The scratching board is a hit among cats, offering a mix of play, rest, and scratching. While some felines adore fishing out the jingly balls, others prefer lounging or scratching. The cardboard can wear out quickly, especially with enthusiastic use, but its affordability makes it easy to replace. Some owners find it less sturdy for heavier cats, but overall, it's a fun, engaging product that many cats enjoy, providing hours of entertainment and relaxation.

Super
We have 3 cats. Our pack leader claimed it straight away and loves scratching it. He also enjoys cuddling with it and marking it because of the included catnip. The cardboard and catnip are an unbeatable duo for him. So far, the balls in the base have been rather uninteresting.

Still great even after 9 months
My tomcat absolutely loves this thing, with or without treats. Even after three-quarters of a year, it's still in good condition and usable. I keep it under my desk so it doesn’t slide around too much. Unbeatable value for money!

And once again, an absolute hit!
Bought it for the second time. The first one is now pretty battered (but lasted over a year with heavy use by three cats), yet it’s still being used just as much as a scratching board and treat-hunting cave as the new one straight out of the box (the balls were fished out right away :-))

Great
This is the only cat scratcher that my cats will use. Both of my 5 year old ragdolls enjoy sitting on it, playing with it & most of all scratching it.
Ignored by one, adored by the other
One cat played with the included ball and enjoyed poking her paw inside for about five minutes when I first put it down, then completely ignored it.
The other cat took a little bit of time to come round to it, then adopted it as her scratching place and bed. She has scratched it so much that it has bent in two and she has scratched a hole through it. She loves it and if you are looking for her this is where she will be, either scratching it or sleeping on it.
Please restock it!
Too unstable
My large Maine Coon didn’t want to use it. But as soon as the scratching cardboard was out of the colourful box and lying on the floor, excitement kicked in.

Durability: 3 weeks
As often mentioned, it doesn’t last particularly long in use. However, my tomcat took to it immediately, played with it for ages, easily got the balls out, again and again, until one ball got in the way and it shattered into many small plastic pieces. I think this needs to be reconsidered. If you don’t clean it up straight away, I don’t even want to imagine the consequences. Still, I’m glad he made good use of the scratching opportunity. Please develop Scratching Furniture 2.0!

Great
Great product she loves it she's trying to get the Balls from inside out 😂 😂 😂

No cat likes it
My mums cat isn’t interested in scratching it. Neither is the neighbours male cat who doesn’t even go anywhere near it. The other neighbour’s kitten (10months) played with the balls inside but again not interested in scratching it. They all rather come in and scratch our carpets and rugs!
Maybe it’s for really young kittens.

Cat didn't even try it
I bought this in the stupid hope the cat may like it. If not the ginger neighbours kitten less than a year old or the other tabby cat who visits. The ginger like the balls inside then got bored. A waste of time and catnip has no scent to it.

Super scratch and play option
At first, I was a bit sceptical about whether the scratching board was the right toy for our two, but based on the many positive reviews, I decided to buy it – and I wasn’t disappointed!
Our little one loves scratching it, lying on it, and fishing out the balls, while the older one plays with the balls every now and then. What I would really like, though, is if the scratching surface on top could be replaced easily without having to buy the whole thing again.
Still, a clear recommendation to buy!

Unusually Popular Toy
All of my cats love this and enjoy sitting on it, scratching it and some of them like to play with the balls. I put in different kinds and they enjoy that. I don't even bother to use catnip on it. By the way, my cats are 10 months to 11 years old.

Our cats love it
If you don't assume that the cats will jump from the scratching post onto the board and it will break right in the middle, I can only recommend it. They love sharpening their claws and also sleep on the board.

Good product
Our three cats love it, and I’ll definitely buy it again. It doesn’t create as much mess as other scratching furniture made of paper, and it even held up to our heavy cat, who weighs around 10 kg. After about three weeks of constant use, we disposed of it this week.

Super
My two cats love it and scratch at it every day, plus they keep themselves busy playing with the ball.

Breaks quickly
This scratching board looks good, and our cat took to it straight away. She uses it daily, scratches it, and also likes to lie on it. So far, so good.
Unfortunately, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The rather thin "scratching insert" bends under pressure (the cat weighs 3.5 kg!) and, after just a few weeks, no longer sits firmly in the frame. If a claw gets caught while scratching, the insert quickly comes loose from the cardboard frame, gets lifted up, and shifts around. The insert cannot be replaced.

Great idea, but.....
When we received the box, I was really excited. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last long, as it broke quite quickly. My Maine Coon tomcat (7 months old) stood on it and wanted to play, and the box collapsed in the middle. In other words, it’s broken, and the cat was thrilled.

Great activity
My cat loves this scratching cardboard. We also hide treats in it, so she’s constantly busy with it. As mentioned in other reviews, the cardboard seems like it’s about to break soon, and we’ll need to get a replacement quickly. A replacement cardboard would be ideal, but unfortunately, it’s not available :(

Great scratching post, but unfortunately no replacement insert.
My cats love this scratching board and also enjoy playing with the balls, but unfortunately, it's not possible to get a replacement insert—you always have to buy a new one, which I find very disappointing as the cardboard doesn't last very long.

My senior cats love it
This is great for the lounge. There are balls in there which they pull out but you can replace them if lost. They take it in turns to sit on it and watch everything and scratch it in turn. This is the best of the cardboard scratchers that I have had.
