Hours of fun for kittens
I am sure there was a ball inside but think my clever kittens got it out. What really drove them to distraction (in a fun way) was when I put ping pong balls in the holes. Kittens were happily engaged in trying to get the balls out for nearly an hour. It was a great test of their ingenuity and physical skills. I'm getting more (one for my niece's cats and another for my kittens). I recommend these very highly they will keep you kittens/cats happy for ages.

My cat, who is a British short hair blue, (so biggish in size) can not get enough of this board. He uses it every time he comes in the room.
When he has his "mad halfhour" he goes bananas with the balls and board.
He also loves laying on it and often curls up and falls asleep.
This has to be the most used, loved, and value for money, ever!

Amazing
My cat can't get enough of this. I have to pick up the balls and insert them again all the time because she's become an expert at removing them in a flash. The cardboard is enduring surprisingly well despite my kitty being a Norwegian Forest Cat with giant claws.

Rebuying as it's finally worn out. Not all cats will "get it", but mine even locates balls by peeking through the holes on the side. Cats sharpen claws or rest on corrugated card, close to the feel of bark.

Great
This is the only cat scratcher that my cats will use. Both of my 5 year old ragdolls enjoy sitting on it, playing with it & most of all scratching it.
Ignored by one, adored by the other
One cat played with the included ball and enjoyed poking her paw inside for about five minutes when I first put it down, then completely ignored it.
The other cat took a little bit of time to come round to it, then adopted it as her scratching place and bed. She has scratched it so much that it has bent in two and she has scratched a hole through it. She loves it and if you are looking for her this is where she will be, either scratching it or sleeping on it.

Unusually Popular Toy
All of my cats love this and enjoy sitting on it, scratching it and some of them like to play with the balls. I put in different kinds and they enjoy that. I don't even bother to use catnip on it. By the way, my cats are 10 months to 11 years old.

My senior cats love it
This is great for the lounge. There are balls in there which they pull out but you can replace them if lost. They take it in turns to sit on it and watch everything and scratch it in turn. This is the best of the cardboard scratchers that I have had.

Absolutely the Best
Had loads of these over the years, glad they're back in stock. These are the best ones you can buy, as it is in a box, no nasty mess underneath when it is moved. Have used them for my own young and old cats and for foster cats in the pen when I worked for the Cats Protection, they are brilliant for reducing scratching furniture, and the balls underneath always give that one element more for your feline friends to find. Good value for money
Our two cats love this! They love sitting on it, sleeping on it, playing with the balls and they go mad scratching it! They tend to last 3 months max though and then you need to get another as the cardboard bits start to get everywhere and they don’t have as much to scratch at. Still though not bad and the cats adore them.

Massive interst for all cat/kitten ages
Have brought a number of these over the years for both my own and the fostered cats and kittens I have looked after. Never fails to fascinate them, from just scratching and resting posts, to finding the balls inside. They have all loved it from young to old, well worth the money.

Fun for all
I bought this for my cats in desperation as they were scratching everywhere especially the carpet on the bottom stair and the arm of the sofa. It didn't stop the scratching but all 6 of my cats love it and there is often an unhappy cat waiting for it. They all scratch it, sleep on it and sit there looking at us. I have to keep the balls topped up, there is a pack in poundland that has the right sized balls. They do play with other toys but this is their favourite by far.

Lasts for a while
Perfect scratching furniture for our lady (Mandy), who unfortunately can't go outside because she's deaf... So she scratches indoors, but not on the furniture—she uses several different scratching posts and similar things. She's also discovered the balls inside and can keep herself entertained with them.
