg three years ago for my Giant Schnauzer. He still plays with it every single day, and it doesn’t break. Finally, something that lasts and brings joy to the dog. :-)

Wasn't great, unfortunately.
Our Weimaraner couldn’t care less about the egg. The product itself is actually quite well made. Since our dog couldn’t get to grips with the egg at all, the fun was over after 30 seconds, and he didn’t want anything more to do with it. Our Weimi loves carrying things around, which might be the reason why the egg is unsuitable. For us, the purchase was a flop. But every dog is different, and for some dogs, the egg is a real hit.

Super toy
Great toy, but not so great for Rottweilers as it was broken after about 4 hours with us. After that, you really shouldn't use it anymore as it could damage their teeth—such a shame.

Toy without fun factor
We saw the "runninGegg" advertised and were hoping for lots of fun for our four little rascals, who are partly crazy ball junkies. Unfortunately, the toy is now just lying unused in the garden and is completely ignored by all the dogs because each of them has hurt themselves badly on the hard part multiple times. However, they’ve found a new use for it: they now use it as a spot to do their business.

Not for the faint-hearted
My Breton loves balls of all kinds. But he was scared of this one. I gave it away.

Parson Terrier loves it... unfortunately, his teeth don't :(
I bought this egg four years ago because the dogs already loved it at the breeder's. Mine goes absolutely crazy when he gets it... or rather, used to get it. And here's the problem: he was extremely interested in it and eventually, besides "chasing it around the garden," he figured out a way to sit on his hind legs, clamp the egg between his front legs, and then chew on it/pull his canines across it. And since the material is extremely hard, the egg only got a few scratches... The result of all this: he basically ground down his teeth :( So unfortunately (and much to the dog's disappointment), the egg had to go.

Super toy!
It took a while for my Rottweiler bitch to show interest in the egg, but now it's her favourite toy! 5 stars for the indestructible egg :)

Great toy
I’d like to give an update here. We’ve had the egg since 2009, and it’s always been used in the garden by our dog. The weather doesn’t seem to bother the egg at all. Our dog (a German Shepherd mix) loves it and still plays with it just as enthusiastically as he did six years ago. He never gets bored with it. I can only recommend it!

Too hard and not really interesting.
I bought the runningEgg about a year ago for my Malinois and my Beagle. They showed hardly any interest. It's just too hard, can't be gripped, and is difficult to push around.

too hard
Our dog (Aussie, 2.5 years old) loves it, but after a while, he loses interest in playing because he can't hold onto it—it’s too hard and too smooth. Advantage: he can't destroy it.
I recommend it for outdoor use or indoors with carpeted floors; otherwise, it's too noisy.

Not a good toy
It’s not suitable for a flat and made from inappropriate material. It’s too hard, so it’s no fun for the dog to chase after the ball or try to catch it, as it can’t be caught. As a result, there was no interest in playing with it after the first attempt.

Awakens disinterest
My dog was absolutely thrilled chasing after the egg, but since she can't grab it with her snout, she quickly decided to ignore it, and it's been lying in the garden ever since – even though she's usually a very prey-driven and curious dog.
