No fun
Our playful Portuguese Water Dog isn't interested in the egg, and when I try to encourage her to play with it, she gets scared and angry. Unfortunately, it's not for us.

Great product, little interest from the dogs.
Good quality, but my dogs aren't interested.

Awakens disinterest
My dog was absolutely thrilled chasing after the egg, but since she can't grab it with her snout, she quickly decided to ignore it, and it's been lying in the garden ever since – even though she's usually a very prey-driven and curious dog.

Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive.
Unfortunately, my usually playful Landseer didn’t take to this egg at all. He doesn’t really know what to do with it. The egg is now serving as the head for our Santa Claus. Just pop a mask over it, and it’s done. So, if you’re in need of a head for a Santa Claus, then the egg comes highly recommended :-)

Not a must-have.
I have two Golden Retrievers who absolutely love to play! But with the egg, they don’t know what to do with it and completely ignore it. The only exception is now in the snow, because it slides around nicely, but that’s about it. Since they can’t grab it with their mouths, it’s just boring... I wrapped a thick rope around it, so at least now they play with it a bit. Conclusion: For the money, I’d rather buy more balls – they get much more enjoyment out of those!

Runningegg
Unfortunately, our dog (NSDTR) doesn't play with the egg, even though she usually knows how to make use of anything lying around.

The dog loves it BUT
My shepherd mix absolutely loves the egg. At first, it slipped so nicely through all four of his paws, but he quickly figured out how to hold it in a way that he constantly nibbles off little plastic shavings, which then end up in the dog and the garden. As soon as he gets hold of it, he starts chewing on it instead of moving it around. It's a good idea, but I don't want him eating plastic, and now there are shavings sticking out all over the egg.

RunningGegg
My 2-year-old Border Collie male isn't interested in the egg at all!
A quick inspection, nudged it three times... and that was it. The egg itself is very sturdy, there's nothing to criticise there!! Maybe the RunninGegg is a hit with some other dogs, but unfortunately not with ours.

Not suitable for my ball addict
I bought this egg for my Mali Mix and had to realise that after just 5 minutes, the first splinters started falling off. Since he loves retrieving, he naturally tries to bite into it – which only works at the narrow end. When I kick it, he tries to catch it and has already hurt his snout several times. Driving it isn’t his thing either, so he just barks at this thing when I give it to him.
I can’t recommend it.

Nice idea, but...
When the dog thinks, "What on earth is this? You can't even grab it, it just wobbles around and makes noise..." Our dog was super excited at first when she saw it: "Ooooh, something new—give it here!" But after a few wild attempts and nose bumps (the thing is pretty hard), she seemed more confused and immediately ignored it. Now there's this big yellow thing lying around, and it wasn't even cheap. Such a shame!

Trouble for the dog
My Aussie loves playing ball games, but this egg just frustrated him because he couldn’t get a grip on it. In the end, he chewed on it so much that he made holes in it so he could hold it. As a result, he ended up with bloody gums. I find the Boomer Snack Ball much more appealing. He doesn’t bite through that one.

Unfortunately, bitten through after all.
Very disappointed!
I received the egg yesterday and tried it out with my dog for the first time today. She played with it beautifully and had a lot of fun until she somehow managed to bite through the narrower end, immediately creating two holes. After that, she was able to get it into her mouth quite easily and bit more holes into it, even deforming it a bit before I could take it away from her.
Unfortunately, it’s not as sturdy as claimed! Such a shame about the money...

Running Egg
I expected the item to be more durable. My 2-year-old Boxer loves it, and so does the neighbour's dog. But the big Labrador mix from next door managed to bite into it very quickly. For the price, that's not acceptable. Otherwise, it's a great outdoor toy. For hard plastic, the price is quite high, but unfortunately, the durability isn't great! I ordered it on 23/09, and it's already ruined!

boring noisemaker egg
Our puppies found the hard egg funny because it makes a loud noise against the house wall, but the big dogs found it boring since it doesn’t bounce and you can’t catch it either. Unfortunately, a bad purchase.

Something different expected than a plastic egg
Our dogs (German Shepherd and Jack Russell mix) have absolutely no interest in the egg. The product is not worth the money.

Flop
When I saw the egg, I thought: This is it! My Border Collie loves balls of all sizes, especially ones that bounce nicely. But this egg doesn’t bounce at all. On the contrary, whenever I try to get my dog to play with it, she backs away. The material is far too hard, posing a significant risk of injury, especially for dogs with long legs. It’s not easy for the dog to grip and quickly becomes uninteresting. After just two uses, the material has already cracked – in short: a complete flop.

Unfortunately, a flop for us.
When I saw this toy here, I was sure it would be the perfect gift for my very cheeky dog. He got it for Christmas, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a total flop for us and him. He couldn’t be less interested in it; to this day, he has never played with it, neither on his own nor when we tried to encourage him. Such a shame—the egg just sits in the corner, and I think I’ll end up giving it away. The quality isn’t bad at all, and the colour (in this case, red) is really nice and vibrant. It’s certainly not a bad product, which makes it all the more disappointing that he didn’t take to it.

The gameplay leaves much to be desired.
I bought it for my German Shepherd, but she has absolutely no interest in the egg. Firstly, it looks very cheap in terms of design, more like an Easter decoration than anything else. And as I said, my dog has no use for it, nor do four other dogs. So, for £19, I wouldn’t recommend it.
