Product description

Scratching board and skill training for cats in one, top made of corrugated cardboard for scratching, two balls with bells inside, with different openings for fishing & pawing, colour: colourful.
The Scratch & Play Scratching Furniture is the ultimate cat toy that offers two functions in one. It combines a practical scratching toy for claw care with an intelligence toy that will keep your cat occupied for hours. The top is made of corrugated cardboard, ideal for cats to fulfil their natural urge to scratch, and protects your furniture.

Inside the Scratch & Play scratching furniture are two small balls with bells that can be reached through various openings. Your cat can move these balls with its paw, which makes the game even more fun. If your cat needs even more stimulation, you can use the enclosed bag of catnip and sprinkle it over the corrugated cardboard to increase their motivation.

Insights from real Pet Parents

AI-generated summary based on reviews added by customers

The scratching board is a hit among cats, offering a mix of play, rest, and scratching. While some felines adore fishing out the jingly balls, others prefer lounging or scratching. The cardboard can wear out quickly, especially with enthusiastic use, but its affordability makes it easy to replace. Some owners find it less sturdy for heavier cats, but overall, it's a fun, engaging product that many cats enjoy, providing hours of entertainment and relaxation.

Cats love it

Cats say it's a great bed! Ball was lost right away but everyone likes to sleep on it

Excellent, my boy loves his 4th one

My cat is on his 4th box now as he loves it

My Tabby cat loves it

Soon as I unwrapped it she has not stopped playing with it.

Funtastic!

My cat, who is a British short hair blue, (so biggish in size) can not get enough of this board. He uses it every time he comes in the room. When he has his "mad halfhour" he goes bananas with the balls and board. He also loves laying on it and often curls up and falls asleep. This has to be the most used, loved, and value for money, ever! Will be getting another one or two! Overall....Great, cheap, fun and well used!

My cat loves it

Cat loves it! It's a toy, bed, scratching post all in one, and we turn the scratch pad over when he is finished with one side. We repeat buy it for him when he is done using it every 12 weeks

Excellent Toy for my Kitten

My 11 weeks old Russian Blue kitten loves it!

Cats love it!

Our cats love this! They both use it to sit on, play with the ball inside and as a scratcher. The only reason I gave it 4 Star is that the top part of it is easily taken out by our cat when she gets the ball out. We have since glued it so that she doesn’t get her claw stuck to the top. Worth the money though and will buy again.

Amazing

My cat can't get enough of this. I have to pick up the balls and insert them again all the time because she's become an expert at removing them in a flash. The cardboard is enduring surprisingly well despite my kitty being a Norwegian Forest Cat with giant claws.

Brilliant value

Great fun my cats love scratching on it and flicking out the balls.

Durable scratcher and loads of fun

Rebuying as it's finally worn out. Not all cats will "get it", but mine even locates balls by peeking through the holes on the side. Cats sharpen claws or rest on corrugated card, close to the feel of bark.

Great

This is the only cat scratcher that my cats will use. Both of my 5 year old ragdolls enjoy sitting on it, playing with it & most of all scratching it.

Ignored by one, adored by the other

One cat played with the included ball and enjoyed poking her paw inside for about five minutes when I first put it down, then completely ignored it. The other cat took a little bit of time to come round to it, then adopted it as her scratching place and bed. She has scratched it so much that it has bent in two and she has scratched a hole through it. She loves it and if you are looking for her this is where she will be, either scratching it or sleeping on it. Please restock it!

Great

Great product she loves it she's trying to get the Balls from inside out 😂 😂 😂

No cat likes it

My mums cat isn’t interested in scratching it. Neither is the neighbours male cat who doesn’t even go anywhere near it. The other neighbour’s kitten (10months) played with the balls inside but again not interested in scratching it. They all rather come in and scratch our carpets and rugs! Maybe it’s for really young kittens.

Cat didn't even try it

I bought this in the stupid hope the cat may like it. If not the ginger neighbours kitten less than a year old or the other tabby cat who visits. The ginger like the balls inside then got bored. A waste of time and catnip has no scent to it.

Unusually Popular Toy

All of my cats love this and enjoy sitting on it, scratching it and some of them like to play with the balls. I put in different kinds and they enjoy that. I don't even bother to use catnip on it. By the way, my cats are 10 months to 11 years old.

My senior cats love it

This is great for the lounge. There are balls in there which they pull out but you can replace them if lost. They take it in turns to sit on it and watch everything and scratch it in turn. This is the best of the cardboard scratchers that I have had.

Absolutely the Best

Had loads of these over the years, glad they're back in stock. These are the best ones you can buy, as it is in a box, no nasty mess underneath when it is moved. Have used them for my own young and old cats and for foster cats in the pen when I worked for the Cats Protection, they are brilliant for reducing scratching furniture, and the balls underneath always give that one element more for your feline friends to find. Well worth the money and cheaper than PEts @ Home

Good value for money

Our two cats love this! They love sitting on it, sleeping on it, playing with the balls and they go mad scratching it! They tend to last 3 months max though and then you need to get another as the cardboard bits start to get everywhere and they don’t have as much to scratch at. Still though not bad and the cats adore them.
