Unfortunately, a flop for us.
When I saw this toy here, I was sure it would be the perfect gift for my very cheeky dog. He got it for Christmas, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a total flop for us and him. He couldn’t be less interested in it; to this day, he has never played with it, neither on his own nor when we tried to encourage him. Such a shame—the egg just sits in the corner, and I think I’ll end up giving it away. The quality isn’t bad at all, and the colour (in this case, red) is really nice and vibrant. It’s certainly not a bad product, which makes it all the more disappointing that he didn’t take to it.

Far too hard
We have 10 dogs here, and not one of our usually playful four-legged friends is interested in the egg. They kicked it with their paws once, and that was it... I bought two, unfortunately for nothing, so only one star!

Far too hard
So, my dog shows zero interest in the egg, it's way too hard, risk of injury!! She can't bite it, and that makes it uninteresting for her. Money wasted!

Super
That was Henry's Christmas present - absolutely brilliant, he chases after this egg non-stop. We have to take it away after a while because he gets completely overexcited and just can't get enough of it. So far, it's the most durable toy for our boisterous Lab.

The dog likes it, but it's hard to kick.
My Entlebucher Mountain Dog loves the egg. It's also very sturdy and only has a few tiny scratches (even though I've had it for almost a year now). However, I always have to kick or throw the egg for her to chase it. Throwing it is quite risky because I'm afraid the large egg might fall on my dog's head. Kicking it is pretty painful, even with sturdy shoes.

Brilliant, but...
Our Landseer male has had one of these eggs for about a year now. He loves it, precisely because it's so unpredictable. He would happily play outside with it all day long – the dog has turned into a "footballer" ;-). And even this big dog can't fit it in his mouth or bite through it. The egg has also survived this long, harsh winter completely unscathed, even though it was left outside the whole time.
The downside:
After at most three-quarters of an hour, I end the game. Because the dog constantly bumps his joints against the hard plastic, the joints start to swell if you overdo it. It's a brilliant activity, but it needs to be used in moderation.

Simply brilliant
We've had the egg for about three-quarters of a year now, and our dog, a Border Collie mix, would play with it non-stop if she were allowed. It's the most brilliant toy for her. It's just a shame that it's so big, so you can't even take it along on a walk.

The dog can't do anything with it!
Hello,
Our dog usually plays with everything.
But what is he supposed to do with a big, hard egg? The thing is so hard that he can't even grip it. So, it's completely uninteresting.
Conclusion: Money down the drain!
Sure, you can return it, but you're stuck with the shipping costs.
I'm curious to see if my review will be published this time. Apparently, not every negative review gets printed... Maybe this should be reported.
Kind regards

The super egg!
Our dog got this egg for her 1st birthday in October. Since then, it’s become THE toy of all toys. It stays in our garden come rain or shine, so our Collie mix can always play with it. She’s already become quite the “egg artist”. I can recommend this toy to all ball-loving dogs.

Unfortunately, too hard
Basically a great thing, my dogs love it, but their front legs always bang against the hard plastic egg. If I let them play with it for longer, I’m sure I’d notice changes in their legs.

It's fun!
At the moment, we’re only using the egg indoors. It’s pretty noisy, but it’s also loads of fun. My almost 2-year-old Giant Schnauzer bitch has destroyed every toy in no time at all so far, but the egg has lasted for 2 weeks now – that’s a record ;-)! I think it’ll be even more fun outside in the summer!
I haven’t thought of putting treats inside it yet.

Knickei
My two ball-crazy dogs completely ignore the oversized hard plastic egg. Zero interest. It's just an oversized hard plastic Easter egg, after all. It's probably better suited for decorative purposes than for dog games.

Our Max had loads of fun.
Our shepherd mix Max has an absolute blast with it. The RunninGegg stays in the garden, so he can play whenever he wants and keep himself entertained. For a dog that loves playing with balls and enjoys fetching, it's the perfect pastime.

Class...
Super, my little Abby, an Australian Shepherd, absolutely loves the ball. She tires herself out in no time... brilliant toy!

We think it's brilliant..
But we don’t use it to fill it with food – that’s what the Kong is for! A bit of football with the owner – and this egg-shaped ball… and the dog is happy!! He really burns off some energy – stays under control so there’s no chance of biting it to pieces, and still runs more than we humans do. It’s obvious that dogs have more stamina – but we don’t have to run along with them :-) … Still, we should take a few steps together with them and not always just call for toys that they’re supposed to play with on their own….
Don’t forget: the time we have with them is very limited – look at your furry friend and think about how old they are now and how old they’ll ever get… maybe a bit of playing together, for which this egg-shaped ball is absolutely brilliant, is long overdue.

Indestructible is something else.
We bought this toy for our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for her birthday and were initially very excited, as the dog couldn’t calm down while playing with it. However, after just a few play sessions, she figured out how to grab the egg and carry it around. Now it’s completely chewed up, with deep grooves and sharp edges. We can’t let her play with it anymore (and that’s after less than two weeks), as she might hurt herself biting into it. Such a shame, because the description left much to be desired!

Experiences with RunninGegg
So, I (or rather, my dog) tested the egg. It's good; my dog plays with it on his own for a while.
Disadvantages of the egg: it's too hard. My dog plays a lot with his paws, and when the egg bangs against them, I'm worried he might hurt himself. Also, it didn't take long before he brought the egg to me in his mouth. Since then, he only tries to pick it up with his mouth and bring it to me.
Now the egg looks like this: full of deep dents from his teeth. My dog is a Malinois-Border Collie mix.

Very cheaply made
When I bought this egg, I thought it would be a great toy for my American Bulldog. But unfortunately, the egg turned out to be a complete flop – the stitching was cheaply done, and the hole where treats were supposed to fall out was far too small (7mm, I measured it)!!!

not suitable for strong dogs
I gave my Rotti-mix lady the egg today. Since she quickly figured out how to hold the egg and bit into it hard twice, I can no longer use it. It now has holes and deep scratches. Indestructible is something else entirely. I think this toy is absolutely unsuitable for large, strong breeds.

Absolutely hilarious!
My Labrador "Cooper" loves this "EGG" 😂
It's absolutely hilarious watching him play with it!
